The area of business applications in the internet are extended enormously in result of fast development of computing and communication technologies, increase of internet use, and use of intranet/extranet in enterprise information system. Widely spread the use of the internet, there are various applications for Business to Business (B to B) or Business to Customer(B to C) model that are based on the intranet or extranet. This paper designed and implemented the Web-based Electronic Bidding System for Business to Business (B to B) model. The technical issues of electronic bidding system in the internet are involved in the connection between web client and server, electronic data interchange for the contract document, and security solution during the bidding and contracting processes. The web-based electronic bidding system in this paper is implemented using Java applet and servlet as a connection interface for web client and server, XML/EDI-based documents for a bid and a contract, and bidding server and notary server for enhancing the security using PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)-based public key cryptography, digital signature and Certification Authority(CA).

To support business services interoperation, the BSD (Business Service Document), which is an extension of the Web Service Description Language (WSDL) the web service specification of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) was designed. The WSDL presents comprehensive standards for the interoperability of software components and W3C delegates extensions of WSDL to the users for their own purposes and objectives. In this article, BSD Creator, which can generate well-formed and valid BSDs, was designed and implemented. Also, the BSD Operation Pilot System where service providers can publish BSD specification documents and service users can search for services, was implemented and presented. BSD Creator and the BSD Operation Pilot System, which are the outcomes of this study, were assessed for their quality and usefulness using ISO/IEC 9126. The outcomes of this paper will be the basis on which industry groups can construct a Business Services Interoperation System, and are expected to contribute to the revitalization of business service interoperation.

In this paper, we suggested a model that reflects the role played by the consumer's regulatory focus (promotion focus and prevention focus) as determinant factors of trust in the Web site. Also, we considered the moderating effects of consumers' purchasing experience toward online shopping. We conducted a two-month survey of 230 individuals using online shopping sites for hypotheses testing. The study results are summarized as follows. Firstly, promotion focused consumers showed higher trust to a web site compared to prevention focused consumers. Secondly, the moderating effect of purchasing experience between regulatory focus and consumer trust to a web site is statistically significant. The effect of a prevention focused consumers on consumer trust to a web site is stronger when purchasing experience toward online shopping is high compared to low. Based on these findings, this study presents practical and academic implications of the research.

웹기반 교육 시스템의 경우 학습자간의 상호작용이 교육적 교류와 사회성을 증진하는데 도움을 주기 때문에 인터넷을 통하여 상호작용을 증진하는 방법이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 학습자의 상호작용 향상을 위한 웹기반 문제중심학습(PBL) 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 실제 웹기반 PBL 수업에서 설계된 상호작용 증진 방안이 PBL 활동에 어떤 영향을 미치고, 학생들이 웹기반 PBL 학습경험을 어떻게 인식하는지 조사하였다. 실험결과 제안한 시스템이 학습자들의 자기 주도적 학습과 정과 상호작용을 촉진하는 것으로 확인되었다.

4D printing is a method that manufactures a programmed transformable 3d printed components that can be transformed in a pre-designed environment. We propose a service-oriented web architecture for supporting 4D printing system. Service model is classified under four kinds of functions: design, sharing, application and production. We designed RESTful web APIs for these functions. Some preliminary designs about the web API architecture and data modeling is discussed.

The present paper aims to explore the role of non-negotiated input and output in language acquisition in the context of free Web chat. In order to examine how input and output contribute to language acquisition, with or without meaning negotiation, the present study examined a Korean EFL learner's chat data collected over 6 months. Chat texts across 43 chat sessions were analyzed, along with her comment notes and interviews. The input and output negotiated for meaning were traced throughout all sessions to find evidence that they were linked to acquisition. Other input and output in the interaction were also traced to ascertain if they contributed to acquisition. The chat text analysis, comment notes, and the interviews revealed that the opportunities of meaning negotiation in a free Web chat context was quite limited and that the learner acquired language even in the absence of meaning negotiation. The findings suggest that input and output via Web chat, whether negotiated or non-negotiated, play their respective roles, contributing to different aspects of acquisition.

A Web-based dynamic simulation system, called O-DYN, for multibody dynamic systems is developed. All the interfaces of the system are accessible via Web browsers, such as Netscape or Explorer. The system uses a block-diagram type O-DYN/Modeler developed in JAVA Applet as a preprocessor. The O-DYN postprocessor composed of O-DYN/Plotter and O-DYN/Animator is developed in JAVA Applet. The O-DYN/Solver for predicting the dynamic behavior is run on the server. Anyone who wants to simulate the dynamics of multibody systems or share results data can access the analysis system over the Internet regardless of their OS, platform, or location.

As the use of world wide web is increasing, the number of connections to servers is increasing also. These interactions increase the load of networks and servers. therefore efficient caching strategies for web documents are needed to reduce server load and network traffics by migrating copies of server files closer to the clients that use those files. As One idea of caching policy, we propose a Weighted Disk Cache Replacement Policy(WDCRP) which analyses user's interaction to WWW and adds weight value to each web document. Especially the WDCRP takes account of the history data of cache log, the characteristics of Web requests and the importance of user interactive-actions.

This research is about the design of an opinion drawing and analysis system through statistical based Web Mining of web contents, where data of opinions are automatically drawn and analyzed concerning web documents that are scattered around in various web sites that exist within the internet. Furthermore, provides a search service that can easily classify positive/negative opinions and also provide searching and statistical information. Users, who want to search for opinions, can input a specific keyword to observe opinions of others easily. In addition, there is a merit in materializing the monitoring system.

Because of advanced control technology, Shop floor control system of various kinds of equipment and machinery need a web based remote monitoring to control process efficiently. This paper presents the development of Operation Control System. Operation Control System(OCS) is based on intelligent web monitoring, so that OCS is improved the working condition for the line of heat treatment process and the product's quality. The developed OCS is consisted of Atmega128(MCU) based on embedded system, running the data logging of the line of heat treatment process. Web monitoring system is based on CS8900 ethernet controller and TCP/IP for remote monitoring responsibility between a server and clients and controlling the progress of entire system. The developed OCS is implemented on the line of heat treatment process and shows the improvement of environment condition, product's quality and efficiency of process line.
