웹 기반(Web-Based Instruction) 간호관리학 실습교육 프로그램 개발 (The Development of Nursing Education Program on Web-Based Instruction;Application to Nursing Management Practice)

  • This study describes the development of nursing education program on web-based instruction for Nursing Management Practice of nursing school. The program has been developed based on five steps of the teaching-learning design model developed by Chung, In-Sung which is widely used in Web-Based Instruction(WBI). The objective of this study was to develop nursing education program on WEI and to evaluate its effectiveness. The subjects consisted of twenty-four senior nursing students taking the Nursing Management Practice course. Two sets of questionnaires were used for this study. They were asked to evaluate the program in terms of appropriateness of the teaching strategy, precision of the contents, easiness of use, easiness of approaching system, interface design, system management, enhancement of communication, and effectiveness of learning. The program was developed in five steps, analysis of the student, design of the contents, production of the system, implementation of the system, and evaluation of the effectiveness. It is concluded that this program was very useful in increasing the effectiveness of learning and motivation in the students. In addition to this, the web-based learning system would be one of the best qualified educational method for nursing students. Therefore, I would suggest that it can be used for other nursing courses which is available on the Web.

  • 웹기반 교육은 학습자 중심의 학습과 협동학습을 촉진시킬 수 있는 새로운 수업도구로서 기존의 획일화된 교수-학습 방식에서 탈피하여 새로운 교수모형에 대한 연구로 발전되고 있다. 강력한 웹 저작도구중 하나인 플래시를 사용하면 컴퓨터 그래픽, 애니메이션과 사운드 그리고 동영상 등의 활용으로 학습의 효과를 극대화 시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 플래시를 사용한 교육 자료의 개발 및 배포와 효율적인 웹기반 수업에 대하여 고찰하고자 한다.

초등학교 6학년의 안전사고예방을 위한 웹기반수업 프로그램 개발 및 효과분석 (Development and Effect Analysis of Web-Based Instruction Program to Prevent for 6th grades of Elementary School Students from Safety Accidents)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to develop a WBI(Web Based Instruction) program on safety for 6th grades of elementary school students and to test the effects of it. Method: The web site is http://www.safeschool.co.kr. The effect of it was tested from Mar 24, to Apr 30, 2003. The subjects were 150 students. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, and $x^2$ test, t-test, and repeated measure ANOVA. Result: In the knowledge of the safety precaution, the preliminary test was mean 17.8, immediate post-test was mean 20.9 and 4 weeks post-test was mean 20.9, there were significant differences statistically among three points of time. In the attitude of the safety precaution, the preliminary test was mean 75.1, the immediate post-test was mean 80.8 and 4 weeks post-test was mean 80.4, which showed significant difference statistically among three points of time. For the motive of learning to the safety precaution, it was significantly higher statistically in the WBI. As a result, the WBI group had totally longer effects on knowledge, attitude and motivation of the safety accident prevention than the textbook-based instruction. Conclusion: WBI program be used in each class to provide more effective safety instruction.

  • 본 논문에서는 웹 기반 학습 (WBI : Web Based Instruction)을 통하여 교육의 질을 향상시키고 효과적인 교수-학습이 이루어지도록 하기 위하여 웹기반 학습평가 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 웹 기반 평가시스템은 학습자가 삼각함수의 내용을 충분히 이해하고 학습한 내용을 진단하여 평가에 응하게 함으로써 자기주도적인 보충학습이 효과적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 하였고 한글을 이용하여 웹상에서 평가문항의 제작이 가능하도록 하였다.

장루 관리를 위한 Web 기반 간호교육 프로그램 개발 (Development of Web-based Nursing Education Program for Ostomy Care)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and apply a Web-based Nursing Education & Instruction Program to help the clinical nurses improving their knowledge and skills of ostomy care. This program was developed in three different steps: analysis. design. and development. The results of the study were as follows: The analysis step was designed to select the study contents for effective and easy educationthrough the analyses of specialized books. This surveyed and analyzed study contents were categorized into five different sections. Introduction. ostomy classification. ostomy management. elimination management. and life style. After that each section describes necessary information of each category. In the design step. the image files used in this program were created using Adobe Photoshop 6.0. and HTML files were designed and developed using Namo Editor 5.0. In the development step. the developed program was published into Web using FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and then finalized after trial operation for testing of real users. In addition. this Web-based Nursing Education & Instruction Program will be used as excellentand effective tool for continuous and lifelong education in nursingfield. In this study. computer-aided education program was developed for ostomy management and managed at the Web-Server (http://hshong.knu.ac.kr/ostomy) in order to help nurses real-time education in clinical field by this program.

웹 기반 학습을 위한 학습 시간 예측 모델 (Learning Time Prediction Model for Web-based Instruction)

  • 인터넷 상의 웹기반교육은 시$.$공간을 초월하여 많은 학습자들에게 관련 정보와 지식을 제공하고 있다. 그러나 웹 기반교육에서는 학습자의 학습진행상태를 단지 시험을 통해서만 확인 할 수 있는 문제가 있다. 본 논문은 웹기반교육에서 학습자의 학습 과정에 문제가 있는지를 검사하고, 문제가 있는 학생들을 발견할 수 있는 웹 모니터링 기법을 소개한다. 그 기법에서 본 논문은 이전 학을 단위들에 대한 학습자의 학습시간과 형성평가점수들에 기초하여 다음에 진행할 학습 단위에 대한 학습 시간을 예측할 수 있는 학습 시간 예측 모델을 제안한다. 이 기법은 교수자에게 학습자의 학습진행상태를 제공한다. 이 방법은 만약 학습자가 예측학습시간을 초과하였을 경우에는 자동으로 경고 메시지를 보내어 학습자가 다시 학습 과정에 잘 임하도록 독려하는데 이용될 수 있다. 학습시간 예측모델을 이용한 웹 모니터링에 관한 사례 연구를 통해 측정한 결과, 학습진행상태가 원만하지 않는 학습자의 대부분은 형성평가 점수가 저조하였다. 또한, 그들은 학습진행상태가 원만하지 않는 자신의 학습 습관을 그대로 유지하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

The Effectiveness of Streaming Video with Web Based Text in Online Course: Comparative Study on Three Types of Online Instruction for Korean College Students

  • This study is to identify whether three types of online instruction (text-based, video-based, and video-based instruction without text) and age category have a different influence on students' comprehension and motivation. Online students were randomly assigned to one of six groups, and they attended two-week online lectures via Course Management System. The comprehension test and the short form of IMMS were implemented when 114 participants accomplished two-week online lectures. The results revealed that using instructional video in online instruction is more effective instructional medium than text only in order to promote learner's motivation. Besides, older adults aged 41-60 are significantly different from younger adults (21-40 years old) in terms of students' comprehension. Furthermore, three types of online instructions are likely to be influenced by age category.

  • 최근에 WWW의 등장과 함께 컴퓨터를 매개로 한 수업이 점차 증가하고 있으며,웹 기반 수업에 대한 문제점이 많이 지적되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 버튼 이론을 이용하여 적용하기 위한 데이터베이스 테이블을 설계하여 학습자 동기 유발에 적응적인 웹기반 코스웨어의 모형을 제안하였다. 웹기반의 가상교육을 통해서 실제적으로 학습자 자신의학습동기를 체크하기 위하여 학습내용이 있는 매 화면마다 학습자의 상태를 파악할 수 있도록 테이블을 설계하였다.

중ㆍ고등학생 대상 영양교육 프로그램 효과평가 (Effectiveness of Web-Based Nutritional Education Program for Junior and Senior High School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of Web-based nutrition education program for junior and senior high school students. Three materials, which were printed materials on Group I, WBI (Web-Based Instruction) leaflet on Group II and the web-based nutrition education program developed in the antecedent research, were applied for 564 students in 3 junior high school and 4 senior high school in Seoul during 4 weeks. Pre-test was done from October 21 to October 26, 2002 and post-test was done from November 25 to December 13, 2002. The statistical data analysis was completed using SPSS WIN (ver. 11.0) for descriptive analysis, t-test and ANOVA. According to the evaluation of effectiveness for web-based nutrition education program, nutrition knowledge, food attitude, food habit and nutrient intake were not significantly improved but positively. And on the evaluation of effectiveness for nutrition education program by materials, WBI was more effective educational materials than WBI leaflet and printed materials. Consequently nutrition knowledge, food attitude, food habit and nutrient intake were improved positively but not significantly using WBI, which was due to the instructional period of the only 4 weeks. Therefore long-term instruction should be required for effective nutrition program, as well as more WBI nutrition education program for high school students would need to be developed in the near future in that WBI was effective material on nutrition education.
