Testing Application of Web Processing Service (WPS) Standard to Satellite Image Processing (웹 처리 서비스(WPS) 표준의 위성영상 정보처리 시험 적용)

  • According to wide civilian utilization of multi sensor satellite information, practical needs for fusion processing and interoperable operation with multiple remote sensing imageries within distributed remote server are being increased. For this task, OGC standards with respect to satellite images and its derived products are crucial factors. This study is to present an applicability of WPS through testing implementation of image processing algorithm. Open sources such as Geoserver and OTB were used linked to WPS application for implementation. WPS can be solely used for web service supporting geoprocessing algorithm, but technical consideration compromising with other important standard protocols including WMS, WFS, WCS, or WMTS is necessary to build full featured geo web for remote sensing imageries. It is expected that application of these international standards for geo-spatial information is an important approach to produce value-added results by interoperable processing between interorganizations or information dissemination containing practical satellite image processing functionalities.

The Effectiveness of the Invisible Web Search Tools (Invisible Web 탐색도구의 성능 비교 및 분석)

  • This study is to investigate the characteristics of the Invisible Web and many search services designed to serve as gateways to the Invisible Web and to evaluate searching the Invisible Web in the Services. The four services for searching the Invisible Web were selected to search the Invisible Web with 11 queries, that are Google as portals, ProFusion and Search.com as Invisible Web meta search engines, and IncyWincy as Invisible Web search engines. It was found that the effectiveness of Google's Invisible Web searching was better compared with the three Invisible Web search tools but the difference between the four systems was not significant((${\alpha}$=.055) The Invisible Web meta searching was better than the Web meta searching in the three search tools at the statistically significant level. The effectiveness measurement based on the ranks and relevance degree(quality) of relevant documents retrieved seemed appropriate to the ranked search results.

  • Public key infrastructure(PKI), principle technology of the certificate, is a security technology providing functions such as identification, non-repudiation, and anti-forgery of electronic documents on the Internet. Our government and financial organizations use PKI authentication using ActiveX to prevent security accident on the Internet service. However, like ActiveX, plug-in technology is vulnerable to security and inconvenience since it is only serviceable to certain browser. Therefore, the research on HTML5 authentication system has been conducted actively. Recently, domestic bank introduced PKI authentication complying with web standard for the first time. However, it still has inconvenience to register a certification on each website because of same origin policy of web storage. This paper proposes the certificate based SSO protocol that complying with web standard to provide user authentication using certificate on several sites by going around same origin policy and its security proof.

  • In this paper, we implement the web-based education system on CMS(Contents Management System). The goal of this paper is that Everyone who uses this system will use and maintain the web site easily. All procedures can be performed on the web and all content by the manager can be applied to users. This allows both user and administrator to use the web-based education system in a better environment. This system also will try to cover all user levels by providing web standards. So more user can use the standard web service without worrying about time and space. For this reason, this system will be developed with web standard guide so that all users won't experience any problems with the browsers of primary platforms complying with W3C. This paper can provide the possibility to overcome the limitations of current web-based education system.

WEBIO Libraries for C and Prolog Languages (C 및 Prolog 언어용 웹 입출력 라이브러리)

  • Before the Internet was available, most application programs were executed using terminals, connected to host computers, as standard input output devices. The Internet is popular today and many services are provided on web browsers connected to the Internet. Since the standard I/O method used for terminals is different from the communication I/O methods used for web browsers, it is not possible to execute many application programs developed for the conventional terminals on web browsers. In this paper, we describe Web Input Output(WEBIO) library that enables application programs conventional on terminals to be executed on web browsers by recompilation without source modification. The WEBIO libraries for C and Prolog languages have been developed and they are under test now.

  • ETSI M2M Platforms provide general infra services for machine-to-machine communication. In this paper, we propose a service-level integration methodology which can integrate a ETSI M2M platform with heterogeneous web applications based on WSDL 2.0. Considered heterogeneous web applications are the ones that use SOAP, HTTP and CoAP protocols for inter-communication. The proposed WSDL 2.0-based service-level integration methodology includes the followings; (1) We present a method of how to describe standardized M2M platform service interfaces into a WSDL 2.0 document. (2) A proposed web client generator is used to generates SOAP, HTTP and CoAP client codes from the WDSL 2.0 document. (3) We propose protocol conversion proxies which translate protocols into other protocols in web service run-time.

  • 기존의 인터넷 검색 편리성을 제공하는 브라우저들은 사용자의 요구에 따라 수동적으로 움직이게 된다. 또한 RSS 와 같은 고급 검색 요구 조건을 만족시키고자 하는 노력에 비하여 사용자의 요구에 따라 능동적으로 움직이기에는 어려움이 존재한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 RSS와 같은 능동적인 정보 검색 및 제공이 가능하고, 표준 HTML2.0을 따르는 효과적인 웹 브라우저인 EasyWeb을 설계 및 구현하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 EasyWeb 브라우저는 기존의 브라우저들과 달리 표준 규격에 따라 구성하도록 HTML과 XML parsing이 가능하다. 또한 사용자의 요구에 능동적으로 정보를 수집하여 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 EasyWeb의 구현 결과를 살펴보면 향후 웹 브라우저의 나아갈 방향을 모색할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

  • In this paper, we are to overcome the latency problem of current Web 2.0 Web Services system. To overcome the standard mobile web services implementation, a SOAP message processing system (SMSP) was proposed in which the SOAP request and response messages are directly processed without using Servlet engine. Our system can completely support standard Web Services protocol, reducing communication overhead, message processing time, and server overload.

  • Web-assemblies are a new binary standard designed to improve the performance of Web browser JavaScript. Web-assemblies are becoming a new web standard that can run at near native speed with efficient execution, concise representation, and code written in multiple languages. However, current Web-assembly vulnerability verification is limited to the Web assembly interpreter language, and vulnerability verification of Web-assembly binary itself is insufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to verify the safety of the web assembly itself. In this paper, we analyze how to operate the web assembly and verify the safety of the current web-assembly. In addition, we examine vulnerability of existing web -assembly and analyze limitations according to existing safety verification method. Finally, we introduce web-assembly API based fuzzing method to overcome limitation of web-assembly safety verification method. This verifies the effectiveness of the proposed Fuzzing by detecting crashes that could not be detected by existing safety verification tools.

  • W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)는 2007년 상반기부터 웹 기술을 PC를 넘어 휴대폰, PDA, 정보가전, 로봇 등 모든 디바이스로 적용이 확대하기 위해 유비쿼터스 웹 응용을 위한 표준 개발을 시작하였다. 이를 담당하고 있는 유비쿼터스 웹 응용 워킹그룹은 탁상용 컴퓨터뿐 아니라 사무용품, 가정 매체 기구, 이동 전화, RFID나 바코드를 포함하는 센서나 이펙터(effector) 등의 유비쿼터스 기기들이 다양하게 흩어져 있는 환경에서 쉽게 웹 응용 개발을 가능하게 하는 표준 개발을 목표로 한다. 본 워킹그룹의 활동의 중요한 표준화 아이템 중의 하나는 Delivery Context: Client Interfaces(DCCI)로 이는 다양한 디바이스들의 기능들의 접근을 위한 표준 인터페이스를 정의하는 것이다. DCCI가 중요한 이유는 현재 웹 환경에서 오픈 API를 이용하여 개발되고 있는 다양한 매쉬업 응용에 GPS와 같은 단말을 기능을 매쉬업을 제공할 수 있는 기반이 되기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 최근에 W3C의 UWA(Ubiquitous Web Application) WG에서 추진되고 있는 DCCI에 대한 표준화 동향을 설명한다.
