This paper takes precautions proposals against prospective disasters from the space weather maximum in 2013. The space weather maximum could wreak havoc in this world. A geomagnetic space storm sparked by a solar eruption like the one that flared toward earth is bound to strike again and could wreak havoc across the modern world. Despite of the fact that not only researches by colleges and institutions current researches have been focusing on warning systems of space communication and the earth network systems, but also management and control systems are not situated for the space weather blasters. The purpose of the study is that the damage reduces methods implementation on the ultimate space weather communication systems by above lists proposed type analysis. In result, the implementation of the communication disaster management systems deals with the smart IT converged GIS analysis on the flare, solar proton event, geomagnetic storm to the effects of the geomagneticsphere, ionosphere and troposphere from solar maximum. This research can provide affective methods for the saving lives and property protections that implementation of the disaster prediction and disaster prevention systems adapts smart IT systems and converged high tech information systems using decision making support systems of the GIS methodology.
On the basis of sensor types, satellites can be classified by two types, which are optical observation satellite and radar observation satellite. A satellite type is selected according to the specific mission. Optical observation satellite is more appropriate for getting high geometric resolution images and radar observation satellite is more appropriate for getting images independent of weather condition the more a demand of satellite increases, the more an importance of information increases. Therefore, development trend and state of earth observation satellite are surveyed and described in this paper. In the future, domestic development of satellites will be planned considering trend of satellite technologies.
Meterological satellites have taken their important place as astandard observing platform from which to measure weather. Specially, they provide a useful information about the weather of wide dessert or sea. This information is really helpful to understand the field of satellite meteorology. Several leading countries, for example, USA, EC, Russia, and Japan, launch two different satellites, both Geostationary and Polar orbiting satellite system. Hewever no technology is developed to our own groundstation for NOAA satellite. The purpose of this paper is to build a home-made NOAA APT groundstation and image processing system to supply this system to secondary school or college.
The operational NOAA satellite temperature soundings are utilized to determine the horizontal wind and vertical motion fields for a polar low case over the East Asian region by solving the nonlinear balance equation and the omega equation. Preliminary results demonstrate that the balanced wind and vertical motion fields derived from the satellite data give reasonable synoptic patterns associated with the polar low. This encourages the use of satellite information as inputs in the numerical weather prediction models.
The SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellite has the advantage of implementing the imaging mission even though it is night time, cloudy weather, and all weather conditions, which is different from the satellite with the optical payload. This is the reason why the SAR satellite comes into the spotlight in the observation satellite field. The Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) has been developing the first Korean SAR satellite and is currently integrating and testing the Flight Model. For the launch vehicle service, KARI finalized the selection of the launch vehicle service provider and finished Critical Design Review (CDR) of the interface between the bus and the launch vehicle. KARI and launch vehicle service provider also finished the test of the telemetry interface between the bus and the launch vehicle. The test of the telemetry interface has the purpose of checking the interface of the telemetry which is the SOH(State-of-Health) of the satellite in an early launch stage. For this test, KARI has finished the development of the spacecraft simulator which is composed of the bus simulator to generate the analog telemetry and the launch vehicle simulator to gather the telemetry. In this research, the result of the hardware implementation and the software implementation for the spacecraft simulator were described. Finally the results of the launch vehicle telemetry MUX test which were performed at the launch vehicle provider's design office by using the spacecraft simulator were summarized. It is expected that this simulator will be used in the next test after the manufacture of the launch vehicle.
Global warming causes climate change and increases extreme weather events worldwide, and the occurrence of heatwaves and droughts is also increasing in Korea. For the monitoring of extreme weather, various satellite data such as LST (Land Surface Temperature), TCI (Temperature Condition Index), NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), VCI (Vegetation Condition Index), and VHI (Vegetation Health Index) have been used. VHI, the combination of TCI and VCI, represents the vegetation stress affected by meteorological factors like precipitation and temperature and is frequently used to assess droughts under climate change. TCI and VCI require historical reference values for the LST and NDVI for each date and location. So, it is complicated to produce the VHI from the recent satellite GK2A (Geostationary Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite-2A). This study examined the retrieval of VHI using GK2A AMI (Advanced Meteorological Imager) by referencing the historical data from VIIRS (Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite) NDVI and LST as a proxy data. We found a close relationship between GK2A and VIIRS data needed for the retrieval of VHI. We produced the TCI, VCI, and VHI for GK2A during 2020-2021 at intervals of 8 days and carried out the interpretations of recent extreme weather events in Korea. GK2A VHI could express the changes in vegetation stress in 2020 due to various extreme weather events such as heatwaves (in March and June) and low temperatures (in April and July), and heavy rainfall (in August), while NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) VHI could not well represent such characteristics. The GK2A VHI presented in this study can be utilized to monitor the vegetation stress due to heatwaves and droughts if the historical reference values of LST and NDVI can be adjusted in a more statistically significant way in the future work.

In this study, we summarized the results of "Pre-study for the development of Polar route space radiation forecast model", funded by National Meteorological Satellite Center, Korea Meteorological Administration. We investigated the aviation space weather-related literature and the airline companies's operation manual associated with the space weather. We also identify the strengths and weaknesses of many pre-existing space radiation calculation programs, and find the potential to be improved. Until now, we don's have our own space radiation calculation program, so we need more improved space radiation calculation program which will be developed by ourselves. Currently most space radiation calculation programs cannot reflect temporary variations in the solar activities and the space weather. Here we analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of those programs, which are widely used in typical space radiation calculations. Finally to reflect the real-time space weather effects in the forecast model, we need to develop more precise forecast model. For that purpose, we suggest the following four steps: (1) at first, we have to choose the ground-based radiation dose calculation program, (2) we have to select a proper atmospheric model in aircraft altitude, (3) we combine the selected ground cosmic radiation dose calculation program and the selected atmospheric model, and finally (4)we have to reflect the real time space weather information and space weather forecast into the newly combined model.
In this research the 2009 spring occurred during forest fire ImSil and research destination GyeongJu has been selected. Research in the field of the target time exploratory Boundary Data through after air photos, satellite photos and topographic map by using the combustion area was calculated. 2009 March 1-forest fire occurs on the day of the weather information and weather changes wildfire in the check in any affected. Study research destination of combustion is ImSil 161 ha, GyeongJu 270.93 ha. The impact of the weather-temperature dry weather forest fires this favorable situation to occur and the wind directions and the spread of the mountain wind speed was less impact has no arguments.

Satellite communication for high altitude platform stations (HAPS) and geostationary orbit (GEO) systems suffers from sand and dust (SANDU) storms in desert and arid regions. The focus of this paper is to propose common relations between HAPS and GEO for the atmospheric impairments affecting the satellite communication networks operating above Ku-band crossing the propagation path. A double phase three-dimensional relationship for HAPS and GEO systems is then presented. The comparison model present the analysis of atmospheric attenuation with specific focus on sand and dust based on particular size, visibility, adding gas effects for different frequency, and propagation angle to provide systems' operations with a predicted vision of satellite parameters' values. Thus, the proposed system provides wide range of selecting applicable parameters, under different weather conditions, in order to achieve better SNR for satellite communication.
