The proximity web 2.0 has in our daily life changes in the way we educate ourselves occur naturally. New generations of learners naturally study and utilize web 2.0 as part of general life, so they require an education method which considers this characteristic. One such method, WIKI Based Cooperation Learning has recently been studied. The object of this study is to establish any relationship between learners attitude and academic achievements when implementing WIKI Based Cooperation Learning in the subject of social studies.

Development and Evaluation of the Effectiveness of a Web-Based Learning System Program for Nursing Education on Peritoneal Dialysis Ji-Soo Yoo(Professor, College of Nursing, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea) Seong-Mi Moon(Doctoral Candidate, College of Nursing, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea) The purpose of this study was to develop a nursing education program using a web-based learning system to teach peritoneal dialysis and to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. The program was developed in two steps. The first step was to develop the content using CVI, and the second was to program it using HTML. The program which was developed was evaluated with 50 nurses of whom 48 responded to the questionnaire. The results are as follows: Of the subjects, 85.4% responded that they were satisfied with this web-based learning system and 87.5% stated that they would recommend this system to nurses who are in other nursing education programs. Of the educational material charac- teristics, the item that the subjects evaluated as most valuable was "accuracy of the content". For system related charact- eristics, the item to which the subjects gave the most positive response was "clarity of the system tool marking" (81.3%). In conclusion, it was verified that a web-based learning system is an effective and satisfactory method for nursing education.

This paper presents an investigation on the shear resistance of corrugated web steel beams (CWBs) with a circular web opening. A total of five specimens with different diameters of web openings were designed and tested with vertical load applied on the top flange at mid-span. The ultimate strengths, failure modes, and load versus middle displacement curves were obtained from the tests. Following the tests, numerical models of the CWBs were developed and validated against the test results. The influence of the web plate thickness, steel grade, opening diameter, and location on the shear strength of the CWBs was extensively investigated. An XGBoost machine learning model for shear resistance prediction was trained based on 256 CWB samples. The XGBoost model with optimal hyperparameters showed excellent accuracy and exceeded the accuracy of the available design equations. The effects of geometric parameters and material properties on the shear resistance were evaluated using the SHAP method.

We now live in a society that is highly information-oriented, and as a result programming education has become more important and is emphasized day by day. Currently, there is strong support for carrying out programming education in early childhood, and various Web-based services have launched to provide programming education. Currently, Web-based programming education services have not yet launched in Korea. In particular, Web-based education services for C language programming, which is used in various areas in industry, are lacking due to limitations in the development environments. In this paper, we design and implement a Web-based programming learning system, 'ICANC', to provide the necessary information to learn and practice the C language.

The appearnace of web technology has accelerated the development of the multimedia technology, the computer communication technology and the multimedia application contents. Researches on WBI(Web-based Instruction) system have combined the technology of the digital library and LOD,. REcently WBI(Web-based Instruction) model which is based on web has been proposed in the part of the new activity model of teaching-learning. As the demand of the customized coursewares from the lwarners is increased, the needs of the efficient and automated education agents in the web-based instruction are recognized. In this paper we propose a system monitors learner's behaviors constantly, evaluates them, and calculates his accomplishment. And the system offers suitable course to learner applying this accomplishment degree to agent's schedules. Therefore, the learner achieves an active and complete learning from the repeated and suitable course semantic-based retrieval.

Today, It has developed actively e-learning according to web without time and place which increase of PC user with super-highway information network and various up-to-date information rapid growth. It has to provide the chance to student which will be able to practice and to think free and originative under liberal learning environment that learner can compose knowledge through various thinking by themselves. From the present paper, I would design e-learning system using TGT model of cooperative e-learning system that more effective studying through advantage of e-learning studying. I look forward to helping improvement of student's real ability as embody competitive games method by TGT model's basic theory of web-based.

This paper presents an internet-based self-learning educational system which can be enhancing efficiency in the learning process of Java language. The proposed self-learning educational system is called Java Web Player(JWP), which is a Java application program and is executable through Java Web Start technologies. In this paper, three important sequential learning processes : concept learning process, programming practice process and assessment process are integrated in the proposed JWP using Java Web Start technologies. This JWP enables the learners to achieve efficient and interesting self-learning since the learning process is designed to enhance the multimedia capabilities on the basis of educational technologies. Also, online voice presentation and its related texts together with moving images are synchronized for efficient language learning process. Furthermore, a simple/useful compiler is included in the JWP for providing language practice environment such as coding, editing, executing and debugging Java source files. Finally repeated practice can make the learners to understand easily the key concepts of Java language. Simple multiple choices are given suddenly to the learners while they are studying through the JWP and the test results are displayed on the message box.

This study investigates the causal relationships among flow experience, self-directed learning readiness, internet addiction and academic achievement in web-based computer education. The gender differences in path models were also examined. The results indicated that, self-directed learning readiness has positive and direct influence on flow experience and academic achievement. And self-directed learning readiness has a negative and direct influence on internet addiction. For female students, academic achievement was positively and directly influenced by flow experience and indirectly by self-directed learning readiness. However, the mediating effect of flow experience and indirect effect of self-directed learning readiness were not significant for male students.

In spite of the fact that project-based learning has had positive effects on improvement of creation power and expansion of the spirit of inquiry, the project-based learning lesson was difficult to carry out in the classroom. The web overcomes time and space limitations in traditional schools. This study has developed and implemented an online project-based website of children's education, based upon the extensive classroom use of multimedia materials to further students participation and interest in projects of discovery. The developed website shows the entire process used through out the project. This paper presents the project's activities and students' learning, using multimedia and web. This study was conducted in fourth grade of an elementary school for a month. The results of this study suggest that the effects of using the project-based website were improved self-directed learning and generation of new ideas.

The coursewares available on the web are on active development by each country all over the world in accordance with web prevailing. Many Visual Basic language courseware is also into web-based education it is not improving the effect of learning. Hence through this study, in orer to be out of the said kind of approach, 1)by adding multimedia elements with making the best of web characteristics, 2)escalating the studying effect of learners' with experimental environment, and 3)providing proper feedbacks in assessment of learners' reactions 4)we invented web-based multimedia courseware with the technology of Real Encoder, Real Player, Active X etc. and tried adapting it to school education field on the basis of design model of professor-learning system.
