Today, It is difficult to search the various and numerous information efficiently. For this reason, Semantic Web emerged to provide searching services more easily through the structuring of a variety of unstructured format data and the definition of meaningful relationships between information. Especially, definition of relationship and meaning among resources is significant to share and infer related information. Ontology modeling plays just that role. Weapon parts development information is unstructured and dispersed all over. There are many difficulties in finding desired information, leading to getting improper outcomes. In this paper, we present an intuitive ontology model with weapon parts development information including the multi-dimensional information analysis and expansion of the relevant information. This study build up a ontology model through creating class and hierarchy about parts information and defining the properties of classes with Ontology Development 101[1] procedures using Protégé tools. The ontology model provides users with a platform on which search of needed information can be easy and efficient.

Movie stories can be retrieved efficiently by analyzing a script, which is a blueprint of the movie. Although the movie script is described in the formatted structure of Final Draft, it is hard to restore the type without analyzing the story of the sentences since the scripts open on the website are mostly broken. For this purpose, it is necessary to develop and provide the web-based script analysis software so that users collaboratively and freely check and correct the errors in the results after automatically parsing the script. Hence, in this paper we suggest the structure of the web-based collaborative script analysis platform that enables users to modify and filter the type error of the script for high level of film data accumulation and performance evaluation for the implementation results is conducted. Through the experiment, accuracy of automatically parsing appears to be 64.95% and performance of modification by collaboration showed 99.58% of accuracy of parsing with errors mostly corrected after passing through 5 steps of modification.

XML/EDI is different from traditional EDI because it offers the framework necessary for electronic commerce and extends the scope of the traditional EDI which focuses on data transfer. Since existing EDI services are moved to Internet platform and again to Web platform, users can use EDI in the integrated environment without inconvenience of using different EDI softwares, which have their own configurations. This paper describes the overall design and implementation of a Web-based XML/EDI system that is a core component for the electronic commerce. The constructed XML/EDI system in this paper is comprised of document generation module, document storage module, document search module, document management module, template document management module and e-mail transmission module. Requirements and design goal of XML/EDI system are introduced, detailed functionalities of modules and design facts are described and execution and execution procedures of the implemented system are explained.

In this paper, we introduce the design and development of a web-based workflow management system. The goal of the developed system is to manage business processes occurring in the CITIS (Contractor Integrated Technical Information Services) environment. The system is composed of three main modules: Process Designer, Workflow Engine, and Client modules. The Process Designer is a module that provides the environment for the build-time function, which generates the specifications of processes. The module presents the capability of defining nested process models, which is powerful in particular for designing complex processes. Since the other two modules are implemented using pure Java technology, the Workflow Engine can be implemented on any platform and the Client programs can be accessed via the WWW interface. This indicates that there is no need to install any client programs at the client-sides. Users who has a connection to the internet with web browsers, such as Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator, and has a proper right of access can utilize the normal client, monitoring client, and system administration client programs. Communications between the workflow engine and the clients are implemented using the java servlet mechanism. The workflow system can serve as the underlying platform of process management tool in CALS and CITIS environments. An example scenario of using the system is presented.

Due to the development of new digital technologies in recent years, consumers play different roles with compared to the past. Though they used to consume various existing contents, nowadays they have opportunities to use in user-friendly environment which can make them create and share their own contents. Under this circumstance, the digital storytelling has become a big issue in large area, and the web-based contents have been produced with diverse contests. In fact, the digital storytelling means a kind of storytelling method which is made by digital technologies and has been created under various circumstances. However, many researches concern that the digital storytelling is just applied for moving from analog to digital in terms of a tool, but in the reality it is far from the web 2.0 with collective intelligence. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a web-based collaborative digital storytelling platform that analysis user's action processes and components applying collective intelligence.

In Korea Basic Science Institute(KBSI) the remote data analysis system is developed for the joint use of advanced equipments. This system enables the researchers to access the datas which are produced at KBSI and analyse them by Java program on the Web,. Except Web browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator no additional softwares are required for analysing data. We have developed remote data analysis systems for five major equipments which KBSI supports for the researchers, The systems which are developed are those for NMR spectrometer High Reso-lution Tandem mass Spectrometer Microscopic Imaging System DNA Sequencer and Natural Ra-dioactivity Measruement System, These programs work on any computer platform and any operat-ing system only if the internet is available. This remote data analysis system will be served as a part of Collaboratory the remote collaborative system.

The objective of this study is to implement geological functions on the Internet such as the visualization, search and analysis of geological data. To improve their performance and reduce the cost during development, special concerns should be given to the dynamic integration and interoperability of them. XML Web Service technologies can be adopted and OpenGIS specifications should be considered for the integration of distributed GIS components and their interoperability. Because standard Internet protocols and XML Messages are used in the Web Service, it makes the integration among different hardware and software systems possible. OpenGIS specifications also enable users to get benefits from geographic information and services across any network, platform and application. A prototype of efficient Internet GIS applications has been suggested in this study.

This paper discussed actualizing cyber education at the university education. First of all, I discussed the necessity of education based on the multimedia and web according to the change of loaming environment caused by development of technology. I discussed the Cyber education that are important application at university education. Next, I proposed the important elements that are required in constructing the Cyber education. Also, we discussed the structure and platform of Cyber education. Also, I reviewed the foreign and domestic Cyber education based on the multimedia and Web. Finally, I proposed the direction of future Cyber education.

Embedded system is used a lot in electric home appliances and home network equipment. However, this system is designed to operate by the system operator directly at home and operator could find out them only when he pays attention to the system in case event happens. In this paper, to improve above things, it designed to remote-control system anywhere in which internet access is possible as well as at home, and also it designed SMS(short message service) information transmission system to inform the errors to the operator when they happen. To design the system, development board(be included the Strong Arm), CDMA module, and electric door lock are used as hardware, and web browser, CGI(common gateway interface) programming, and C-language are used for implementation of software in embedded-linux platform.

Traditional web-based services that require users to browse via documents and fill out forms, are difficult to use with mobile devices. Moreover, as the web paradigm assumes active clients, further complications are introduced in cases where the server is the active entity, instead of the client. This paper presents a Server-Centric Interaction Architecture (SCIA) for wireless applications. The architecture enables servers to initiate communication with clients as well as push secure targeted data to them, in a piecemeal fashion. It further enables the development of highly collaborative wireless services with interactive user interfaces.
