폐색 저감형 산기관의 개발 및 적용성 평가 (A study on the Development and Evaluation of Sludge Occlusion Reduced Diffuser)

  • The diffuser which is conventionally adapted to MBR, has problem that decreasing the cleaning effect of membrane module by inflexible air supply due to the occlusion of sludge from diffuser hole. To solve this problem, diffuser structure of submerged module should be improved to discharge sludge which is flow into the diffuser for prevent occlusion in the diffuser. In this study, the structure of the diffuser was reformed to open lower part for preclusion the blocking. And the outlet diameter of the diffuser was drawn through the condition for the depth of water and air rate, to prevent air-leak condition of improved diffuser. Moreover, application is evaluated by comparing test with occlusion effect of the conventional and improved diffuser. From the results, air-water boundary changes are steady with changes of water depth and it shows linear relation about air rate. By using this linear numerical formula, the height of diffuser's outlet can be decided. Also, it displays that it can prevent the occlusion effect during the comparing test. Hereafter, if this diffuser is applied to practical MBR process, the occlusion problem of diffuser will be disappeared.

  • The very rapid cooling problem from $820^{\circ}$C to $20^{\circ}$C on the surface of the steel by thermal conduction including the latent heat of phase transformation of steel and by transient boiling heat transfer of water are considered to principal problem in quenching. The transient boiling process of water at the surface of specimen during the quenching process were experimentally analyzed. Then the heat flux was numerically calculated by the numerical method of inverse heat condition problem. In this report, the simulation program to calculate the cooling curves for large rolls was made using the subcooled transient boiling curve as a boundary condition. By this simulation program, the cooling curves of rolls from D=50mm to D=200mm were calculated and the effects of agitation of circulation of water also investigated.

  • Our country was much developments in change of construction environment along with fast economy development. But, various problems that must think in problem of safety and quality were appeared. Constructions which build through rapid economy development are getting many social criticisms to problem of crack and water leakage at use process. Is situation that huge repair expense to cure this is engaged. Safety problem of construction is indicated socially through various media mediums again.

  • Built-out issue of copper processing appearing recently in the Paldang watershed is a critical problem to deteriorate the basic framework of national water management policy as well as to be simply a copper-related problem. Up to now, Korea government has invested hard and relevant upstream areas have been victimized readily in a variety of field to comply its goal of 'Safe Water Supply'. Because of the reason, the desirable water quality level of the Paldang watershed has been maintained regardless of its dense population. Paldang drinking water management policy is based on residents' understanding which is considered as a 'social capital'. The issue raised in the aspect of water quality management policy should be reviewed on the basis of the 'social capital' concept. One regarding semiconductor industry as a potential industry to export many products in 10 years insists that the industry not be a simple private business but be a prominent part for national competitiveness. There is no doubt about this opinion. However, a nation should support environmental right-to-life of its people prior to any other tasks. In other words, it is really risky to give up people's right due to economic benefits. Therefore, it should not happen to trade 'life', the dignity of man, with national competitiveness which is likely to be preferred in these days. In addition, coherent policy not to destroy 'social capital' promoting Paldang drinking water resource management policy should be maintained.

부상여재 및 모래 여과장치에 의한 조류와 탁도 제거에 관한 연구 (Study on Algae and Turbidity Removal by Floating-media and Sand Filter)

  • In Korea, almost every water treatment plant suffers from seasonal problem of algae and turbidity which result from eutrophication and heavy rainfall. To relieve this problem, experimental investigation was performed to study the applicability of a floating-media and sand filter to preliminary water treatment in terms of algae and turbidity removal. Experimental results using pure-cultured algae influent showed that the shape of algae species as well as filtration velocity affects the removal efficiency. From the experiments using natural river water, it was concluded that algae removal is more sensitive to floating-media depth but turbidity more sensitive to sand depth. As the filtration velocity increased, the removal of turbidity decreased but that of algae was not affected. The floating-media and sand filter removed more than 30 % of TP, TN, turbidity, Chl-a and CODcr, and less than 20 % of DOC and $UV_{254}$.

  • In the reinforced concrete structure, Even if speak that water leakage occurrence is no problem to material, there is a lot of reasons construction factor, material damage by behavior structure, properties of matter change by years and water leakage part by environment condition. so, waterproofing technological consideration should be gone ahead. In this research, we will study about stick performance, concrete surface adhesive, damage and blow. we will check all things and test it. The stick expansion type complex of flexible material passed on result of standard. It is conducive to concrete of durability by waterproofing layer performance demobilitation technology on the water leakage structure for solution of problem and repair

  • As the industry has been growing rapidly, the problem of environmental pollution has been on the rise seriously. In this paper, we used solar cells at the power supply unit of the equipment, which has been sold at present, for measuring the quality of water in order to complement the problem. Also, to get rid of the inconvenience that the examiners must go the job site, check and collect the polluted water we set the goal at designing the water pollution alarm system which measures the quality of water automatically using one-chip microprocessor and materializing the program.
