Web 2.0 has become the face next generation Web among the business world and research community. Web 2.0 is instant superficial gratification of people. On the other hand, Semantic Web is deep, meaningful and lasting relationship with data. So, it is difficult to apply the Semantic Web to the real world. In this paper, a platform for educational services using the Semantic Web and Web 2.0 is proposed. The proposed platform is based mix of the Semantic Web and Web 2.0, so it is useful to apply in the real world applications. Two services are presented, one is a semantic email system and the other is a cyber study space. The cyber study space adjusted each student is presented. The study environment is called iStudySpace that has personal scheduler, study status plan table, personalized search engine and several gadgets. Finally characteristics and limitations of the Semantic Web and Web 2.0, the organization and components of the platform, evaluation of iStudySpace are shown.

Recently the advent of web 2.0 era is an important trend in the business environmental change. Web 2.0 era means users' active participation, share, and openness, develop 'Internet penetration into everyday life,' and change many aspects of our society. web 2.0 has been making these following changes in the socioeconomic aspects: 1) acceleration of system shift to a small quantity of multi-species production system 2) growing influence of on-line channel/information to consumers 3) various minorities' power increase in the socioeconomic sector. Web 2.0 has been making these following changes in the firms' strategies for information management: 1) increase of external knowledge and information utilization 2) amplification and reproduction of information from customers 3) change of information distribution: pursuit of two-way communication with customers 4) integration of different information/services for business transformation. Firms must squarely look at socioeconomic changes owing to web 2.0, and utilize them for firms' effective information management.

With the development and invention of computer and internet, GIS (Geographic Information System) has provided diverse services to users. Web 2.0, the next generation web, has been developed to create a new business by accumulating and structuring information from many users. The characteristics of Web 2.0 are blog, longtail distribution, SNS, DCC, collective intelligence, and so on. This study proposes a GIS 2.0 service model to maximize the introduction effect and use of GIS by the method that two-way communication and the participation of consumer, characteristics of Web 2.0, are used to build more practical GIS rather than providing spatial information in one-way and simple inquiry oriented way.

A website should be developed by considering web accessibility for being possible to access the Internet without any difficulties through the Web. In order to do this, after evaluating web accessibility with targeted 15 web sites based on KWCAG 1.0 which is a guideline of Korean type web contents accessibility and WCAG 2.0 which is a guideline of W3C's web serviceability by using KADO-WAH 2.0, this paper suggests improvements of web accessibility after deriving problems of web accessibility according to a web site type.

This study examined the perception and use of web 2.0 applications for academic purposes by medical students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. The objective was to investigate the medical students' perceptions of web 2.0 applications, web 2.0 tools use, extent of use, perception and purpose for using web 2.0 applications. Descriptive survey method was used for this study. The total population of this study was 3670 and the sample size was 367 representing 10% of the study. The purposive sampling technique was adopted, and the instrument used for this study was questionnaire, a total of 367 copies were administered and 321 were found useful for the study. Percentage means and standard deviation on table and chart were used to analyze the data collected using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software. Findings showed that the perception of web 2.0 applications of medical students AAU was positive and few of web 2.0 applications were used for academic purposes. It was recommended in the study that medical students should be provided with the facilities in a format more familiar to them and used by most of them and institutions need to equip the learning process with the needed facilities which will be of utmost benefit even for future purposes.

The new paradigm called the web 2.0 recently appeared in the web environment. We pay attention to the positive effects which may be brought about by application of the web 2.0 to e-learning; we think that it can improve problem solving skills of learners and reinforce their creativity. But until now, e-learning model, which understood the web 2.0 concept completely, has been never developed. In this context, we propose the web 2.0-based e-learning platform which induces all the courses for education such as the selection of topic, preparation of lecture schedule and contents, teaching and learning, to be decided by participants. We believe that this platform can replace or supplement the e-learning of web 1.0 age, and realize the positive effects.

Recently, the mobile Internet is rapidly changing environment in a user's web server performance requires frequent connection is difficult because the proper response is needed to improve the performance of web services engine. Therefore, the goal of this paper is to improve the performance of web services for the installation of additional access to users regardless of tomcat servlet container and process the request and to shorten processing time of SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) message of the server structure to of for web mobile services. The web-sever structure is consists of user demand receiver, web document processor, SOAP protocol processor, NBTM(Non-Blocking and Thread Manager) manager, session manager. The system fully supports a standard web-service protocol, reduces the message processing time and communication overhead of mobile web-service system in Web 2.0 and overhead of server, and confirms the improvement of capability by comparing and evaluating Web 2.0 standard mobile web-service system through delaying achievement evaluation by the experiment of realization in Web 2.0 environment.

Web 2.0 환경은 지식을 일방적으로 전달하는 기존의 체제에서 벗어나 참여자들의 상호작용을 강화하여 다양한 교육적 지원을 가능하게 만들었다. 특히 다양한 멀티미디어 데이터베이스를 이용하여 스스로 학습 자료를 제작하고 공유하면서 다양한 상호작용이 가능하게 되었다. 이러한 Web 2.0 환경을 교육적으로 적용하려는 시도가 시작되고 있는 가운데 본 논문은 여러 교과 가운데서도 영어교과에 활용하는 방안을 알아보았다. 영어교과와 Web 2.0 환경이 부합하는 면을 살펴보고 기존의 멀티미디어 활용 영어교육의 장단점과 이를 극복하기 위한 Web 2.0 활용 영어교육 지도방안에 대하여 알아보았다. 그리고 영어교과에 활용할 수 있는 다양한 Web 2.0 도구들을 분류하여 이용방안을 모색하였다.

Most Hospitals develop a Medical online appointment system for u-Hospital which system based on Web Application. Web 2.0 technology has good user interface and fast response time in a web service. This paper proposed a Mobile Medical Online Appointment System using Web 2.0 Technology. This system improve the page view, convenient UI and fast response time. We test this system with evermedi, other hospital system in iwebtools service and show that it can improve the efficiency and perfomance. The proposed technology can improve the efficient mobile service because it can be extended to ubiquitous mobile application.

The internet GIS site what offered information one-sidedly by early enterpriser was changed to formation as produced and evaluate by users with paradigm of Web 2.0. We look around the existing universal evaluation model of web site and evaluation model of GIS site and propose new evaluate model of GIS site considering web 2.0. A reference point of evaluation model proposed though this study can proposal evaluation model of GIS 2.0 after develop this as a reference point of a evaluation model considering user participate rate.
