The rapid progress of the Internet and network is affecting the engineering design environment as well as business that use Web technologies to enhance their competitive edge. In product development, experts and organization who take part in the design process are often geographically dispersed. Furthermore, different divisions and business often have heterogeneous CAD/CAE systems and methods for expressing product data, and addressing this heterogeneity creates additional costs and increases development time. Managing distributed CAD, CAE and other related systems in an organic and holistic manner from the initial stages of product development is imperative to ensure successful collaboration in the design process. Therefore, this study suggests a Web-based MDO framework to support interfacing and collective use of design and analysis tools.

정보 매체로서 자리잡은 인터넷은 초고속정보통신망을 통한 종합정보통신망이 된다는 것은 이제 기정 사실이 되었다. 교육 분야에서도 많은 변화를 가져왔고, 점차 가르치는 교수중심에서 배우는 학습자 중심으로 변모해가고 있으며 전통적인 교실에서의 수업보다도 공간과 거리감에 구애를 받지 않는 가상공간(cyberspace)이라는 인터넷을 통하여 가상대학(cyber university)을 설립하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 급속히 변화되는 교육환경에서 교육정보서비스의 개선과 사용자중심의 디자인을 제공하기 위한 방법으로서 WDS (Web Identity Development System)을 적용한 웹사이트디자인을 개발하였다. 그리하여 WDS 적용한 웹사이트 개발 모델를 통하여 가상공간에서 보다 개선된 홈페이지디자인 개발을 위한 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

The base of an internet shopping mall is web application system. However, this mall is a market place where selling and buying of products and services take place. Therefore, it should be considered both a commerce function and a web site design function. The commerce function and the web site design function are considered as variables that influence trust and familiarity. This trust and familiarity are considered as the main factors that influence satisfaction of shoppers of internet shopping malls. Analysis indicates that the web site design function significantly influences both trust and familiarity, but the commerce function significantly influence only familiarity negatively. Also trust and familiarity significantly influence user satisfaction.

웹 기능의 향상과 웹 관련 기술의 발전, 레거시 시스템과의 통합 필요성 증대, 자주 변하는 웹 콘텐츠와 구조 등으로 인하여 웹 애플리케이션을 개발하고 관리하는 일이 과거보다 훨씬 더 복잡하게 되었다. 그러나 이러한 다양한 요인들을 고려하는 포괄적인 웹 애플리케이션 설계 방법론은 아직 존재하지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 요인들을 고려한 컨텍스트 기반의 웹 애플리케이션 설계 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 방법론에서는 웹 정보를 전달하는 메커니즘에 따라 구분되는 9 종류의 웹 페이지 형태와 웹 페이지 간의 다양한 의미 관계를 정의하는 7 종류의 링크 형태 및 설계 과정 중에 사용되는 여러 종류의 컴포넌트 역할을 구별하는 소프트웨어 컴포넌트 형태 등 다양한 종류의 모델링 기법들을 소개하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 이 방법론은 '콤펜디엄(compendium)' 이라 불리는 일단의 관련된 정보 클러스터들로 이루어진 독창적인 웹 애플리케이션 모델을 사용하고 있다. 하나의 콤펜디엄은 주제(theme), 컨텍스트 페이지, 링크 및 컴포넌트로 구성된다. 이러한 접근 방법은 모듈 방식의 설계에 유용할 뿐만 아니라 항상 변하는 웹 애플리케이션의 콘텐츠와 구조를 관리하는데도 도움이 된다. 본 연구에서 제시한 방법론은 의미적으로 응집력이 있고 구문적으로 느슨히 결합된 유연한 웹 디자인 산출물을 생성하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

Recently, various web page development tools for both the beginner and the experienced user are introduced. These tools allow them to generate web pages easily and quickly. However the web pages generated by the tools have lots of functional limitations. Generally authors must have much knowledge for web authoring tools, HTML, CGI programming to open web sites for special purpose. Especially, most of the lecture supporting web site necessarily requires much effort to construct it as well as special functions using CGI, Javascript, Java Applet, etc. to generate dynamic web pages. In order to solve above mentioned limitations, we design and implement an automatic web site construction system using RASIS based on remote execution technologies.

This study is the part of development of information management system for irrigation facilities. It describes the design and prototype presentation of WISIF(Web-based geographic Information System for Irrigation Facilities). WISIF manages the IFDB(Irrigation Facilities DataBase) and offers geographic information of irrigation facilities from IFSDB(Irrigation Facilities Spatial DataBase) through World Wide Web. GeoMedia Web Map software of Intergraph is used to offer geographic information to users. GeoMedia Web Map generates vector format, so called ActivCGM. The file generated in ActiveCGM format can be downloaded fast since its size is so small and generated as an interactive map file since its format supports hyperlink.

Recent web environment needs a web service method that can integrate the individual web service. The UDDI registry can accommodate this need by classifying the information of the web service system for an easy retrieval of the information, thus it reduces the time to find a specific web service. Using the basic information search function of the UDDI registry, the web provider can offer various types of information to the client. In this paper, we implemented the process of registering the information to the UDDI registry and retrieving the various types of information from the UDDI registry in a given format.

웹의 교육적 활용은 학생의 흥미 유발 및 자발적 참여와 아울러 시공간의 제약을 넘어 최신의 정보를 얻을 수 있다는 장점으로 최근 교육 기관으로부터 많은 관심을 끌고 있다. 웹의 자료를 검색하여 원하는 정보를 찾아 교육에 활용하기 위한 연구가 다방변에서 진행되고 있다. 웹 자료의 단순한 활용에서 한 차원 높여 보다 조직적이고 통합적인 웹 기반 프로젝트에 대해 소개한다. 웹 기반 프로젝트의 특징은 프로젝트의 주제에 대한 폭 넓은 경험, 통합 교과교육, 창의성 개발, 협동심 배양, 세계화 교육 등을 꼽을 수 있다. 본 논문은 웹을 기반으로하는 프로젝트의 운영에 대한 개념을 설명하고 그 특성을 살려 어떠한 분야에 활용 할 것인지 논의하고 웹 프로젝트 설계의 기본 구조를 제안한다.
