  • 현재 전력 시스템들은 폐쇄된 환경에서 각각 독립적으로 운영, 관리 되고 있다. 새로운 전력 공급원의 투입 및 예상치 않은 전력수요의 급증으로 야기되는 전력 계통의 동요 상태는 독립된 한 시스템의 데이터만으로 상황을 신속하게 예측하기가 어렵다. 따라서, 현재 동적인 전력 계통 상황에 대해 운전원들에게 신속하고 정확하게 정보를 제공하기 위해서는 기존 전력 계통운영 시스템들의 연동 및 데이터 연계의 문제를 고려하지 않을 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 현재 개발 중에 있는 Synchro-Phasor 기반의 K-AMS(Korea Wide Area Monitoring System)를 소개하고, K-WAMS와 기존 시스템들과의 데이터 연계 및 교환을 위해 IEC 61970 표준 CIM(Common Information Model)기반의 데이터 스키마 설계 방법 및 각 전력 시스템들의 데이터 통합을 위해 서비스 지향 아키텍쳐인 SOA 기반의 설계 방법을 제안한다.

  • A new way of teaching on the Internet can be called Web Based Instruction (WBI). WBI goes far above and beyond teaching in the school. It will have an impact on overall educational activity that will dramatically change many existing educational processes and persuade most teachers to change their conventional teaching methods. The main purposes of this research were to make a comparative study of academic achievement between expository lecture and web-based instruction, and to identify the difference in academic achievement of learning tasks in pre- and post- experiments of WBI. The conclusions of this study were as follows. First. there are no differences in academic achievement between expository lecture and teacher- directed web based instruction. Second, there are no differences in academic achievement between expository lecture and teacher-assisted web based instruction. Third, there is difference in academic achievement between teacher-assisted web based instruction and teacher-directed web based instruction. Fourth, there are no differences in academic achievement of reading tasks in pre- or post- experiments of teacher-directed web based instruction. On the basis of the research results and discussion, we finally present a Web-Application-Model (WAM) to encourage the usage of Internet as a useful teaching channel.

Development of High-Speed Width-Changing Pattern in Continuous Caster (연속주조기의 몰드 폭 변경 패턴 개발)

  • Four patterns for width adjustment were studied with an aim to increase the width-adjustment speed in continuous casting. The main goals are to minimize the actuating force of a WAM actuator, to develop a deformation analysis model of a solidified shell in the mold, and to induce the main limit factor for the speedup of width adjustment. On the basis of the width-adjustment experiment, the notable features of four patterns types were considered, and we compared the corresponding actuating forces. For comparing the driving forces of the patterns, during the experiment, the same casting speed was maintained for each pattern. To optimize the parameter of the deformation analysis model of the solidified shell, the experiment results were applied to them. To speed up width adjustment and to reduce the driving force, we controlled the pattern parameters. The most effective pattern was the fast-mode pattern, and the taper was the main parameter that helped reduce the driving forces during the motion of the actuator.
