The purpose of this study is to investigate EU, UK and USA's laws and standards related to safety criteria for commercial kitchen machines. The study was based on literature survey and web surfing. The results revealed that EU has relevant directives by kitchen machines and harmonized standards according to the directives. The directives and harmonized standards are translated into the laws and standards of EU member countries, respectively. The kitchen facility relevant legal systems of UK and USA do not prescribe the safety devices or measures, but only the basic health and safety requirements. The requirements were forcefully implemented through the certificate systems such as CE(Confommite European), UL(Underwriters Laboratories), etc. Only products with CE, UL or NRTL(ationally Recognized Testing Laboratory) certificate marking can be placed on the market of EU and USA, or put into service. For achieving the certificates, all requirements regulated in the relevant standards should be met. The standards of UK and USA were presented by kitchen machines or by standards themselves, respectively. Safety devices required by the standards were also summarized by kitchen machines and their risk factors.

A myriad of information production channels and medium including internet, social media, and multi media channels emerged, often with conflicting interests, disseminate unwanted and inaccurate information which could result in sudden severe public relations damage to the global companies with world class products if not dealt with in the professional way. Properly crafted and managed public relations thus should become the integral part of all organizations. In particular online public relations leadership becomes even more important to public organizations responsible for national branding and interests and to private sectors expanding into the global markets. The research aims to increase global competitiveness of the pubic and exporters by presenting the online leadership strategy 101. For this purpose, locally produced web sites are analysed both from technical and global marketing perspectives. From the research all web sites were classified into three types of ghost, wreck, and moron. The 2012 research showed that 99% was moron, followed by 67% wreck and 1% ghost. The research presents must strategies for global public relations and marketing. They include strategic planning, public relation training, white hat search engine optimization, web standards, web accessibility, mobile web site and the inbound marketing strategies.

We demonstrate workflows in biological data retrieval and analysis using the DDBJ Web Service; specifically introduce a workflow for the analysis of proteins or proteomics data sets. The workflow mechanically extracts the gene whose protein structure and function are known from all the genes of a human genome in Ensembl (http://www.ensembl.org/) based on cross-references among Ensembl, Swiss-Prot (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/swissprot) and PDB (Protein Data Bank; http://www.wwpdb.org/). The workflow discovered ‘hidden’ linkages among databases. We will be able to integrate distributed and heterogeneous data systems into workflows, if they are provided based on standards for Web services.

By introducing Web Services, distributed GIS services from different vendors can be dynamically integrated into a GIS application using the interoperable standard SOAP protocol. However, it is debatable whether SOAP can really meet the performance requirements of GIS. This paper presents an experimental evaluation of the performance of different SOAP variants: standard SOAP, SwA/MIME, and SOAP/MTOM. The objective of this paper is to demonstrate that SOAP performance in communicating large volumes of GIS data could be effectively improved by recent standards. Moreover, SOAP/MTOM is identified to be the fastest and the most efficient messaging protocol.

Due to the lack of digitally usable standards, it has been known to be difficult to handle the biological data. For example, the name of genes and proteins changes over time or has several synonyms indicating different entities. To cope with these problems, several communities, including the Gene Ontology Consortium and PubGene are making their efforts to move science toward the semantic web vision. Although some progress has been made, its expressivity is not sufficient for full-fledged ontological modeling and reasoning. This paper suggests a methodology for representing and extracting biological knowledge by using Web Ontology Language (OWL) as an extension of Resource Description Framework Schema (RDFS). Some benefits of our approach are: (1) to ensure extended sharing of biological meta data on the Web, and (2) to enrich additional expressivity and the semantics of RDFS+OWL.

Logistics creates a boom in accordance with the recent new technique's development along with the recent RFID/USN of ubiquitous computing technique. The wave of 4PL(Fourth Party Logistics) that added the strategic consulting based on new IT techniques to logistics outsourcing through existing 3PL service with is a great issue. Moreover, the customer enterprises which contained manufacturers and distributors need the one stop service, therefore a method for effectively dealing with global logistics' environment changes is needed. Above all, a development of the 4PL system with RFID is very urgent. We developed the RFID u-4PL system progressed more than the present system, in which we applied many international standards. Finally, we constructed the web service based on Web 2.0 because of important condition of 4PL.

최근 웹 표준의 준수와 웹 접근성 향상을 위한 노력이 기업체에서 뿐만 아니라 공공기관 등에서도 확산되고 있으며, 필수 요소로 자리매김하고 있는 추세이다. 인터넷을 사용하는 환경은 개인용 컴퓨터의 윈도우 기반에서 인터넷을 사용하는 환경과 시대에서 벗어나고 있다. 학생들의 인터넷 사용 환경도 핸드폰, PDA 등의 모바일 기기를 이용한 다양한 플랫폼으로 확산되고 있는 실정이며, 이에 따라 교육용 홈 페이지에서도 웹 접근성 향상을 위한 노력이 필요한 때이다. 이 논문에서는 한국형 웹 콘텐츠 접근성 지침에 대하여 알아보고, 일선 학교에서 운영하는 교육용 홈 페이지에서 웹 접근성 향상을 위한 방법으로 웹 콘텐츠 접근성 지침에 따른 평가 방법을 도입하는 방안을 제안한다.

OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium) SWE(Senser Web Enablement)는 오픈 표준 기반 서비스로써 다중 센서의 정보를 취합하여 3차원 가시화 및 분석, 편집에 활용되는 웹시스템의 표준이다. 본 연구에서는 OGC SWE의 WFS(Web Feather Service)와 유사한 오픈 표준 기반 객체정보 웹서비스 시스템을 고안하고, 실제 지하시설물을 대상으로 OGC의 City-GML을 국내 표준인 3DF-GML으로 해체하여 웹서비스 가능성을 타진하였다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 웹서비스는 향후 오픈 표준 기반 3차원 GIS 시스템 구축에 본보기가 될 것으로 기대된다.
