국내 레미콘 플랜트의 단위수량관리 현황 검토에 관한 연구 (A Study on the status of unit water content control of the Ready-Mixed Concrete plants in the country)

  • In this study, it was selected that in order to make an investigation into the status of the unit water content control of the ready-mixed concrete plants in the country, Capacitance Measurement Method out of various methods which are able to gauge the amount of unit water content in fresh concrete. Then, it were estimated that the quantity of unit water in fresh concrete and the technical standard of every mixture design of the six ready-mixed concrete plants chosen at random in the country. Finally, based on this study, it was proposed as fundamental data to utilize measurement techniques of the quantity of unit water for the quality control of the ready-mixed concrete in construction field.

급수량(給水量) 단기(短期) 수요예측(需要豫測)에 대한 연구(硏究) (A Study on Daily Water Demand Prediction Model)

  • In this study, we examined the structural analysis of water demand fluctuation for water distribution control of water supply network. In order to analyze for the length of stationary time series, we calculate autocorrelation coefficient of each case equally divided data size. As a result, it was found that, with the data size of around three months, any case could be used as stationary time series. we analyze cross-correlation coefficient between the daily water consumption's data and primary influence factors. As a result, we have decided to use weather conditions and maximum temperature as natural primary factors and holidays as a social factor. Applying the multiple ARIMA model, we obtains an effective model to describe the daily water demand prediction. From the forecasting result, even though we forecast water distribution quantity of the following year, estimated values well express the flctuations of measurements. Thus, the suitability of the model for practical use can be confirmed. When this model is used for practical water distribution control, water distribution quantity for the following day should be found by inputting maximum temperature and weather conditions obtained from weather forecast, and water purification plants and service reservoirs should be operated based on this information while operation of pumps and valves should be set up. Consequently, we will be able to devise a rational water management system.

사각형 중간맨홀에서의 유사 퇴적 분석 및 산정식 제안 (Analysis and Suggestion of Estimation Equation for Sedimentation in Square Manholes with Straight Path)

  • Sediment load deposited in sewers and manholes reduces not only the capacity of pipes but also the efficiency of the whole sewer system. This causes the inundations of the low places and overflows at manholes, Moreover, sulfides and bad odor can occur due to deposited sediment with organic loads in manholes. Movements of sediment load in manholes are complicated depending on manhole size, location, inside structure, sediment load type, and time. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the movements of sediment load in manholes by experiments. In this study, experiments were implemented by a square manhole with straight path to measure deposited sedimentation quantity. The experimental apparatus was consisted of a high water tank, an upstream tank, test pipes, a sediment supplier, a manhole, and a downstream tank to measure the experimental discharge. The quantity of deposited sediment load was measured by different conditions, such as the inflow condition of sediment(continuous and certain period), the amount of inflow sediment, discharge, and the type of sediment. Jumoonjin sand(S=2.63, D50=0.55mm), general sand(GS, S=2.65, D50=1.83mm) and anthracite (S=1.45, D50=0.80mm) were employed for the experiment. The velocities in inflow pipe were 0.45 m/s, 0.67 m/s, and 0.9 m/s. Sediment load movement and sedimentation quantity in manhole were influenced by many factors such as velocity, shear stress, viscosity, amount of sediment, sediment size, and specific gravity. Suggested regression equations can estimated the quantity of deposited sediment in the straight path square manholes. The connoted equations that were evaluated through the experimental study have velocity range from 0.45 to 0.9m/sec. The study results illustrates that appropriation of design velocity ragne between 1.0 and 2.0m/sec could implement to maintain and manage manholes.

간이변환 수질예측모델에 의한 영일만 내부생산성 평가 (Numerical Simulation of water quality by ${\Delta}COD$ method for Inner Productivity Estimation of Yeong-Il Bay)

  • This study investigated the yearly variation of pollutant loads outflowing from six watershed of Yeong-il Bay and compared the relationship of pollutant load and water quality, and estimated the Inner productivity of Yeong-Il Bay by using ${\Delta}COD$ method which analysis nonlinear process of water quality. As the estimated results for the pollutant loads of Yeong-Il Bay, total COD load outflowing from Hyeong-san river in flood season(summer) of 2001 year was 2275.0 kg/hr and in dry(low water) season(winter) 852.8 kg/hr, respectively. Load quantity in flood season was about 2.67 times than that in dry season. And as the calculated results of the net-flux of water for seven divisions, it showed that the net-flux of water increased for the divisions of the north coast and inner sea of Yeong-Il Bay but decreased for the south coast. On the contrary, for the cases which water quantity increase from land, the net-flux of water in estuary front of Hyeong-san river decreased but outflowing quantity of that though division of the south coast of Homi-got increased. Finally, this study compared the Inner productions for flood and dry season of Yeong-il Bay by using ${\Delta}COD$ method.

  • Dam concrete should have sufficient durability in wet and dry repetition and abrasion due to water lever variance and also in freezing and thawing resistance as well as water penetration capacity. This study presents various experimental performance to enhance the durability of face slab concrete in concrete face rockfill dam by varying the fly ash substitution of 0%, 10%, 15% and 20% in cement quantity. The effect on durability corresponding to the increasing amount of fly-ash was evaluated and the optimum quantity of fly-ash subtitution was finally recommended. The results show that 15% fly-ash substituion was found out to be an optimum quantity and demonstrated an excellent performances in durability.

  • 인피섬유로 한지를 제조하고 남은 닥나무 목질부를 활용하기위한 방안으로 닥나무 목질부 파티클을 이용하여 보드를 제조하고 밀도 및 수지첨가량에 따른 물성을 검토하였다. 흡수율은 보드의 밀도 및 수지첨가량이 증가할수록 감소하였으며, 휨강도 및 Brinell 경도는 밀도 및 수지첨가량이 증가할수록 세포간 결합력이 커져 증가하였다. 흡수 두께 팽창율은 보드의 밀도가 증가함에 따라 증가하였고, 수지첨가량이 증가할수록 감소하였다.

우수의 지표 포집 모델의 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of Rainwater Collection Model by the Ground)

  • In this study, quantity and quality of collected rainwater by the ground collection system were investigated and the Rainwater Collection Prediction Model was developed to predict the amount of collected rainwater. The quantity of collected rainwater in the collection system was 9516 L(38.2%) and the quantity of infiltrated rainwater in the collection system was 9946 L(40.2%) through $25m^2$ area for the study period, respectively. Average turbidity of collected rainwater in collection system was 2.2 NTU, and average turbidity of infiltrated rainwater in collection system was 2.3 NTU for study period, respectively. The predicted amount by the model and the actual collected amount were 9842.4 L and 9516 L, which were very close showing that prediction was excellent. The optimal rainwater storage tank volume was simulated with a certain consumption condition for various cities with different rainfall patterns.

  • This study has a purpose of examining technical feasibility of supplying the in-stream flow for the Gyobang cheon by using treated water from small wastewater treatment facilities as a decentralized option. To do this, the water and contaminant flow in study areas of the Gyobang cheon are defined from the context of the integrated urban water cycle, and analyzed by using the Urban Volume and Quality (UVQ) model. First, the UVQ model was built for the study areas of the Gyobang cheon and calibrated with observation data. Second, the decentralized options of the in-stream flow was explored with consideration of availability of water sources. The UVQ simulation then led to selecting the best option which would meet the criteria of water quantity and quality. It was finally concluded that using water sources out of study areas 1 and 2, adjoining the upper part of the Gyobang cheon, in the decentralized manner can be a feasible option for in-stream flow. It also seems that the UVQ model is useful to understand the water cycle in study areas of the Gyobang cheon.

스프링클러설비의 설계면적에 대한 연구 (A Study on Design Area of Fire Sprinkler System)

  • 스프링클러 설비가 중요한 화재진압설비 임에도 화재 시 헤드가 작동하는 면적인 설계면적에 대한 이해의 부족으로 설계면적의 형태를 설정하고 이를 계산하는 것이 원칙에 맞지 않게 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 설계면적의 형태는 정사각형으로 하거나 가지관 쪽의 길이가 교차배관 쪽의 길이보다 약간 긴 직사각형으로 하는 것이 일반적이다. NFPA에서는 가지관 쪽 길이를 교차배관 쪽 길이보다 1.2배 크게 할 것을 요구하며 FM에서는 1.4배 크게 할 것을 요구한다. 동일한 설계면적에서 가지관 쪽의 길이를 길게 하면 할수록 유량과 압력이 더 커지게 된다. 설계면적의 수리계산 결과에서 가지배관 쪽의 길이가 1.2배 크게 할 경우 정방형의 경우보다 유량은 4.6%가 커지고 압력은 4.67%가 커졌으며 1.4배 크게 할 경우 유량은 7.52%가 압력은 14.51%가 커졌다. 따라서 스프링클러 설계자들은 설비를 좀 더 안정적으로 설계하기 위하여 설계면적을 정사각형 또는 가지관 쪽의 길이를 약간 길게하는 직사각형의 형태를 갖는 일반적인 규칙을 따라야 한다.

지열히트펌프 냉매자동조절에 따른 냉·난방 성능실험에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cooling Heating Performance Experiment by Refrigerant Auto Control of Geothermal Heat Pump)

  • This study presents analysis of the experimental data meeting conditions of several applications in real time. The results of this experimental study are as follows: Respectively in cooling and heating performance, a refrigerant charge tank can take automatic control of variation of the refrigerant quantity by controling pressure and temperature of system and outlet water temperature. The COP shows 3.5 in cooling operation and 3.2 in heating operation. The refrigerant quantity increases 0.69 kJ/h. When the outdoor temperature decreases $1^{\circ}C$, Therefore if the temperature become lower from $25^{\circ}C$ to $-16^{\circ}C$, the refrigerant quantity increases about 9.5%. Compared to the normal state experiment results, the COP in automatic control of the refrigerant quantity rises roughly 10%.
