Excel을 이용한 공학적 투자사업의 손익분기점분석 (A Breakeven Analysis Using the Excel for an Engineering Project)

  • A break-even analysis is a method used widely for profit planning or decisions in most companies. It is useful tool in financial studies because it is simple and offers useful insights from a modest amount of data. Although it is widely used, it has some weaknesses. It is limited in particular to the analysis for a short term time horizon or one period. We suggest a new break-even procedure to analyze projects with a long term time horizon as keeping the simplicity of a conventional break-even analysis. We will make efforts doing to include actual data for a cost or an income as much as possible rather than developing a mathematical model to improve unreality of a traditional break-even analysis. Also, we will use the spreadsheet software to solve problems.

  • To reduce an authors burden in hypermedia system that allows non-sequential information the process of creating links must be easy. However, most of the conventional hypermedia systems possess two difficulties. First, the author must go through several troublesome process to create a single link. Secondly, it is not easy to create an anchor in text or other multimedia data. Therefore, in order to support effective construction of hypermedia system the editing environment must provide an easy method to create links. In this paper, to resolve the weaknesses of conventional hypermedia system as mentioned above, an editing tool is developed and implemented to easily create the links of multimedia data. There are three methods in creating links and a user can select a convenient method in given circumstances. And for teh efficient production of nodes composed of multimedia information, we provide an authoring environment to integrate and process those informations.

  • There arc numerous techniques available to appraise pupil achievement in elementary school mathematics. The teacher must utilize a variety of approaches to assess pupil growth in the mathematics curriculum. Each evaluation technique has its strengths as well as weaknesses. Thus, a specific evaluation technique may be utilized as a check on other approaches to appraisal. Pupil achievement must be assessed in terms of stated relevant understandings. skills, and attitudinal objectives. It is not adequate to appraise pupil growth in terms of understandings objectives only. Pupils must also be assessed in terms of skills objectives. The understandings acquired by learners must be utilized; thus, skills objectives need to be stressed adequately in ongoing units of study in elementary school mathematics. Adequate emphasis also needs to be placed upon pupils achieving attitudinal goals. Desireable attitudes on the part of learners aid in achieving understandings and skills objectives. A defensible program of evaluation would then stress that pupil achievement be adequately appraised in terms of understandings, skills, and attitudinal objectives.

Hexagonal reciprocating pump: advantages and weaknesses

  • This paper reports the 1-D fluid transient simulation results of the discharge flow conditions in a 6-cylinder reciprocating slurry pump. Two discharge manifold configurations are studied comparatively; a case with a hexagon shaped discharge manifold where each cylinder discharges at a single vertex, and a case where all the cylinders discharges are lumped together into a tank shaped manifold. In addition, the study examines the effect of two pulsation mitigation measures in the case of hexagonal manifold; a single inline orifice in one of the hexagon sides and a volumetric dampener at the manifold outlet. The study establishes the pressure and flow fluctuation characteristics of each configuration and decouples the pulsation characteristics of the pump and the discharge manifold.

  • Objective : To summarize and interpret observations of responses of child with sensory modulation disorder during four therapy sessions in order to contribute to future studies. Method : Analyze treatment goals and strengths and weaknesses of four therapy sessions and discuss implications of therapy. Results : Child's adaptive responses were improved throughout the therapy sessions. Conclusions : Intensive sensory integration therapy is needed continuously. Future study with this participant is needed to explore more effectiveness of sensory integration therapy.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a scale for analyzing family life structure. For this purpose, family life was divided into 8 areas as to be grasped on the whole at first. Next the items to measure both the subjective and objective sides of each area are selected. At last, to test the reliability and validity of the scale we followed a process of verification. Diagnosing each family and making its problems and weaknesses clear with this scale will offer a base for developing the service which meets that familys needs.

가구 오토캐드 인터넷 강좌 운영을 통한 교육효율성 제고방안 연구 (A Study on Measures to Improve Educational Efficiency through the Operation on AutoCAD Internet Lecture for Furniture)

  • The efficiency of internet lectures has been proved in many areas, and its significance and role theory has been consistently mentioned in the fields of furniture design education that demand a large amount of educational contents and practice in visual education. However, it reveals weaknesses without satisfying the demand owing to various realistic issues. In this study, the significance and developmental process of internet lecture as well as its effect after the development in terms of the education on furniture design were analyzed by counting some development cases of internet educational program in relation with AutoCAD educational course, a computer design program for furniture design. Also through such analysis, it intended to promote the development of design education by assessing the merits and problems, assignments to be supplemented, and utilization of the educational course development.

위생용 부직포의 키토산/은나노 혼합용액 처리에 의한 역학적 특성 변화 (Changes in Mechanical Properties of Sanitary Nonwoven Fabrics by Chitosan/Nanosilver Mixed Solution Treatment)

  • In order to investigate the changes in mechanical properties of sanitary nonwoven fabrics actually used as a top sheet, the fabric was treated with a mixture of chitosan and nanosilver colloidal solution in accordance with the prescribed ratio. The former is a natural polymer with excellent biocompatibility and the latter can give an additional performance while compensating the weaknesses of chitosan of deteriorating adherence efficiency. It was shown that the bending and shearing characteristics of the chitosan/nanosilver treated fabrics decreased, which helped to make it softer, smoother and more flexible. The shape stability and drapability of the treated fabrics improved. As KES-FB system evaluation showed that Koshi was deduced, and both Numeri and Fukurami were increased. Thereby, the chitosan/nanosilver treated fabrics were smoother to provide elasticity. In the change of hand value compared to chitosan only treatment, a better THV was shown in the fabrics treated with chitosan/nanosilver mixed solution than the fabric treated with chitosan alone.

  • This study aims to explore the potentials of System Dynamics as a tool to understand the community welfare practice by paying attention to the strengths of System Dynamics to complement the weaknesses of the theories and studies of the community welfare practice. The contents of this study are as follows. First, it draws the limitations of its theories and studies by reviewing the literatures related. Second, it outlines the characteristics of the community welfare practice process as well as the strengths of System Dynamics as a tool to understand the community welfare practice. Third, it presents a causal loop model of System Dynamics applied to the community welfare practice process. Lastly, it concludes with the suggestions and implications of the key research findings. This study is expected to be a basic study to highlight the potentials of System Dynamics as a tool to understand the community welfare practice.

Identity-based Authenticated Multiple Key Agreement Protocol with PKG Forward Security

  • Authenticated multiple key agreement protocols not only allow participants to agree the multiple session keys within one run of the protocol but also ensure the authenticity of the other party. In 2011, Dehkordi et al. proposed an identity-based authenticated multiple key agreement protocol. In this paper, we demonstrate that Dehkordi et al.'s protocol is vulnerable to impersonation attacks. Furthermore, we have found that their protocol cannot provide perfect forward security or mutual security. Then we propose an identity-based authenticated multiple key agreement protocol which removes the weaknesses of the Dehkordi et al.'s protocol. Compared with the multiple key agreement protocols in the literature, the proposed protocol is more efficient and holds stronger security.
