Background: Work-related stress is one of the major causes of occupational ill health. In line with the regulatory framework on occupational health and safety (OSH), adequate models for assessing and managing risk need to be identified so as to minimize the impact of this stress not only on workers' health, but also on productivity. Methods: After close analysis of the Italian and European reference regulatory framework and workrelated stress assessment and management models used in some European countries, we adopted the UK Health and Safety Executive's (HSE) Management Standards (MS) approach, adapting it to the Italian context in order to provide a suitable methodological proposal for Italy. Results: We have developed a work-related stress risk assessment strategy, meeting regulatory requirements, now available on a specific web platform that includes software, tutorials, and other tools to assist companies in their assessments. Conclusion: This methodological proposal is new on the Italian work-related stress risk assessment scene. Besides providing an evaluation approach using scientifically validated instruments, it ensures the active participation of occupational health professionals in each company. The assessment tools provided enable companies not only to comply with the law, but also to contribute to a database for monitoring and assessment and give access to a reserved area for data analysis and comparisons.

This paper focuses on developing a smartphone-based mobile office system for a logistics company in Korea using HTML5. Mobile office is smart working environment of working out of a company office using mobile devices such as smartphones and portable computers which are connected to the company servers via WiFi or 3G/4G. Recently many companies are introducing mobile office information systems with the smartphone wave, but they are having difficulties in maintaining and updating their systems due to the transformative mobile application platform. Therefore, we need a platform-independent implementation tools for the mobile office application and HTML5 is one of the solution tools. In this paper, we develop mobile and web applications applicable to all kinds of mobile devices such as iOS, android and windows mobile etc using HTML5. The proposed mobile office system consists of groupware, marketing management, reporting module and transportation management system.

XML is a data-oriented language to represent all types of documents including web documents. By means of the advent of XML-based document generation tools and grow of proprietary XML documents using those tools and translation from legacy data to XML documents at an accelerating pace, we have been gotten a large amount of differently-structured XML documents. Therefore, it is more and more important to retrieve the right documents from the document set. But, previous works on XML have mainly focused on the storage and retrieval methods for a large XML document or XML documents had a same DTD. And, researches that supported the structural difference did not efficiently process path queries on the document set. To resolve the problem, we suggested a new inverted index mechanism using RDBMS and proved it outperformed the previous works. And especially, as it showed the higher efficiency in indirect containment relationship, we argues that the index structure is fit for the differently-structured XML document set.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare the changes in hospital accreditation evaluations, the changes in hospital building design guidelines, and the development of design indicators for reducing medical accidents in the state-of-the-art healthcare providers. Methods: The changes and tools were carefully investigated and compared that had been taken place and used in the building certification standards, design guidelines, and patient safety design standards to reduce accidents in the United States and the United Kingdom. Results: First, medical accidents are recognized as multiple defense layers rather than personal ones, and a public reporting and learning system is created, reporting the accidents in question publicly and suggesting ways to improve them based on the data at a time. Second, for the accreditation institute that secures the service quality of medical institutions, detailed standards for patient safety are continuously updated with focus on clinical trials. The United States is in charge of the private sector, but on the other hand the United Kingdom is in charge of the public sector. Third, the design guidelines are provided as web-based tools that complement various guidelines for patient safety, and are improved and developed as well. Fourth, detailed approaches are continuously developed and provided to secure patient safety and reduce medical accidents through appropriate research, evidence-based design and strict evaluations. Implications: When medical institutions make efforts to strength patient safety methods through valid design standards, accidents are expected to decrease, whereby hospital finances are also to be improved. A higher level of medical quality service will sure be secured through comprehensive certification evaluation.

Students can successfully connect with one another thanks to the introduction of Web 2.0 and the tools and technology linked with it. The fact that rising digital tools are systematically influencing the education system is not a secret. The purpose of the research article efficiently evaluates the influence of incorporation of media in the activities of the scientific library of the higher education institution. The research Methodology is the Concepts, techniques, and procedures to effectively inculcate primary and secondary data to conduct the research effortlessly. It's worth noting that in this case, quantitative primary research was provided in the form of a survey. The researchers have proposed a survey in order to successfully instil a comprehensive view on the "incorporation of media in the operations of the scientific library of higher education institutions." As a result, fifty-one higher education institution principals were asked to attend this session. This is necessary to understand that they are both well-educated and cognizant of the impact of technology innovation on schooling. As a result, the researchers were able to gain a comprehensive view of this situation thanks to this survey. The results effectively showed that most of the participants believe that social media plays a vital role in shaping up higher education and at the same time they believe that the libraries of famous educational institutions must adapt as per the new educational trend so that teachers and students both can tap into its benefit.The practical significance of the result is manoeuvred by the efficient survey analysis and at the same time, peer-reviewed journals have been employed to put forward authentic information. Therefore, efficient insight regarding this topic has been gathered by the researchers.

Assistive technologies are necessary for ensuring independent living and equal participation in an information-based society for people living with disabilities (PLWD). This study investigated the assistive technology preference of students with visual disabilities, and the approach academic libraries should adopt in procuring assistive technologies. The study adopted a quantitative research method, with a survey as the research design. The study was conducted among visually disabled students in four public universities in Nigeria. Using the total enumeration method, an online questionnaire was used to obtain information from 151 students who voluntarily agreed to partake in the survey. The study found that access to electronic resources, scanning/conversion of print resources to electronic formats and access to information on the Web were among the technology-based services provided to visually disabled students. COBRA, ZoomText, Supernova and Dragon Naturally Speaking are the most preferred assistive technologies (software). At the same time, handheld scanners ($\bar{x}=4.40$) and braille keyboards ($\bar{x}=4.60$) are the most preferred assistive technologies in the hardware category by visually challenged students. The study further revealed that the library management should consult with students living with a visual disability before procuring assistive technology. Findings from this study thus provide further evidence of the need for librarians to fulfil their moral and legal obligation in advocating the provision of assistive technologies. Library administrators and university stakeholders should expedite actions on meeting the assistive technology needs of people living with visual disabilities. These actions should transcend mere policy formulation on the provision of assistive technologies to restructuring their services and spaces to accommodate assistive technologies as information service delivery tools for people with visual disabilities.

The Internet of Things is a technology that makes it possible for objects made up of hardware and software to exchange information with one another via the Internet, thereby facilitating the servitization of the objects. An IoT service, which is composed of an IoT device and a web service, has recently been applied to the marketing field and is being used as a means to meet customer needs. However, applying appropriate marketing elements to IoT services is not easy. Therefore, analysis tools are needed to properly apply marketing elements to IoT services. This study aims to construct an analysis model for marketing evaluation of IoT services. In this study, the technical elements and marketing elements of IoT were derived through a literature review, and the analysis model for marketing evaluation of IoT services was established by exploring the relationship between the elements based on a service blueprint. We also applied real cases to verify the analytical model. This study is expected to contribute to the development of tools for evaluating IoT services.

An eco-CMF design process is vital to the sustainable development of fashion products concerning both emotional and physical quality factors, thus extending the use phase of the product life cycle. Life cycle assessment (LCA) is widely used in other fields to evaluate environmental impact; However, the method is rarely adopted in fashion. While cooperating with design, technology, and the users, reflecting the CMF design process is an excellent approach to the sustainable development of fashion products. Moreover, it is likely to evoke favorable reactions in users toward products. Therefore, this study aimed to review the sustainable design strategies associated with CMF in the fashion industry. Using a systematic review, 135 papers that met the inclusion criteria were examined from peer-reviewed journal articles published between 1990 and 2022. They contained specific design processes or tools relevant to eco-CMF design. The search used the Web of Science database. After a rigorous search, the final six peer-reviewed journal articles were selected and underwent thorough content reviews. Then, the CMF design tools and frameworks for eco-design featured in the articles were carefully reviewed and analyzed. Finally, we proposed practical guidelines for the sustainable development of eco-CMF design in the fashion industry. The study outcomes revealed the need for concrete eco-CMF design processes, particularly for fashion products. Furthermore, more active research involving eco-CMF design processes for the sustainable environmental impact of fashion products is required.

In this paper, we have investigated the education effect of a web-based virtual laboratory for digital logic circuits which consists of multimedia contents about the usages of equipments for logic circuit experiments and the experimental logic circuits. In case of the engineering experiment of the lower grades in universities, preunderstanding about the usages of experimental equipments and the experimental circuits is necessary for the learners to conduct the experiments well. But it is impossible for the learners to have access to the real experimental equipments earlier due to the lack of equipments and the difficulty in management of the equipments. We have implemented the digital logic circuit virtual laboratory which provides the same experimental environment as a real experimental lab, and the learner can conduct the same experiments as the real ones before the real laboratory class. The learners using the laboratory have reduced the experiment completion time by the average of about 8.2% during a term, compared with the learners not using the lab.

The cyber university, which authoring systems for digital contents using multimedia technologies ate used for its courses, is highlighted to be a promising alternative for the current off-line education system. As the demand for the authoring system is constantly increasing, many systems, which emphasize the developers' convenience only, are currently used. Since the generated digital contents using these systems are failed to draw the learners' active interaction with contents, the new authoring system is expected to be existed. This paper presents, develops, and implements the new contents authoring system by using programing languages and/or software tools based on the storyboard. The presented, developed, and implemented system mimics the face-to-face education in off-line system, induces the users' active interaction with contents, and the effective evaluation system to the users.
