A XML/EDI System for Maritime Export Customs Clearance

  • Korean government and companies have given a lot of their efforts to exchange electronic documents between themselves and their partners. As the results of them. Korean EDI standards were made by Korean EDIFACT Committee and the standards have been used by companies and governmental organization in Korea. However, Korean export customs clearance EDI system is based on VAN(Value Added Network) and one VAN company ha monopolistic right to relay EDI documents to Korean Customs Service. Therefor is leads to a lot of problems such as inconvenient software, expensive transmission fee and the difficulty of connection with the in-house systems of user companies. To solve these problems, a few good solutions and systems have been suggested and one of them is the Internet EDI. we will suggest a new export customs clearance EDI system running on the Web. This system is basically an Internet EDI system, but we have developed this system using XML instead of HTML, XML is a new markup language with merit such as isolating data from style of documents. This system consists of 7 modules, schema/style/template management, XML/EDI document management, XML/EDI transformation, EDI transmission, certification management and log management. Also this system can be used with other traditional EDI systems that have UN/EDIFACT standards. We will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of XML/EDI system for customs clearance. The development of this system will be a leading study for XML/EDI standards in export clearance EDI system.

Welfare Interface using Multiple Facial Features Tracking (다중 얼굴 특징 추적을 이용한 복지형 인터페이스)

  • We propose a welfare interface using multiple fecial features tracking, which can efficiently implement various mouse operations. The proposed system consist of five modules: face detection, eye detection, mouth detection, facial feature tracking, and mouse control. The facial region is first obtained using skin-color model and connected-component analysis(CCs). Thereafter the eye regions are localized using neutral network(NN)-based texture classifier that discriminates the facial region into eye class and non-eye class, and then mouth region is localized using edge detector. Once eye and mouth regions are localized they are continuously and correctly tracking by mean-shift algorithm and template matching, respectively. Based on the tracking results, mouse operations such as movement or click are implemented. To assess the validity of the proposed system, it was applied to the interface system for web browser and was tested on a group of 25 users. The results show that our system have the accuracy of 99% and process more than 21 frame/sec on PC for the $320{\times}240$ size input image, as such it can supply a user-friendly and convenient access to a computer in real-time operation.

  • In this paper, we design a semantic-based syllabus template including learning ontologies. A syllabus has been considered as a important blueprint of teaching in universities. However, the current syllabus has no importance in real world because most of all syllabus management systems provide simple functionalities such as, creation, modification, and retrieval. In this paper, our approach consists of definition of hierarchical structure of syllabus and semantic relationships of syllabuses, formalization of learning goals, learning activity, and learning evaluation using Bloom's taxonomy and design of learning subject ontologies for improving the usability of syllabus. We prove the correctness of our proposed methods according to implementing a real syllabus for JAVA programing course and experiments for retrieving syllabuses.

  • This paper proposes automatic generation method of proxy client code to automation of web service selection process through a monitoring agent. The technique of this paper help service consumer to provide source code of proxy client as it bring an attribute value of specific element of WSDL document using template rule. Namely, a XSLT script file provide code frame of dynamic invocation interface model. The automatic code generation technique need to solving starvation status of selection architecture. It is required to creating request HTTP message for every service on the result of search. The created proxy client program code generate dummy message about services. The proposed client code generation method show us a possibility of application in the automatic generation programming domain.

  • Recent increase in the number of websites as one of the most used communication channels beyond just for promotion has led to the increased need for integrated management for member websites, as well as brand sharing among websites. Studies on how to deal with website authorship issues more efficiently has been ongoing since early 2000. However, these studies have mostly dealt with single website management and were not applicable to authoring and management related issues for centralized platform for multiple websites. This study intends to design a management platform for authoring and managing of centralized websites in the education field, utilizing various designs while building websites.

  • It is difficult to merge text document and to remake use of documents on the most collaborative document authoring system using text document, and also to provide the storage place for saving and keeping documents. It has vulnerable drawbacks about the security though it provides the accessible abilities due to basing it on Web. In this paper, we design and implementation the collaborative document authoring system for XML document to improve a couple of problems on these systems. For these, we based on the DOM to manipulate the modeling object documents and utilized RMI on this system without considering socket communication when it transmits and receives Java objects. We improved the security through processes of authentication. By providing templates and editing functions such as annotation, visualization of document structures, we made easier making collaborative document authoring more than ever.

내용기반 웹 서비스 검색 엔진의 개발

  • 웹 서비스는 사용자가 다양한 인터페이스 정의와 교환 메시지 형식을 가지는 서비스를 개발하는데 있어 보다 효과적이고 단일화된 방법을 제공한다. 웹 서비스에서 인터페이스 정의와 교환 메시지 형식은 WSDL 통해 정의되며, 이 WSDL 문서를 통해 이용할 서비스의 인터페이스와 교환 메시지 형식을 파악하여 빠르게 해당 서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 한다. 이러한 웹 서비스의 등록과 검색을 위해서는 레지스트리 방식을 이용한다. 개발된 서비스에 관한 설명 정보는 서비스 제공자에 의해 작성되어 레지스트리에 등록되며, 서비스 요청자는 레지스트리로부터 필요한 서비스를 검색하여 이용한다. UDDI는 웹 서비스를 위한 분산 레지스트리 표준으로 웹 서비스를 위한 등록과 검색 메커니즘을 제공한다. UDDI에서 지원하는 검색 메커니즘은 크게 키워드 검색과 비즈니스와 서비스에 대한 카테고리별 검색으로 구분된다. 키워드 기반 검색은 SQL LIKE 연산을 통해 비즈니스와 서비스의 이름에 대하여 부분 문자열이 일치하는지 검사하는 방식으로 이루어진다. 이러한 UDDI 의 키워드 기반 검색은 등록된 서비스의 이름 이외의 내용 정보에 대한 검색을 지원하지 못하므로 효과적인 검색을 지원하지 못하는 단점을 가진다. 또한 UDDI는 WSDL 문서의 내용에 대한 검색은 지원하지 못하는 단점을 가진다. 이에 따라 현대의 서비스 검색은 서비스의 이름에 대한 검색만을 지원한다. 이러한 현재의 웹 서비스 검색에서의 문제점을 해결하기 위해서는 UDDI 에 등록된 설명 정보와 WSDL 문서 모두에 대한 내용 기반의 검색을 지원하고 검색 결과를 순위화 (ranking)하여 제시할 수 있는 검색 엔진이 요구된다. 이 논문은 이러한 문제점들을 해결할 수 있도록 내용 기반 검색을 지원할 수 있는 웹 서비스를 위 한 검색 엔진을 제안한다. 제안한 검색 엔진은 UDDI 등록 정보에 대하여 내용 기반 검색을 수행할 수 있도록 벡터 공간 모델을 활용한 유사도 비교 방법을 이용한다. 또한 UDDI 등록 정보 외에 실질 적인 서비스의 인터페이스와 교환 메시지 형식에 대한 비교의 수행을 위하여 WSDL 문서에 대한 유사도 비교를 수행한다. 유사도 측정시 UDDI 등록 정보와 WSDL 문서와 같은 계층적인 문서 구조를 검색 결과에 반영할 수 있는 방법을 지원한다. 지원하는 검색 방법은 두 가지로 키워드 검색과 함께 텀플릿 검색을 지원한다. 템플릿 검색은 서비스의 등록 정보 외에 인터페이스 정의가 얼마나 일치하는지를 비교하기 위해 WSDL 문서에 대한 유사도를 비교할 수 있도록 한다. 이러한 검색의 지원을 통해 제안한 웹 서비스를 위한 검색 엔진은 기존의 레지스트리를 이용한 검 색 방법보다 정확한 검색 결과를 제공한다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to quickly identify school parents, teachers, students, community needs and opinions for curriculum organizing and the implementation of an online survey system for operating educational activities. Online survey system should be implemented based on Limesurvey to reduce costs and administrative costs. Limesurvery is available without the development of the separate program and offers the form of web-based template system, complete design, layout. Also, Limesurvey offers basic statistical analysis of survey data. Limesurvey can be executed by installing the program on a web hosting, typing database information. Limesurvey can be made a graph of the statistical results. Besides, Limesurvery can be stored in the form of HTML, Word, Excel, CSV Files and can be stured as basic datas for SPSS or PASW, R data, other statistical processing programs. If we could be operate Limesurvey in the form of open source-based survey program in elementary school, we could be reduced teacher's unnecessary work for statistics and overcame the problem of offline survey system.

Development of an AI Model to Determine the Relationship between Cerebrovascular Disease and the Work Environment as well as Analysis of Consistency with Expert Judgment (뇌심혈관 질환과 업무 환경의 연관성 판단을 위한 AI 모델의 개발 및 전문가 판단과의 일치도 분석)

  • Introduction: Acknowledging the global issue of diseases potentially caused by overwork, this study aims to develop an AI model to help workers understand the connection between cerebrocardiovascular diseases and their work environment. Materials and methods: The model was trained using medical and legal expertise along with data from the 2021 occupational disease adjudication certificate by the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance and Prevention Service. The Polyglot-ko-5.8B model, which is effective for processing Korean, was utilized. Model performance was evaluated through accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and F1-score metrics. Results: The model trained on a comprehensive dataset, including expert knowledge and actual case data, outperformed the others with respective accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and F1-scores of 0.91, 0.89, 0.84, and 0.87. However, it still had limitations in responding to certain scenarios. Discussion: The comprehensive model proved most effective in diagnosing work-related cerebrocardiovascular diseases, highlighting the significance of integrating actual case data in AI model development. Despite its efficacy, the model showed limitations in handling diverse cases and offering health management solutions. Conclusion: The study succeeded in creating an AI model to discern the link between work factors and cerebrocardiovascular diseases, showcasing the highest efficacy with the comprehensively trained model. Future enhancements towards a template-based approach and the development of a user-friendly chatbot webUI for workers are recommended to address the model's current limitations.
