In the aspect of the faculty, a course coordinator plays an significant role in managing the curriculum and counseling students on academic matters and fostering their progress in the course. However, the course coordinator cannot afford to advise students on which fields of their faculty fit them and which courses they have to take. This paper proposes a mobile course coordinator system to help students learn courses of their major fields deeply. Also the proposed system is implemented by using WIPI technology, so that it is platform-independent and it is able to assist the course coordinator who is counseling students. And the students with personal cellular phones are able to keep tracking their courses, and improve their knowledge about major subjects by taking courses which the system's inference engine will advise.

As the demand of sea leisure increases recently, interest is converged sea safety and offer of quick and systematic information according to weather environment that change rapidly. Use of Electronic Navigational Chart(ENC) in the sea in offer of geography information through Mobile terminal was gone to level that run in PDA environment in domestic by bulky good physician data information and complicated processing way of island in the sea expression in sea, and is loaded in obligatory sailing equipment of ship yet and is used. In this paper, we develop server system that take charge index for offer of quick information through Restrictive resource management and Caching Technique, image conversion and database construction and fast search to service various marine leisure informations of Weather Data and so on and image information of ENC in the sea to Mobile portable phone terminal efficiently.

As growing up of elderly population, the interesting on healthcare system in normal life using W is increasing. An integrated u-healthcare service architecture with IEEE 802.11 and IEEE 802.15.4 based sensor network and code divisi(m multiple access(CDMA) public mobile telecommunication networks was designed and developed. Sensor nodes with electrocardiogram(ECG), body core temperature sensors are attached on the patients' body. The healthcare parameters are transferred to web server via CDMA mobile network or through existed LAN network. The existed LAN network is suggested to be used for continuous monitoring of patient's health status in hospital while mobile networks can be used for general purpose at home or outdoor where infra networks unavailable. This system enable healthcare personal to be able to continuously access, review, monitor and transmit the patients information whereever they are, whenever they want. And immediately check their status by using cellular phone and obtain detail information by communication with medical information server through CDMA. By using this developed integrated u-healthcare service architecture, we can monitor patients' health status for 24 hours.

Since korean mobile communication companies each use different mobile platforms, developers must configure and translate their game contents to run under each of the smart phone platforms so that they can be serviced correctly. Nevertheless, such translation tasks require lengthy times and costs. This is one of the reasons why a variety of contents could not be provided. In order to mitigate such difficulty, this paper implemented the contents analyzer and the resource converter of the automatic mobile contents converter system that converts game contents of the mobile platform such as the WIPI and the GNEX to contents of the smart platform such as the Android and the iOS. The automatic mobile contents converter system helps minimize the amount of time and cost required in servicing contents to different mobile communication companies by promptly converting platform-specific-contents to run under smart platforms. Also, the automatic conversion and servicing of existing contents increases the reusability of these contents and also the productivity of new contents thereby offering users with a more variety of game contents.

Standardization of the home-networking technologies and the home network trial has been tried to activate the home network services and develop the new business models. Home network mobile service using a cellular phone provides the control and monitoring the states of the information appliances and HA(home automation) devices through a home network gateway interworking with a home server. For this purpose, the home network mobile application in a cellular phone can automatically change the configuration of the information appliances and HA devices interworking with a home server. In this paper, we propose the home appliance auto-configuration scheme using XML for home network mobile services. The proposed scheme is implemented on WIPI of the domestic mobile platform standardization.

Mobile network environments are the environments where mobile devices are distributed invisible in our daily lives so that we can conventionally use mobile services at any time and any place. But, Mobile devices has a many security vulnerabilities caused by lower computing of devices and security problem of wireless network. So in this paper, PKI structure is proposed to minimize encrypting and decrypting operation by compounding session key and public key on WIPI environment. Proposed secure authentication system based on korean standard cryptography algorithm will give a more firmness in mobile network and support a more secure service for mobile academic information service that KISTI future plan.

XML과 웹서비스의 등장으로 전자문서 관리의 중요성이 대두되었고, 효율적인 관리를 위해 많은 기업들이 기술 개발을 해오고 있다. 그러나 웹언어나 프로토콜에 대한 공개 표준이 제정 되지 않아 기업들은 개별적으로 웹서비스를 구축하고 이는 인터넷 시장과 웹의 분열을 가져왔다. 이에 W3C에서는 웹 상호운용성을 목표로 XML표준안을 공표했다. MusicXML, MathML, CML(Chemistry Markup Language), WML(Wireless Markup Language)등은 모두 특정한 용도를 가지는 XML기반의 마크업 언어들이다. XML은 단지 웹 환경만을 위한 표준이 아니라 인터넷 전반에서 데이터를 생성, 저장, 변환하기 위한 보편적인 표준으로 자리 잡고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모바일환경과 웹 환경에서 동시 서비스가 가능한 XML 웹서비스를 구현하였다. XML 웹서비스는 인터넷 표준기술인 XML과 HTTP를 사용하는데, XML기반의 SOAP메시지를 파싱하기 위하여 WIPI와 HTML기반으로 설계, 개발하였다. 제안하는 XML Parser는 PULL모델을 변형한 이벤트 방식이다. 제안한 Parser는 모바일기기와 웹 환경에서 동시 사용가능한 인터넷 서점에 적용하였고, 제안하는 XML Parser와 기존의 Parser들과의 벤치마킹을 통해 속도비교를 함으로써 Parsing속도의 향상을 나타내었다.

The rapid progress of IT technologies promoted the foundation to offer users 'Any Time, Any Where, Any Service', and wireless internet services made it possible to use wired internet services while traveling. The previous academic administration management system having migrated from wired to wireless was dependent on mobile equipments' platform because of not being constructed on standard surroundings. And in the aspect of faculty system, course coordinator plays an significant role in building curricula and manage them, and finally counseling students with regard to them. But the course coordinator can't afford to advise students on which fields of their faculty fit them and which courses they have to take. We propose a mobile course coordinator system to help students learn profound courses of their major fields. Also the proposed system is implemented by using JAVA and WIPI technology, so that it is platform-independent. A mobile course coordinator system has an inference engine considering not only course trees which tell informations about the courses in every fields, but also personal courses that students have taken. The inference engine calculates three weights, representing the significance of each course considering every fields, the score of prerequisite courses which a student have taken, and the suitability in which department each student fits. When students apply for taking lectures, a mobile course coordinator system recommends them the most suitable courses. A mobile course coordinator system is able to substitute for the course coordinator who is counseling students. And the students with personal cellular phone are able to keep tracking their courses, and improve their knowledge about major with taking courses which the system's inference engine will advice.

개인적으로 모바일 분야에 입문한지 어느새 13년차가 되었다. 처음 흑백 휴대폰의 브라우저에서 사진이 뜨는 것을 확인하고 감격에 겨워하던 그 시절이 그립기도 하다. 하지만, 99년 이후 WAP과 WIPI로 대변되던 지난 10년간 이동통신사 중심의 국내 모바일 인터넷은 폐쇄적으로 운영되어 이전 세대의 PC통신과 다를 바 없는 비슷한 시기였다. 그 시절에도 국내 이동통신사들은 망사업자(Dummy Pipe)가 아닌 서비스 사업자 또는 플랫폼 사업자로 거듭나기 위한 원대한 꿈을 꾸고 있었다. 비록, 그들이 최근의 이동통신 시장 변화를 주도적으로 열지는 못했지만, 다양한 분야의 국내 서비스 사업자에게는 신속하게 스마트 디바이스 인프라를 널리 보급하고 있다는 점에서 더 없이 환영할 일이라고 본다. 지금부터 보안이라는 관점에서 스마트 시대를 어떻게 준비하고 활용할 것인지에 대해서 얘기해 보려고 한다.

Our goal of study is to develop an automatic carkeeping book using ZigBee Protocol. Car owner gets information of car by PDA or Mobile phone through ZigBee wireless communication network, Running distance, tuning information of car, refueling information and repair information are automatically downloaded from Gas-Station or Tuning-shop. Finally, carkeeping book is automatically recorded without typing.
