In this study, We introduce the process of web usage mining, which has lately attracted considerable attention with the fast diffusion of world wide web, and explain the web log data, which Is the main subject of web usage mining. Also, we illustrate some real examples of analysis for web log data and look into practical application of web usage mining for eCRM.

오늘날 많은 서비스 지원이 웹 사이트를 통해 제공되고 있다. 웹 사이트의 이용 및 효율성을 최적화하기 위하여 방문자들의 이용 패턴 분석이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 BPI Challenge 2016에서 제공하는 웹 사이트 접속 로그를 분석하여 이용 패턴 분석 및 이용자 그룹별 비교 분석 연구를 수행하였다. 이 데이터는 네덜란드 고용보험사(UWV)의 IT 시스템의 웹 사이트 접속 로그를 제공하며, 고객의 인적 정보, 해당 기관의 웹 사이트를 사용할 때의 고객 행동을 설명하는 클릭 데이터 등의 대한 정보를 포함하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 프로세스 마이닝 기법을 이용하여 사용 고객의 사용 패턴과 고객 그룹 간 특징을 분석하여, 궁극적으로 웹 서비스를 이용하는 고객들을 대상으로 서비스 품질을 향상시키고자 한다.

The World Wide Web (WWW) has continued to grow at very rapid speed in both the sheer volume of traffic and size and the complexity of Web sites. Web Analytics Industry also has been growing rapidly. Web Analytics is to analyze web log files to discover accessing patterns of web pages. In this paper, we identify factors which can affect the continuous usage intention of a firm using services in web analytics services and empirically validate the relationships between the identified factors. For this purpose, we analyze 174 Korea firms. The analysis results show that the satisfaction is significantly associated with service quality and switching cost and the service usage period is not significantly associated with continuous service usage intention. We measure the service quality using SERVQUAL. It turn out that two dimensions of SERVQUAL, reliability and empathy are significantly associated with satisfaction, but another dimension of SERVQUAL, responsibility, is not. Finally, satisfaction is significantly associated with continuous service usage intention.

웹 사용 마이닝(Web usage mining)은 웹 로그 파일(web log file)이나 웹 사용 데이터(Web usage data)에서 의미 있는 정보를 찾아내는 연구 분야이다. 웹 사용 마이닝에서 일반적으로 많이 사용하는 웹 로그 파일은 사용자들이 참조한 페이지의 단순한 리스트들이다. 따라서 단순히 웹 로그 파일만을 이용하는 방법만으로는 사용자가 참조했던 페이지의 내용을 반영하여 분석하는데에는 한계가 있다. 이러한 점을 개선하고자 본 논문에서는 페이지 위주가 아닌 웹 페이지가 포함하고 있는 내용(아이템)을 고려하는 새로운 퍼지 카테고리 기반의 웹 사용 마이닝 기법을 제시한다. 또한 사용자를 잘 파악하기 위해서 시간에 따라 관심의 변화를 파악하는 방법을 제시한다.

Application of data mining techniques to the world wide web, referred to as web mining, has been the focus of several recent researches. With the explosive growth of information sources available on the world wide web, it has become increasingly necessary to track and analyze their usage patterns. In this study, we introduce a process of pre-processing and cluster analysis on web log data and suggest a distance measure considering the structural relationships between web contents. Also, we illustrate some real examples of cluster analysis for web log data and look into practical application of web usage mining for eCRM.

There are many kinds of research on web graph, most of them are focus on the hyperlinked structure of the web graph. Well known results on the web graph are rich-get-richer phenomenon, small-world phenomenon, scale-free network, etc. In this paper, we define 3 new directed web graph, so called the Web Usage Pattern Graph (WUPG), that nodes represent web sites arid arcs between nodes represent a movement between two sites by users' browsing behavior. The data to constructing the WUPG, approximately 56,000 records, are gathered from some users' PCs. The results analysing the data summarized as follows : (i) extremely rich-get-richer phenomenon (ii) average path length between sites is significantly less than the previous one (iii) less external hyperlinks, more internal hyperlinks.

최근 인터넷상의 웹 자유게시판에 쓰여지는 글들이 비속어를 많이 사용함으로써 인터넷 역기능의 대표적인 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 웹 게시판에서 사용되는 비속어에 대한 실태 파악을 통해 비속어가 쓰여진 단어나 문장을 기술적으로 차단하는 방법론을 개발하고자 한다. 이는 크게 세 단계로 나누어 개발이 진행된다. 첫째가 비속어 사용 실태 및 이를 차단키 위한 알고리즘의 개발, 둘째가 비속어의 정도 차이를 파악키 위한 구체적이고 방대한 설문조사의 수행, 셋째가 이를 프로그램하여 실제 웹 상에서 비속어가 어느 정도 효과적으로 차단이 가능한지에 대한 시스템 구현 등으로 나누어진다. 본 논문은 이 같은 전체 시스템 중 첫째 단계인 웹 게시판에서의 비속어 사용 실태와 이를 해결키 위한 알고리즘 개발 부분에 대해 다루고자 한다.

현재의 웹 규모는 과거와 비교할 수 없을 만큼 복잡해지고 사용자의 패턴 또한 다양해지고 있다. 웹에 대한 공격은 점차 증가하고 있으며 이에 대한 탐지는 점점 어려워지고 있다. 이러한 웹사이트의 효과적인 관리를 위하여 시각화를 통한 사용자들의 사용패턴과 보안 측면에서 이상행위 발생에 대한 신속하고 적절한 정보전달이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 필요성에 기반을 두어 웹 서버의 access log를 분석하여 웹 사용 현황과 이상행위에 대한 효율적인 실시간 시각화를 위한 요구사항을 제안하고 이를 만족시키기 위해 SAD Viewer라는 툴을 개발하였다. 그리고 실제 시그네춰 위반 공격, DoS 공격, 코드레드 공격, Whisker 공격에 대한 실험을 통하여 구현된 Viewer가 효율적으로 사용자들의 사용패턴과 이상행위를 시각화함을 보여주었다.

This paper investigates the issue of performance testing on web browsing environments. Among the typical non-functional characteristics, index of link validity will be deeply explored. A framework to certify link correctness in web site is proposed. All possible navigation paths are first formulated to represent a usage model with the Markov chain property, which is then used to generate test script file statistically. With collecting any existing failure information followed by tracing these testing browsed paths, certification analysis may be performed by applying Markov chain theory. The certification result will yield some significant information such as: test coverage, reliability measure, confidence interval, etc. The proposed mechanism may provide not only completed but also systemic methodologies to find any linking errors and other web technologies errors. Besides, an actual practice of the proposed approach to a web-based system will be demonstrated quantitatively through a certification tool.

최근에 인터넷을 통한 의약품 정보가 범람하고 있다. 그러나 지금까지 일반인들이 웹페이지를 통하여 의약품 정보를 검색하는 패턴과 획득하는 방법에 대한 연구 결과가 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 의약품 정보를 제공하는 특정 회사의 웹 로그 파일을 WiseLog 툴을 사용하여 분석하였다. 특히 사용자 유형에 따른 웹페이지 사용 형태와 웹페이지 메뉴 사용 형태, 그리고 검색 메뉴 사용 형태의 3가지에 대한 웹 로그 파일 통계 결과 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과 인터넷에서의 의약품 정보를 제공하는 회사들을 위한 보완 및 개선 방안들을 제시하였다.
