인터넷 기술의 급속한 발전으로 교육분야에서도 많은 변화를 가져오고 있고 그 변화 중 하나는 웹을 활용하는 수업들이다. 전통적인 교실 수업과는 달리, 웹을 기반으로 하는 가상대학 등에서는 멀티미디어적인 요소(텍스트, 그래픽, 사운드, 애니메이션, 비디오 등)를 갖춘 웹 문서를 기반으로 하이퍼미디어 기능을 이용하여 학습자가 자유자재로 항해할 수 있는 기능을 제공함으로써 가장 효과적인 수업도구로 점차 인식되어가고 있다. 그러나, 웹이 수업도구로 전이되어 가는 속도에 비해, 이들의 질을 평가할 수 있는 유용한 평가요소들에 대한 원형은 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 최근 웹을 활용한 수업에 대해 평가할 수 있는 평가 항목을 제시하고 이들을 실제로 한 가상대학에서 이루어지는 강의에 대해 적용시켜 전통수업과 비교하여 항목을 평가한다. 이를 통해 점차 확산되어가고 있는 가상대학의 양질의 강의를 위한 평가의 기초 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

본 논문에서는 웹 기반 자기 주도적 학습을 위한 시스템을 설계하였다. 시스템 설계를 위해 먼저, 웹 기반의 자기 주도적 학습에서 활용되는 교수 학습 과정안을 탐색하였다. 그리 그 교수학습 과정안을 웹 기반의 공간에서 수행하는데 필요한 시스템의 요구 사항을 파악하고 그 요구 사항에 적절한 시스템을 설계하였다. 또한, 설계한 시스템을 적절하게 운영할 수 있는 방안을 모색하여 학습의 효과를 높일 수 있도록 하였다. 본 논문에서 설계한 웹 기반 자기 주도적 학습 시스템을 방과 후, 방학, 현장 학습 등에 적절히 활용할 경우 교수 학습에 효과가 클 것으로 기대된다.

본 연구는 웹기반 3차원 가상현실 프로그램과 2차원 HTML 프로그램을 이용한 학습활동이 학습자의 학업성취도, 학습만족도에 미치는 효과를 알아보고, 또한 학습자의 공간지각력 수준에 따라 웹기반 3차원 가상현실 프로그램과 2차원 HTML 프로그램간에는 상호작용 효과가 있는지에 관해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 결과 3차원 가상현실 프로그램을 사용하여 학습한 집단과 2차원 HTML 프로그램으로 학습한 집단간에는 학업성취도와 전반적 만족도에 있어서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 또한 학습자의 공간지각력과 웹기반 학습 프로그램 유형간에는 학습만족도 면에서는 상호작용 효과가 나타나지 않았으나, 학업성취도에 있어서는 통계적으로 유의미한 상호작용 효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다.

This study was conducted to develop Web-based multimedia content that assists undergraduate students in a clinical practicum on adult nursing. The study examined whether students in the intervention group could obtain clinical knowledge and perform more effectively when encouraged to learn Web content as compared with students in the conventional group. Web-based multimedia content consisting of 13 learning modules was developed based on real patients' scenarios through collaboration among college professors. A total of 120 nursing students (74 for the intervention and 46 for the conventional groups) from two universities in G-city, who engaged in a 3-week long clinical practicum in the digestive and respiratory units of a university hospital, participated in the study. Students' knowledge, self-directed learning, and clinical performance ability were measured using self-administered questionnaires. Data for pre- and posttests were collected over a 2-month period, between May and June of 2009. Clinical knowledge and self-reported clinical performance scores were significantly higher in students using the Web-enhanced clinical practicum than in those in the conventional group. However, there was no significant difference in self-directed learning ability between the 2 groups. These results demonstrate that Web-based multimedia content can be an effective educational tool for enhancing students' clinical knowledge and performance.

본 연구에서는 제7차 교육과정의 중등 과학 생물영역 심화학습을 위한 웹 기반 학습 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 중학교 3학년을 대상으로 적용한 결과를 분석하였다. 중학교 전학년 및 고등학교 1학년 생물영역 심화과정의 5개 주제를 선정하여 의문형으로 제시했으며, 각 주제별로 4개의 하위 학습단원 '활동'을 설정. 총 20개의 '활동'을 개발하였다. 먼저 2개의 하위활동은 기본 및 심화과정 학습내용을 설명하고, 3번째 하위활동은 가상실험을, 4번째 하위활동은 평가 및 정리 문제를 제시하는 방향에서 설계하였다. 이외에 풍부한 자료와 보충 설명을 위하여 용어 사전을 4개 하위활동에 삽입하였다. 각 활동은 하이퍼링트시켜 서로 상호 연결되도록 하였으며, 학습자가 직접실험을 설계 수행하고 결과를 확인할 수 있도록 가상실험을 설계하였다. 개발된 웹 기반 학습 프로그램의 효과를 분석하기 위하여, 중학교 3학년 247명의 학생들을 대상으로 프로그램을 적용하고 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 대부분의 학생들은 가정에서 인터넷을 사용할 수 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 과제학습을 수행하기보다는 e-mail이나 정보 검색을 목적으로 인터넷을 활용하는 것으로 조사되었다. 프로그램을 학습한 67명의 학생들은 프로그램을 학습하지 않은 학생들에 비해 '생식과 발생'단원의 학습성취도에서 유의미하게 높은 점수를 얻었다. 또한, 학생들은 웹 기반 학습 프로그램의 가상실험과 애니메이션 효과를 선호하였으며, 프로그램이 다른 웹 기반 프로그램에 비해 우수하다고 평가하였다. 반면, 웹 기반 학습 프로그램을 학습하지 않은 학생들은 다론 웹 기반학습 프로그램에 관심이 없으며, 과학에도 흥미가 없다고 응답하였다. 최근 학생들이 가정과 학교에서 인터넷을 활용할 수 있는 여건은 조성되었으나, 학생들의 흥미와 학습효과를 신장시킬 수 있는 웹 기반 프로그램의 개발 보급은 미비한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 결론적으로 가상실험, 애니메이션, 다양한 학습자료를 제공할 수 있는 인터넷의 환경을 효율적으로 활용하여, 학생들의 과학에 대한 흥미와 학업 성취도를 높이는 과학분야의 웹 기반 학습프로그램을 개발하는 일이 시급한 것으로 밝혀졌다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a web-based education program on control vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE) infections and to identify the effects of the program on knowledge and performance of nursing students. Methods: The web-based VRE infection control education program was developed by using the network-based instructional systems design model. The nursing students in the experimental group could access this web-based education program at any time, and as many times as they wanted, during the clinical training period. Effects were evaluated by assessing knowledge and performance of VRE infection control measures during the clinical training period. Results: The contents of the education program included diagnosis, transmission, and treatment of VRE, contact precautions, hand washing, personal protective equipment, environment management, and quizzes. The lecture portion was filmed in a virtual screen studio using flash animation, video, and sound effects, and it was uploaded on an internet site. The knowledge and performance scores of the experimental group after using the education program were significantly higher than those of the control group. Conclusion: The results suggest that the web-based VRE infection control education program is an effective educational method to enhance knowledge and performance of VRE infection control measures.

As Internet and World Wide Web become more popular in our society, the interests in effective application to the field of rural development and agricultural extension service are increasing. The potential in Web-based agricultural extension service is expressed in many areas, such as agriculture information, Web-based training and education, and virtual rural community for rural development and agricultural extension service. The research on the Web and its related issues has been conducted in many ways, but the interests in the competencies and skills of staff who are in charge of Web developing and managing have not been exposed yet. The purpose of this study was to investigate the important competencies and skills for Web developing and managing for enhancing the effectiveness of rural development and agricultural extension service. Twelve extension service staff and on staff in the extension service support center were interviewed. The results of study showed that there were eight essential competencies; competencies to understand rural community and agricultural extension service, to understand the farmers as Web users, to design and develop effective Web sites, to understand the nature of hypertext, to utilize instruction theories, to absorb new technology, to manage projects, and to utilize external sources. The results of study also showed that there was lack of support systems for Web development and information. Overall, the findings of this study suggest that establishing long-term education and training system for technology, electronic performance support systems, and cooperation with universities and colleges for technology are of particular importance for promoting Web-based extension services.

When the present Learning System for Computer-Related Subjects Using WBI is implemented on the Web with the above characteristics to help students to study computer subjects without any limitations of time or space, they can easily attain the goals of learning, have computer-utilizing abilities or information capacity, and enhance their capabilities for self-initiative learning. This system enables the learners to carry out 'plan-do-see' for the contents of learning initiatively. The learners can study the practice part of the curriculum using multi-media, such as motion pictures, voices, images, and sound effects, vividly with a sense of actual presence. It helps the students to have an active attitude toward leaning afterward. without meeting the teacher or without any storage media, the leaners can submit their assignments or materials for performance evaluation via the Internet.

인터넷에서 가장 활발하게 사용되고 있는 웹은 특성상 구성주의 학습원리를 실현하는데 적절한 환경을 제공하고 있으며, 교육 시스템의 변화를 가져오고 있다. WBI(Web Based Instruction)는 웹을 매체로 활용하여 원거리에 있는 학습자를 교육시키는 형태로서 교수자와 학습자간 상호작용을 가능하게 하고, 다양한 형태의 학습 자료를 제공하며, 시간과 장소의 제약을 극복할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 논문은 문제은행 방식의 모의시험을 제공하는 웹 기반 학습 시스템의 설계 및 구현을 통하여 학습자 중심의 능동적인 학습활동이 이루어 질 수 있는 학습 환경을 구축하고 그 효과를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 본 논문의 워드프로세서 자격증 시험을 위한 웹 기반 자기 주도적 학습 시스템은 교수자가 매번 새로운 문제를 출제하는 것이 아니라 문제은행에 저장되어 있는 문제를 검색하여 재 사용할 수 있고, 단원별로 원하는 문제 수를 지정하여 시험지를 출제한 수 있도록 구현하여 진정한 의미의 문제은행이라 할 수 있다. 학습자 웹 기반 학습을 하는 과정에 평가를 한 수 있도록 하였으며 즉각적인 피드백의 제공으로 학습자가 자기 주도적인 학습을 하는데 도움을 주었다. 또한, 시험 응시 후 단원별로 유사문제 검색을 할 수 있는 기회를 제공하였고, 학습자 문제은행 초기화면에서 키워드 검색으로 문제를 검색할 수 있게 함으로써 학습 효율을 더욱 증대시켰다.

대부분의 웹 기반의 교육 시스템은 교육 정보 제공에만 중점을 두고 있다. 웹이 점차 교육 정보를 제공하는 보편적인 기반이 되어 감에 따라서, 웹은 이제 정보 제공의 차원을 넘어 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 플랫폼으로 변모하고 있다. 이에 새롭게 변화된 웹 환경에 맞는 교육 서비스 모델이 시급히 요청되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 웹 기반 교육의 여러 한계성을 해결하기 위하여 새로운 기능형 중재자 기반의 교육자원 서비스 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 본 논문의 기능형 중재자기반의 교육자원 서비스 시스템은 웹상에 산재되어 있는 교육 자원들을 효율적으로 관리하고 사용자의 요청에 맞는 교육 서비스 정보를 제공하여 줌으로써, 교육 서비스 자원들의 재사용 효율과 생산성을 높일 수 있다.
