광양항의 항로설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Proposal of the Ship's Routing on Gwangyang Harbor)

  • 광양항은 부산항과 더불어 우리나라 컨테이너 화물 처리 Two Port System의 한축으로 개발 중인 동북아 중심항만(Hub Port)으로서 향후 2011년까지 총 33개의 컨테이너 선적 등이 개발 추진 중에 있어 해상교통량이 급격히 증가하고 있으며, 또한 거대선$\cdot$위험화물운반선$\cdot$고속여객선의 통항이 빈번하여 대형사고의 발생우려가 상존하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 광양항을 이용하는 선박의 입출항 항로 등에 대한 해상교통환경을 면밀히 분석$\cdot$평가하고, 통항로 및 항행보조시설 등의 적정성 검토를 통하여 미래 지향적이고 안전한 해상교통환경을 조성하기 위한 체계적이고 종합적인 항로를 설정한다.

탄소중립 녹색도시 구현을 위한 계획지표 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Planning Indicator for Carbon Neutral Green City)

  • The aim of this dissertation is establishing internal indicator list for achieving policy goal of Carbon Neutrality Green City. First of all, it started to construct the basic system of planning indicator based on through comprehension of current studies such as advanced researches, government guidelines and green building certifications. And then it was set up final indicator list through inspecting FGI (Focus Group Interview), Verification of suitability, and Analysis of importance). As a result of this research, the planning indicator divided three steps and there were classified four fields in the top-level; Green Land and Ecology, Green Energy, Green Resource and Transportation, Green Living and Institution. According to the data, it deducted four items (ratio of green land, site plan, heat island and management of climate, base of nature ecology) and twelve index in the field of green land and ecology, three item(energy conservation and self-supporting, energy efficiency, new regeneration energy) and twelve index in the field of green energy and regeneration, five items(water resources utilize and circulation, other resource reduction and circulation, public transportation, green transportation plan) and fifteen index. Totally, Planning Indicators of forty nine were deducted. Therefore, there was the result of importance analysis that the indicators of plan and maintain management as the side of space for carbon neutrality were more appreciated than carbon reduction of individual building.

호두 첨가에 따른 청국장의 이화학적 특성 및 항산화능 변화 (Changes in the Physicochemical Characteristics and the Antioxidative Activity of Cheonggukjang by Addition of Walnut)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the changes in the physicochemical characteristics and antioxidant activity of cheonggukjang with the addition of walnuts. The pH of cheonggukjang did not change significantly with the addition of walnut. But the water content decreased significantly. Walnut addition to the soybean was expected to have a positive effect because the number of Bacillus subtilis was not reduced. The viscous substance content was significantly decreased when more than 20% of walnut was added to cheonggukjang. The addition of walnut made the color darker. The flavonoid and polyphenol content was sharply increased in proportion to the walnut addition and the DPPH radical scavenging activity of cheonggukjang also increased. Altogether, it was found that the addition of walnut had a positive influence on the cheonggukjang by increasing the antioxidant activity.

  • 본 연구에서는 울산항 인근해역에 대한 자연환경, 해양사고, 해상교통량 및 해상교통흐름 관측, 어업현황 등을 조사 분석하고, 전문가 및 이용자에 대한 설문조사를 실시하여 개선안을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 전문가 및 사용자의 설문조사 실행을 통한 항해위험 필수요소, 개선계획 및 충돌위험 필수요소를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과로서 보다 효율적인 항로를 도출하였다.

정상운반조건 해석을 위한 사용후핵연료집합체 유한요소모델 최적화 (Optimization of Spent Nuclear Fuel Assembly Finite Element Model for Normal Transportation Condition Analysis)

  • Since spent nuclear fuel assemblies (SFA) are transported to interim storage or final disposal facility after cooling the decay heat, finite element analysis (FEA) with simplification is widely used to show their integrity against cladding failure to cause dispersal of radioactive material. However, there is a lack of research addressing the comprehensive impact of shape and element simplification on analysis results. In this study, for the optimization of a typical pressurized water reactor SFA, different types of finite element models were generated by changing number of fuel rods, fuel rod element type and assembly length. A series of FEA in use of these different models were conducted under a shock load data obtained from surrogate fuel assembly transportation test. Effects of number of fuel rods, element type and length of assembly were also analyzed, which shows that the element type of fuel rod mainly affected on cladding strain. Finally, an optimal finite element model was determined for other practical application in the future.

산화 그래핀 맴브레인의 물투과 속도와 차압 조건 간 상관관계에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study of Water Penetration Rate Via Graphene Oxide Membrane According to Driven Pressure Difference)

  • Graphene oxide (GO) laminate is a new promising material for water purification system, which has extraordinary permeability only for water molecule. It consists of numerous nano-channels, in which water molecules could be nano-confined, resulting in slip of the molecules for very fast transportation speed. In this study, water penetration rate via different thickness of GO membrane according to driven pressures are measured experimentally, so that speed of water molecules and permeability are evaluated. Generally, water penetration rate via a membrane with macroscopic-sized channel increases linearly with pressure difference between up and bottom side of the membrane, but that via GO membrane approaches asymptotic value (i.e. saturation) as like a log function. Moreover, the permeability of GO membrane was observed in inverse proportion to its thickness. Based on the experimental observations, a correlation for volume flux via GO membrane was suggested with respect to its thickness and external pressure difference.

수전해용 Nd1.5Ba1.5CoFeMnOx 전기촉매 특성 분석 (Electrocatalytic properties of Nd1.5Ba1.5CoFeMnOx for water splitting)

  • 고성능의 산소생성반응(OER)과 수소생성반응(HER) 전기촉매 개발은 수전해 시스템의 상용화에 있어서 매우 중요하게 여겨진다. 특히 HER에 비하여 OER이 상대적으로 높은 과전압을 가지기 때문에, OER의 과전압을 효과적으로 낮추는 촉매를 개발하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는, 매우 간단한 공정을 통하여 triple perovskite 구조의 Nd1.5Ba1.5CoFeMnOx 전기촉매를 합성하였으며 그 특성을 분석하였다. 합성된 Nd1.5Ba1.5CoFeMnOx는 OER 뿐만 아니라 HER에서도 우수한 특성을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과를 통하여 높은 결정성을 가지는 triple perovskite 구조가 간단한 연소 합성법(combustion synthetic method)을 통하여 합성될 수 있으며 알칼리 전해질 하에서 매우 우수한 촉매특성을 보이는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서, 높은 OER, HER 특성을 보이는 Nd1.5Ba1.5CoFeMnOx triple perovskite 촉매는 수전해 시스템의 상용화에 큰 기여를 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Transportation and Deposition of Modern Sediments in the Southern Yellow Sea

  • Based on the data obtained under the China-Korea joint project (1997-2001) and historic observations, the distribution, transportation and sedimentation of sediment in the southern Yellow Sea (SYS) are discussed, and the controversial formation mechanism of muddy sediments is also explored. The sediment transport trend analysis indicates that the net transport direction of sediment in the central SYS (a fine-grained sediment deposited area) points to $123.4^{\circ}E,\;35.1^{\circ}N$, which is a possible sedimentation center in the central SYS. The sediment transport pattern is verified by the distribution of total suspended matter (TSM) concentration and ${\delta}^{13}C$ values of particulate organic carbon (POC), the latter indicates that the bottom water plays a more important role than the surface water in transporting the terrigenous material to the central deep-water area of the SYS, and the Yellow Sea circulation is an important control factor for the sediment transport pattern in the SYS. The carbon isotope signals of organic matter in sediments indicate that the Shandong subaqueous delta has high sedimentation rate and the deposited sediments originate mainly from the modern Yellow River. The terrigenous sediments in deep-water area of the SYS originate mainly from the old Yellow River and the modern Yellow River, and only a small portion originates from the modern Yangtze River. The analytical results of TSM and stable carbon isotopes are further confirmed by another independent tracer of sediment source, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Five light mineral provinces in the SYS can be identified and they indicate inhomogeneity in sources and sedimentary environment. The modern shelf sedimentary processes in the SYS are controlled by shelf dynamic factors. The muddy depositional systems are produced in the shelf low-energy environments, which are controlled by some meso-scale cyclonic eddies (cold eddies) in the central SYS and the area southwest of the Cheju Island. On the contrary, an anticyclonic muddy depositional system (warm eddy sediment) appears in the southeast of the SYS (the area northwest of the Cheju Island). In this study, we give the cyclonic and anticyclonic eddy sedimentation patterns.

Immunomodulating Activity of Crude Polysaccharide from Inonotus obliquus Sclerotia by Fractionation including MeOH Reflux

  • To obtain the immunomodulating polysaccharide from chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus sclerotia, IO), crude polysac- charide fractions (IO-M-CP and IO-CP, respectively) prepared from hot-water extract (IO-W) of I. obliquus by EtOH precipitation after MeOH reflux or not. After IO-W was re-dissolved in water followed by EtOH addition in the case without MeOH reflux, EtOH mixture was fractionated into EtOH-soluble (IO-E) and crude polysaccharide (IO-CP). In the meanwhile, MeOH-soluble fraction (IO-M) was separated from IO-W after MeOH reflux. The residue was dissolved in water and was added by EtOH, and then EtOH mixture was also fractionation into EtOH-soluble (IO-M-E) and crude polysaccharide (IO-M-CP). As a result of the macrophage stimulating activity of these fractions, IO-CP and IO-M-CP showed significantly increased cell proliferation and cytokines production than IO-W. Particularly, IO-M-CP promotes the production of IL-12 more than IO-CP. In the splenocytes proliferating activity and intestinal immune system modulating activity through Peyer's patch, both of 2 crude polysaccharide fractions were significantly promoted in cell proliferation and cytokines production than IO-W, and IO-M-CP was more potent than IO-CP in IL-2 production from splenocytes and GM-CSF production ($10{\mu}g/mL$) in Peyer's patch cells. In addition, immunomodulating polysaccharide fractions (IO-M-CP and IO-CP) prepared from IO-W by EtOH precipitation with or without EtOH reflux showed no significant difference in the chemical composition and component sugar. These results suggested that MeOH reflux might exclude low-molecular weight materials from IO-W and consequently increase the immunomodulating activity of IO-M-CP. Therefore, it was confirmed that immunomodulation of polysaccharide prepared from hot-water extract of chaga mushroom was enhanced by fractionation including MeOH reflux and EtOH precipitation.

물리 흡수제를 포함한 디에틸렌트리아민(Diethylenetriamine) 저수계 흡수제에서의 이산화탄소 흡수 특성 (Absorption Characteristics of Carbon Dioxide by Water-lean Diethylenetriamine Absorbents Mixed with Physical Solvents)

  • 본 연구에서는 디에틸렌트리아민(diethylenetriamine, DETA) 수용액에 물리흡수제인 N-메틸-2-피롤리돈(N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, NMP)을 도입한 저수계 흡수제에서 이산화탄소 포집에 따른 흡수제의 상분리 현상을 고찰하였다. 2 M DETA 수용액에서 NMP 조성이 30 wt%를 초과하면 $CO_2$ 흡수에 따라 흡수제의 상이 분리되는데 그 이유는 DETA-카바메이트 이온종의 NMP에 대한 낮은 용해도로 설명할 수 있다. 흡수제 내에서 NMP의 조성이 증가함에 따라 상분리 된 흡수제의 상층과 하층의 이산화탄소 로딩 차이가 커지고 하층의 부피가 감소하게 된다. 2 M DETA + NMP + 물 혼합 흡수제를 이용하여 충진탑에서의 이산화탄소 포집을 실시할 경우 흡수제 내 NMP조성이 40 wt%에 이르면 흡수속도가 줄어드는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 이산화탄소 흡수에 따른 점도 증가로 인한 흡수제 액막에서의 물질전달 저항 때문으로 해석된다. DETA + NMP + 물로 구성된 저수계 흡수제를 이산화탄소 포집에 적용하면 상분리에 따른 이산화탄소-rich 상 부피 감소로 재생에너지를 낮출 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
