양전자단층촬영(PET)시 환자의 특성에 따른 외부 방사선량률 측정 (Measuring external Radiation dose Ratio by Traits of Patients during Positron Emission Tomography(PET))

  • PET/CT Torso를 위해 방사성의약품($^{18}F$-FDG) 투여 후 환자 개인의 특성에 따라 환자로부터 방출되는 외부 방사선량률을 여러 가지 방법으로 측정하여 방사선 선원으로부터 안전성을 확보하고, 경각심을 제공함으로서 방사선 노출에 의한 작업종사자와 환자 보호자, 수시출입자 등의 피폭선량을 저감하기 위함이다. 2013년1월에서 6월까지 PET Torso를 시행하는 환자들 중 80명을 대상으로 방사성의약품을 투여 후 환자의 체형(비만도), 수분 공급, 신장 상태, 방사성의약품 투여량에 따라 시간 변화에 의한 환자로부터 방출되는 외부 방사선량률을 각각 측정 하였다. 방사성의약품 투여 직후부터 환자 개인의 특성에 따라 외부 방사선량률을 측정한 결과 방사성의약품 투여량이 증가할수록 외부 방사선량률이 높았고, 환자 체형에 따른 외부 방사선량률은 유의한 차이가 없었다. 수분을 공급 했을 때와 신장이 정상일 때가 그렇지 않을 때 보다 외부 방사선량률이 낮았다. 방사선 안전관리를 준수하기 위하여 방사선 작업종사자는 선원을 취급하기 전 충분한 교육과 모의 훈련을 통해 작업시간을 최소화 할 수 있도록 노력해야 할 것이며, 개인 방사선 방호구를 착용하여 외부 방사선원으로부터 피폭을 최소화 시켜야 한다.

대학 구내 휴게음식점 종사자의 손 위생관리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Hand Hygiene of Food Handlers of Food Court and Cafeteria in University Campus)

  • 본 연구는 대학 구내 휴게음식점 종사자의 손 씻기 의식과 실천, 그리고 그들의 손의 오염지표미생물 오염도를 알아보고자 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 일개 대학 구내 휴게음식점의 조리종사자를 대상으로 설문조사, 관찰조사, 그리고 미생물 시험을 행하였다. 설문조사는 개별 직접면접을 통해 이루어졌으며, 관찰조사는 화장실에서 대상자가 알아차리지 못하도록 수행되었다. 손의 미생물 오염도 실험은 식품공전에 따라 수행하였다. 설문조사 응답에 비해서 관찰조사에서는 손 씻기와 손 위생관리가 매우 미흡하였다. 설문조사와 관찰조사 사이에 화장실 사용 후 손 씻기 실천/이행 여부, 시간, 사용 제제, 씻는 부위, 손 말리는 방법, 물의 온도, 그리고 물 잠그는 방법에서 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<0.05). 대상자의 손에서 작업 전에 비하여 물로 손을 씻은 후에는 일반세균, 총대장균군, 분변성대장균 및 대장균 오염도가 낮게 나타났으며, 향균비누로 손을 씻은 후에는 포도상구균을 포함하여 모두 불검출이었다. 설문조사와 관찰조사를 통해 대상 종사자의 손 씻기 의식과 실천에는 차이가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 일부 종사자의 손에서 대장균군, 분변성대장균군, 대장균 및 황색포도상구균이 검출되어 손 씻기 실천/이행 및 손 위생관리가 불량함이 확인되었다. 본 연구는 이들 휴게음식점 종사자의 양호하지 못한 손 위생관리와 ��거절한 손 씻기가 개선되어야 하고 개인위생과 식품안전을 위한 교육 및 훈련이 더 필요하다는 것을 시사한다.

어류, 수족관수 및 환자에서 분리된 Vibrio vulnificus의 독소유전자 분포 및 항생제 내성 (Prevalence of Toxin Genes and Profiles of Antibitoc Resistance in Vibrio vulnificus Isolates from Fish, Fish Tanks, and Patients)

  • 본 연구에서는 비브리오 패혈증 예방과 치료에 유용한 항생제를 제시하기 위해 V. vulnificus의 독소유전자 분포와 항생제 내성을 분석하였다. 2015년부터 2017년까지 3년간 전남지역에서 발생한 비브리오 패혈증 환자로부터 분리되어 보관된 18균주와 전남지역에서 채취된 어패류 및 횟집 수족관수에서 분리된 5균주, 총 23균주를 대상으로 하였다. 실험에 사용된 V. vulnificus 23균주 모두 V. vulnificus로 재확인되었다. V. vulnificus 균주의 독소유전자를 분석한 결과, 23균주 중 19균주(82.6%)에서 RtxA 독소유전자가 확인되었고, 23균주 모두에서 viuB와 vvhA 독소유전자가 검출되었다. 이러한 결과는 독소유전자의 검출율이 기존 보고에 비해 높은 것이며, 실험에 사용한 모든 V. vulnificus 균주가 1개 이상의 독소유전자를 보유한 것으로 생선회 섭취와 상처를 통한 비브리오 패혈증 감염의 위험성이 상존하고 있었다. 따라서 횟집 종사자 등에 대한 비브리오 패혈증 예방 교육이 필요한 것으로 판단되었다. V. vulnificus에 대한 항생제 내성 실험결과 cefoxitin 항생제에 94.4%가 내성을 나타내었고, chloramphenicol과 tetracycline 등 14종의 항생제에 감수성을 나타내었다. 비브리오 패혈증 치료에 chloramphenicol과 tetracycline 항생제를 사용하는 현 치료법이 유용한 것으로 판단되었다.

  • 연구목적: 본 연구는 수난구조현장에서의 순직사고에 대한 원인을 분석하고 이에 대한 대처방안을 제시하여 순직사고를 예방하여 보다 질 높은 119구조서비스를 제공할 수 있는 환경을 마련하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법: 지난 10년간 수난구조활동 소방공무원 순직사고 사례 중에서 주요사례 5건을 분석하고 4M분석기법을 통해 4가지 측면(Man, Machine, Media, Management)에서 원인과 대응방안을 도출하고자 한다. 연구결과: 인적 측면에서는 현장안전의식부족등이, 장비적 측면에서는 장비자체의 부재문제등이, 정보환경 측면에서는 구조현장에 대한 정보부족등이, 관리적 측면에서는 구조현장별 대응 매뉴얼의 부재와 부실등이 주요원인으로 도출되었다. 결론: 인적측면에서는 SOP숙지 및 교육훈련 강화등이, 장비측면에서는 변화하는 구조현장에 적합한 장비의 도입등이, 정보환경측면에서는 구조활동 환경에 대한 충분한 정보제공 및 주기적 도상훈련 실시등이, 관리적 측면에서는 현장안전관리 계획 및 매뉴얼의 제정 및 전파등의 정책적 제언을 도출하였다.

Performance of adding waste glass and sewage sludge to reservoir-sediment aggregates

  • Accumulated annual reservoir sedimentation in Taiwan was 14.6 million m3 in 2010, seriously endangering reservoir safety and the water supply. In addition, the sintering temperature of reservoir-sediment aggregates (RSAs) is very high, and very energy consuming consequently. Therefore, to explore the effects of admixtures on sintering behavior and performance of the aggregates, two different admixtures are blended, waste-glass and municipal sewage sludge, into reservoir sediment to make artificial aggregates. Experimental results show that the lightweight characteristics of waste-glass/reservoir-sediment aggregates (WGRSAs) are more significant than those of sewage sludge/reservoir-sediment aggregates (SSRSAs). Moreover, as sintering temperature increases, the specific gravity of WGRSAs drops more apparently. The optimum sintering temperature of pure reservoir-sediment aggregates (PRSAs), SSRSAs, and WGRSAs was $1150^{\circ}C$, $1100^{\circ}C$, and $1050^{\circ}C$, respectively. The PRSAs are normal weight with better strength; the WGRSAs are lightweight and energy-saving; and the SSRSAs are lightweight with normal strength.

The most important are questions of recovery from the crisis and rescue of mankind from forthcoming global changes: warming of climate, water and food problems, social, economic and political conflicts that are shaking the world and other various cataclysms, accidents, negative processes. It puts before mankind the problem which never solved by our civilization. All this is caused by ignoring of objective economic laws, laws of wildlife and also by violation of cyclic development management's laws. In article the concept of strategy of mankind's survival in XXI and next centuries, the principles of creation of planetary house of universal civilization for post-industrial world based on spirituality scientific and technological revolutions, ecology, space exploration, economy and world safety are considered. Introduction of uniform universal measurement of currency for the whole world in the form of "power" is offered. Important aspect of a research is theoretical postulate on integrated innovative society. The author puts forward a new paradigm of government on a basis of 5 spirals. The basic model of forced development of small and medium business, including 9 projects, is developed.

Simultaneous detection of five biocides in household products by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry

  • A gas chromatography-mass spectrometric method was developed for determining 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CMIT), 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT), 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT), 3-iodo-2-propynyl butyl carbamic acid (IPBC) and benzoic acid (BA) in household products. A 0.5 g sample was placed in a test tube and dissolved with 5 mL water, 5 mL methylene chloride and 1.0 mL methanol. The solution was extracted by ultra-sonication followed by mechanical shaking using the salting out effect. Under the established condition, the lowest quantification limits of all analytes were in the range of 0.04-10 mg/kg and their relative standard deviations were less than 8.0 %. The method was used to analyze 10 household products. As a result of analyzing 10 household products, MIT was detected in the range of 1.2-3.5 mg/kg in 3 of 10 samples, CMIT was detected in the range of 2.6-8.2 mg/kg in 3 of 10 samples, and BA was detected in the range of 5.0-15 mg/kg in 4 of 10 samples. Meanwhile, BIT and IPBC were not detected in any of the products. It has been shown that this method can be used for the simultaneous determination of biocides with various physical and chemical properties in household products.

초등학교 급식의 비빔밥 생산과정에 따른 미생물적 품질평가 (Microbiological Quality Assessment of Bibimbap Production Flow in Elementary School Foodservice)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the microbiological quality and assure the hygienic safety of the Bibimbap production in elementary school foodservice in accordance with the HACCP(Hazzard Analysis Critical Control Point) program. The time-temperature relationship and the microbiological quality(total plate count and coliform bacteria count) were assessed to find the critical control point(CCP) during each of the production phase. In the pre-preparation phase, the risk factors of the raw ingredients exceeded the standard level suggested by Solberg et al. Mungbean starch jelly, egg and Kochujang were satisfactory in that no coliform groups were observed over the standard TPC level. In particular, there was a high the risk of beef from the early stages in terms of the coliform level. In the pre-preparation phase, green pumpkin had more coliform groups than the standard level even after washed, which calls for special attention to washing, sterilization, secondary infection of the handler, and the required time for pre-preparation of raw vegetables. In the cooking phase, the temperature of the soybean sprout and mungbean starch jelly decreased to 42$^{\circ}C$ and 26$^{\circ}C$, respectively, which was within the risk zone. In particular, mungbean starch jelly had a great risk factor even after boiling in hot water. During the storage stage before serving, a lot of ingredients were exposed to poor management of temperature and time and thus exceeded the standard level in the total plate counts. In particular, the microbiological count of beef was five times the standard level. Green pumpkins and soybean sprouts were left at 15-38$^{\circ}C$ that is within the risk zone for a long period of time after they were cooked. It is highly recommended that the time of the storage stage before consumption should be shortened and that proper devices should be used to prevent proliferation of bacteria. The number of TPC of the utensils was satisfactory enough, but the knife used exceeded the standard level and thus was a risk factor of bacteria proliferation.

Effect of Modified Atmosphere Packaging and Vacuum Packaging on Quality Characteristics of Low Grade Beef during Cold Storage

  • Many studies have been carried out with respect to packaging methods and temperature conditions of beef. However, the effects of packaging methods and temperature conditions on the quality characteristics have not been extensively studied in low-grade beef. Low-grade beef samples were divided into 3 groups (C: ziplock bag packaging, T1: vacuum packaging, and T2: modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), $CO_2/N_2$ = 3:7) and samples were stored at $4^{\circ}C$ for 21 days. The water-holding capacity (WHC) was significantly lower in T1 than in the other samples up to 14 days of storage. The thiobarbituric acid reactive substances and volatile basic nitrogen values were significantly lower in T1 and T2 than in C after 7 to 14 days of storage. The total bacterial counts were significantly lower in T1 and T2 than in C after 14 days of storage. In a sensory evaluation, tenderness and overall acceptability were significantly higher in T1 and T2 than in C at the end of the storage period (21 days). We propose that the MAP method can improve beef quality characteristics of low-grade beef during cold storage. However, the beneficial effects did not outweigh the cost increase to implement MAP.
