In this paper, we obtain a strong law of large numbers for convex tight random elements taking values in the space of fuzzy numbers in R.

We modified the optical system of 500 mm wide-field telescope of which point spread function showed an irregularity. The telescope has been operated for Near Earth Space Survey (NESS) located at Siding Spring Observatory (SSO) in Australia, and the optical system was brought back to Korea in January 2008. After performing a numerical simulation with the tested value of surface figure error of the primary mirror using optical design program, we found that the surface figure error of the mirror should be fabricated less than root mean square (RMS) $\lambda$/10 in order to obtain a stellar full width at half maximum (FWHM) below $28\;{\mu}m$. However, we started to figure the mirror for the target value of RMS $\lambda$/20, because system surface figure error would be increased by the error induced by the optical axis adjustment, mirror cell installation, and others. The radius of curvature of the primary mirror was 1,946 mm after the correction. Its measured surface figure error was less than RMS $\lambda$/20 on the table of polishing machine, and RMS $\lambda$/15 after installation in the primary mirror cell. A test observation performed at Daeduk Observatory at Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute by utilizing the exiting mount, and resulted in $39.8\;{\mu}m$ of stellar FWHM. It was larger than the value from numerical simulation, and showed wing-shaped stellar image. It turned out that the measured-curvature of the secondary mirror, 1,820 mm, was not the same as the designed one, 1,795.977 mm. We fabricated the secondary mirror to the designed value, and finally obtained a stellar FWHM of $27\;{\mu}m$ after re-installation of the optical system into SSO NESS Observatory in Australia.

Let X be a Banach space and ${\psi}$ a continuous convex function on ${\Delta}_{K+1}$ satisfying certain conditions. Let $(X{\bigoplus}X{\bigoplus}{\cdots}{\bigoplus}X)_{\psi}$ be the ${\psi}$-direct sum of X. In this paper, we characterize the K strict convexity, K uniform convexity and uniform non-$l^N_1$-ness of Banach spaces using ${\psi}$-direct sums.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of the fibrewise convergence space as a generalization of both the notion of fibrewise topology and that of convergence. Furthermore we observe the adjoint ness and Galois correspondence between the category of fibrewise topological spaces and the category of fibrewise convergence spaces. Finally we investigate the limit and colimit structures in these categories.

In this paper, we introduce a new concept of partial ordering which permits us to compare pairs of the dependence structures of a new hitting times for POD multivariate vector process of interest as to their degree of POD-ness. We show that POD ordering is closed under convolution, limit in distribution, compound distribution, mixture of a certain type and convex combination. Finally, we present several examples of POD ordering processes.

본 연구는 첫 자녀 출산 후 부부관계 경험 및 적응 과정에 대한 이해를 위해 근거이론적 접근에 기초한 질적 분석을 시도하였다. 결혼 기간 5년 미만, 첫 자녀 출산 후 3년 이내의 부부 13쌍에 대해 심층 면담이 진행되었다. 면담 자료를 대상으로 범주화 작업을 거쳐, 출산 후 부부관계 경험 및 적응에 대한 패러다임을 추출할 수 있었다. 첫 자녀를 출산한 부부들에게 관계 변화를 야기하는 원인적 조건은 삼자적 가족구조로의 전환 및 결혼 적응 수준이었으며, 중심 현상으로는 양육 및 가사 부담, 출산 후 부부관계의 변화가 특징적으로 관찰되었다. 이러한 중심현상은 남편의 지원과 관심, 원가족 지원의 중재 변인을 통해 그 강도가 완화 또는 악화되었다. 작용/상호작용적 전략에서 추출된 주요 범주는 새로운 역할 인식과 적극적인 수용, 가족에 대한 의미부여였으며 이러한 전략이 성공적으로 진행되었을 때, 완성체로서의 가족 구성과 공유된 가치 경험이 얻어질 수 있었다. 선택 코딩을 통해 이론화를 시도한 결과 '부부의 새로운 역할 인식과 수용 및 우리성(We-ness)의 추구'라는 핵심범주가 추출되었다. 임신과 출산, 양육 전 과정에 걸쳐 부부가 하나의 단위로 움직이며, 적극적인 관심과 참여를 보이는 것으로 정의되는 '우리성'의 획득은 출산과 양육이라는 생애 전환기적 사건을 맞닥뜨린 부부가 이에 적응적으로 대응하고 안정된 부부관계를 유지하게 하는 근거가 되는 것으로 나타났다.

We study in this note rings whose prime radicals are completely prime. We obtain equivalent conditions to the complete 2-primal-ness and observe properties of completely 2-primal rings, finding examples and counterexamples to the situations that occur naturally in the process.

A deranged Cantor set (without the uniform bounded-ness condition away from zero of contraction ratios) whose weak local dimensions for all points coincide has its Hausdorff dimension of the same value of weak local dimension. We will show it using an energy theory instead of Frostman's density lemma which was used for the case of the deranged Cantor set with the uniform boundedness condition of contraction ratios. In the end, we will give an example of such a deranged Cantor set.

In this paper, we introduce the concepts of closure and interior defined by an intuitionistic gradation of openness. We also introduce the concepts of weakly gp-maps, gp-open maps and several types of compactness, and obtain some characterizations.

The purpose of this study is to present that the entrepreneurial orientation affects to management performance in the small manufacturer. In order to carry out this research, we obtained 171 survey sheets and inspected seven assumptions based on the reliability, validity of the questionnaires. The results of regression analysis are summarized as follows; First, the factor of entrepreneurial orientation, innovative-ness, influences on the technical innovation performance and financial performance significantly. Second, the element of entrepreneurial orientation, proactive-ness, has an important effect on the technical innovation performance and financial performance. Finally, the requisite of entrepreneurial orientation, risk taking, affects to the technical innovation performance significantly, but not the financial performance. Based on the results, the companies that achieve the technical innovation and financial performance have an atmosphere to encourage to perform the research and development works and find out innovative ideas and improvement points in processes. However, the entrepreneur is required to take careful judgement for determining the uncertain circumstance.
