Implementation of Mobile Multi-sensor System for Measuring an Environment (환경 측정을 위한 모바일 다기능 센서의 구현)

  • The environment information such as dust, temperature, humidity, illumination and gas are very important in daily life. We implemented multi-sensor system which made for measuring an environment by using Arduino, ZigBee, and Appinventor. We also designed a packet for transmitting environment data. The data are sent to the server via ZigBee and then it communicates to a smart phone via WI-Fi. In this study, we added divers sensors, designed a protocol which made for transfer several kinds of data and improve mobility for real time monitoring by using smart phones. The system was worked well and the data was transmitted correctly to the smart phone.

  • In this work, new smart phone based moving target detection is proposed. In order to implement the task, methods of real time image transmission from network camera, motion detecting algorithm and its effective implementation are also addressed. The network camera transfers image data by MJPEG format which contains various information such as data and IP address, and the smart phone separates the image data received through a WiFi module. Later, the image data is converted to a Bitmap image format, and with the help of the embedded OpenCV library on a smart phone and algorithm, it was found that the moving object was identified effectively in terms of real time monitoring and detection.

  • WPA is a security service that greatly increases data protection and access control on WLANs. WPA uses TKIP that is secure algorithm of 802.11i and 802.1X/EAP authentication. It provides enhanced secure ability with the dynamic security key to correct WEP's weaknesses. In this paper, we obtain measured data transmission time that by how to create secure key of WPA in the wired and wireless network. The result shows that the delay of data transmission time was not long even if used WPA.

  • As the number of users of smart phone and smart pad are increasing, the deployment of WiFi APs has been accelerated. Also Internet local broadcasting service will be activated near future. But transmission error is the critical problem, due to the one-way transmission of the data to the receivers. In this paper, FER is analysed according to BER and frame length, and repetitive transmission technique is proposed to reduce the effective FER.

  • 대부분의 작업환경에서는 여러 가지 위험요소로 인한 안전사고가 자주 발생한다. 추락이나 작업환경의 붕괴 등 안전사고 발생시, 작업자가 관리자에게 응급상황을 전해야하지만, 사고로 인해 작업자가 원활하게 몸을 사용하지 못하는 경우에는 응급상황을 전달하는데 문제점이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 블루투스로 스마트폰에 응급상황을 전할 수 있는 웨어러블 단말기와 스마트폰의 WI-FI나 LTE망을 사용하여 작업자의 상황을 실시간으로 모니터링 할 수 있는 안전 시스템을 설계한다.

Exploring Smartphone-Based Indoor Navigation: A QR Code Assistance-Based Approach

  • A real-time, Indoor navigation systems utilize ultra-wide band (UWB), radio-frequency identification (RFID) and received signal strength (RSS) techniques that encompass WiFi, FM, mobile communications, and other similar technologies. These systems typically require surplus infrastructure for their implementation, which results in significantly increased costs and complexity. Therefore, as a solution to reduce the level of cost and complexity, an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and quick response (QR) codes are utilized in this paper to facilitate navigation with the assistance of a smartphone. The QR code helps to compensate for errors caused by the pedestrian dead reckoning (PDR) algorithm, thereby providing more accurate localization. The proposed algorithm having IMU in conjunction with QR code shows an accuracy of 0.64 m which is higher than existing indoor navigation techniques.

  • 국내 2.3 GHz 휴대인터넷의 본격화에 즈음하여 이동통신에서의 초고속 무선인터넷에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 기고에서는 IEEE LAN/MAN Standard Committee내에서 현재 진행중인 무선 표준 화 동향에 대해서 살펴본다. 이미 Wi-Fi라는 이름으로 상용화되어 로컬 환경에서 벗어나 고속의 서비스 및 로밍 서비스를 지원하기 위해서 진행 중인 IEEE 802.11과 각종 가전 제품들의 근거리 통신을 위한 IEEE 802.15, 그리고 차세대 무선 인터넷의 접속 기술로 각광 받고 있는 IEEE 802.16과 단말의 고속 이동을 지원하기 위한 IEEE 802,20, 그리고 마지막으로 이종 망간의 유연한 핸드오버를 지원하기 위한 IEEE 802.21의 표준 진행 결과 및 향후 전망에 대해서 주로 다룬다.   • In this paper is proposed wide band reconfiguration antenna by using PIN diode. The proposed antenna consisted of elliptical dipole and exponential taper balun. The proposed new matching method was exponential tapered balun in this paper. The research paper comprised of two PIN diode and Elliptical dipole. This paper used CPW to CPS feed. We obtained a good band width characteristics result by simulating. This antenna is designed to apply ISM and WiFi band.
