하악후퇴증 환자에서 골신장술과 하악지 시상분할 골절단술의 술 후 안정성에 관한 비교 연구 (Comparison of Postoperative Stability between Distraction Osteogenesis and Bilateral Sagittal Split Ramus Osteotomy in Mandibular Retrognathism)

  • Purpose: In general, the surgical treatment for mandibular retrognathism is represented by two methods, distraction osteogenesis (DO) and mandibular osteotomy surgery. The DO is mostly preferred when the degree of advancement of mandible is large. However, the postoperative stability of mandibular advancement using DO have not been actively investigated. Therefore, in the present study we have compared the postoperative stability between DO and bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (BSSRO) in mandibular retrognathism. Methods: Seven patients who had been treated by DO and thirteen patients with BSSRO were included in this study. Serial lateral cephalograms were analyzed by manual tracing and the amount of the mandibular elongation was measured. To evaluate the postoperative stability, positional changes of the condylar position and B point were analyzed. Results: Mean amount of mandibular advancement was $6.51{\pm}3.57mm$ for BSSRO group and $12.43{\pm}4.35mm$ for DO group, respectively. There was no significant difference in age between the two groups (P>0.05). Mean follow up periods were 10.77 months for BSSRO group and 11.28 months for DO group, respectively. After mandibular advancement, mean positional changes in the condyle were $0.56{\pm}1.43mm$ horizontally and $0.72{\pm}1.61mm$ vertically for BSSRO group and $0.53{\pm}1.56mm$ horizontally and $0.56{\pm}1.75mm$ vertically for DO group, respectively. Mean change of distance from B point to Y-axis was $-1.76{\pm}0.83mm$ for BSSRO group and $-2.14{\pm}1.82mm$ for DO group, respectively. According to the condylar position and B point, there were no significant differences in postoperative stability between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: There was no significant difference in postoperative stability between DO and BSSRO group according to condylar position and B point. Based on the results of the present study, it is hypothesized that DO would be a good treatment choice for severe mandibular retrognathism because DO could achieve more mandibular advancement and concurrent soft tissue elongation.

  • When the available sample is multiply Type-II censored, the maximum likelihood estimators of the location and the scale parameters of two-parameter exponential distribution do not admit explicitly. In this case, we propose some approximate maximum likelihood estimators by approximating the likelihood equations appropriately. We present an example to illustrate these estimation methods.

  • An estimator of coefficients of polynomial measurement error model with vector predictor and first-order interaction terms is derived using Hermite polynomial. Asymptotic normality of estimator is provided and some simulation study is performed to compare the small sample properties of derived estimator with those of OLS estimator.

트랩식물과 침투이행성 살충제를 이용한 토마토 담배가루이 성충 방제효과 (Control of Bemisia tabaci Genn. (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) Adults on Tomato Plants using Trap Plants with Systemic Insecticide)

  • 우리는 시설토마토에서 4가지 침투이행성약제가 사용된 가지를 트랩식물로 활용하여 담배가루이 성충의 방제효과를 조사하였다. 침투이행성약제가 추천된 농도로 사용되었을 때, 담배가루이 성충에 대한 dinotefuran SG 50% 방제효과는 80%로 방제효과가 각각 51.0%, 12.4%, 11.0%인 cyantraniliprole, pyridaben, clothianidin 보다 높았다. 살충효과가 뛰어난 dinotefuran을 농도별로 처리하였을 때, 200 ppm에서 살충률이 88.4%로 가장 효과적이었다. Dinotefuran의 방제효과는 가지에 적용된 약 9일까지 지속되었고 그 이후 담배가루이 밀도는 증가하였다. 포장실험에서 가지 트랩식물로부터 0, 15, 20 m 떨어진 토마토 신초에서의 담배가루이 밀도가 가장 높았고 5 m와 10 m에서 가장 낮았다. 담배가루이의 밀도가 낮고 dinotefuran SG 50%가 처리된 가지를 10 m 간격으로 투입했을 때, 담배가루이 성충의 밀도가 전체적으로 낮았으며, 또한 담배가루이의 밀도는 하우스 내부보다는 측면에서 밀도가 더 높았고 가지로부터 멀리 떨어진 곳에서 밀도가 높았다. 담배가루이 밀도가 높고 dinotefuran SG 50%가 처리된 가지를 5 m간격으로 투입했을 때, 담배가루이 밀도가 낮아졌다. 이러한 결과로 볼 때 가지는 시설토마토 재배시 담배가루이 성충을 유인하는데 효과적인 트랩식물이며 dinotefuran SG 50% 과 함께 사용한다면 담배가루이 밀도를 효과적으로 감소시킬 수 있을 것이다.

CANON 공정에서 운전조건에 따른 질소 제거효율 및 미생물군집 변화 (Variation of Nitrogen Removal Efficiency and Microbial Communities Depending on Operating Conditions of a CANON Process)

  • 질소화합물은 부영양화 등 수질을 악화시키는 결과를 초래하므로 질소 제거는 수처리에 있어 가장 중요한 문제들 중 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 독립영양탈질 공정인 CANON (Completely Autotrophic Nitrogen-removal Over Nitrite)을 이용하여 암모니아성 질소 제거 효율을 평가하고, 미생물 군집 분석을 수행하였다. AOB (Ammonium Oxidizing Bacteria)와 ANAMMOX(ANaerobic AMMonium OXidation)균을 동시에 식종하고, $37^{\circ}C$에서 유입 암모니아성 질소농도 100 mg-N/L와 아질산성 질소 농도 100 mg-N/L 조건으로 운전한 결과, 성공적인 CANON 반응이 유도되었다. 유입수에서 아질산성 질소를 제외시키고 암모니아성 질소(100 mg-N/L)만을 공급하였을 때, DO농도 0.4 mg/L 이상에서는 CANON의 성능이 악화되었지만, DO농도를 0.3 mg/L으로 낮추자 71.3%의 총 질소제거효율을 나타내었다. 유입 암모니아성 질소 농도를 50 mg-N/L로 낮추었을 때, 질소 제거효율이 급격히 악화되었다. 그러나 유입농도를 다시 100 mg-N/L로 증가시키자 14일 만에 이전의 질소제거성능을 회복하였고, 이후 $76.1{\pm}4.9%$의 총 질소제거효율을 나타냈다. 온도를 상온($20{\pm}1^{\circ}C$) 조건으로 전환하자 초기에는 불안정한 CANON 반응이 일어났지만, 23일 이후에는 안정적인 총 질소제거효율($70.0{\pm}2.6$%)을 유지하였다. PCR-DGGE를 이용한 미생물군집 분석 결과, 식종원과 CANON의 미생물군집은 확연한 차이를 나타냈지만, CANON의 각 조건에 따른 미생물군집은 크게 다르지 않았다. 따라서 질소제거 성능의 악화는 미생물군집을 구성하는 미생물종의 변화에 기인하기 보다는 구성 미생물종들의 질소제거 활성의 저하에 기인하는 것으로 생각된다. 이러한 결과는 AOB와 ANAMMOX균을 식종하여 CANON 반응을 성공적으로 유도한다면, 이후 농도나 온도의 변화에도 안정적인 미생물군집을 유지할 수 있다는 것을 의미한다.

전라남도 농촌지역의 생활환경시설 격차 분석 - 도로 및 상하수도 정비수준을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Basic Infra-Structure Disparities in Jeollanam-do Rural Areas - With Special Reference in Rural Roads, Public Water and Sewage Disposal Services -)

  • This study was carried out to analyze the disparities of basic living infrastructure between Guns(rural counties), and between Eups/Myuns(rural districts) in Jeollanam-do province. For the purpose of this study, dimensions of regional disparity in basic living structure were measured by 3 components ; road, public water service and sewage disposal. By utilizing the published statistics, this study has examined 8 Guns(counties) containing Eup and Myon in Jeollanam-do province which can represent 4 different rural areal types, respectively, i,e. mountainous, semi-mountainous, flat and seashore areas. The data acquisition time of this study is fixed on end of 2009 year in order for possible collections of the most recent published statistics. It presents evidence on the magnitude and evolution of discussion of regional disparities between Guns(counties), and between Eup & Myon, and between Myons in Jeollanam-do province even though infrastructure provision level of Jeollanam-do rural areas are much more improved than the past. Concludingly, the existing disparities in this area is meaningful and so, it should be seriously reconsidered when deciding local government's budget allocation priority.

Assessment of Soil Compaction Related to the Bulk Density with Land use Types on Arable Land

  • Soil compaction is affected by soil texture, organic matter (OM), strength (ST) and soil moisture, which is difficult to understand the degree and effects of related factors. The purpose of the study is to assess the impact of them on the compaction with bulk density (BD). The analysis was conducted with data collected from national-wide monitoring sites including 105 upland soils, 246 orchard soils, and 408 paddy soils between 2009 and 2012. The distributions of soil physical properties were measured. The correlation and multi linear regression analysis were performed between soil physical properties using SAS. The regression equation of BD(y) includes ST, gravitational water contents (GWC), and OM as variables commonly, having additional factors, clay content and sand content in paddy soil and upland soil for only subsoil (p<0.001). Our results show that the BD could be explained about 40~50% by various physical properties. The regression was mainly determined by ST in orchard and upland soil and by the GWC in paddy soil. To mitigate soil compaction, it is important to maintain the proper level of OM in upland soil and to consider the moisture condition with soil texture in paddy soil when making work plan. Furthermore, it would be recommended the management criteria classified by soil texture for the paddy soils.
