  • Prediction of the performance of a carbon canister in vehicle evaporative emission control system has become an important aspect of overall fuel system development and design. A vehicle's evaporative emission control system is continuously working, even when the vehicle is not running, due to generation of vapors from the fuel tank during ambient temperature variations. Evaporative emissions from gasoline powered vehicles continue to be a major concern. The objective of this paper is to clarity the flow characteristics and other such fundamental data for the canister during loading and purging are needed, and this data will prove valuable in the development of the canister. This paper is to evaluate the relationship between carbon canister condition and engine performance during engine operation, and the effects of evaporative emissions on the engine performance were investigated.

LNG 냉열활용을 위한 초저온 열교환시스템의 축소모형에서 증발 열전달 특성 (Characteristics of Evaporation Heat Transfer in a Small-Scale Cryogenic Heat Exchange System for the Utilization of LNG Cold Energy)

  • 본 연구는 LNG냉열활용을 위해 초저온 열교환시스템을 제작하고 액화질소와 에틸렌-글리콜 수용액을 작동유체로 사용하여 증발 열전달 특성실험을 수행하였다. 초저온 열교환기는 2중관식 열교환기이며, 내부관 지름이 8, 15 mm이며 길이는 6m이다. wire-coil inserts를 사용하여 열전달촉진 성능평가를 수행하였다. 액화질소와 에틸렌-글리콜 수용액의 출입구 온도, 벽면온도, 유량, 압력을 측정하였고, 이를 증발 열전달계수와 누셀트수를 계산하는데 사용하였다. 열전달상관식을 누셀트수, 프란틀수와 등가레이놀즈수의 멱법칙관계로 제안하였고, 그 결과 열전달촉진관이 평활관보다 2.5 ${\~}$ 5.5배정도 열전달이 증가되었다. 이 상관식을 이용하여 LNG냉열이용을 위한 초저온 2중관 열교환기를 설계하였고, 그 결과로 제시하였다.

밭토양(土壤)의 칼륨형태별(形態別) 함량분포(含量分布) 및 칼륨비옥도(肥沃度) 관련지표(關聯指標) (Distribution of Potassium Fractions and Soil Parameters Related to the Potassium Availability of Upland Soils)

  • 밭토양(土壤)의 칼륨비옥도(肥沃度) 평가(評價)를 위한 토양화학적(土壤化學的) 지표설정(指漂設定)을 목적(目的)으로 원예작물(園藝作物) 재배지(栽培地)토양 66점에 대하여 형태별(形態別) 칼륨함량(含量)을 분석(分析)하여 이들 함량과 토양화학적(土壤化學的) 특성(特性) 및 칼륨유효도(有效度) 지표(指標)들과의 관계(關係)를 조사한 연구결과를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 원예작물(園藝作物) 재배지(栽培地)토양의 평균칼슘함량은 수용성(水溶性) 칼륨 0.40, 치환성(置換性)칼륨 1.03, 비치환성(非置換性)칼륨 2.37me/100g으로 매우 높은 함량을 보였고, 칼륨형태(形態) 및 함량별(含量別) 분포비율(分布比率)은 수용성(水溶性)칼륨의 경우 0.21~0.40me/100g범위에서 36.4%, 치환성(置換性)칼륨 0.51~1.00me/100g에서 51.5%, 비치환성(非置換性)칼륨 2.1~3.0me/100g에서 39.4%의 각각 높은 분포비율(分布比率)을 보였다. 2. 수용성(水溶性) 및 치환성(置換性)칼륨함량은 pH, CEC, 치환성(置換性)칼슘 및 마그네슘함량이 높을수록 낮은 값을 보였고, 비치환성(非置換性)칼륨은 CEC, 치환성(置換性)칼슘 및 마그네슘함량이 높은 토양에서 높은 경향이었다. 3. 점토함량(粘土含量)에 따른 칼륨분포비율(分布比率)은 점토함량(粘土含量)이 높을수록 치환성(置換性)칼륨함량은 다소 높아지는 경향을 보였고, 수용성(水溶性) 및 치환성(置換性)칼륨함량은 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 4. 수용성(水溶性) 및 치환성(置換性)칼륨함량은 칼륨염기당량비(鹽基當量比)[$K/{\sqrt{Ca+Mg}}:(me/100g)^{1/2}$], 칼륨치환자유(置換自由)에너지 또는 양(陽)이온치환용량(置換容量)에 대한 칼륨포화도(飽和度)($K/CEC{\times}100$)와 모두 $r=0.87^{**}$이상의 높은 상관(相關)을 보여 이들이 칼륨의 유효도(有效度)를 나타내는 적절한 지표(指標)로 판단되었다. 5. 수용성(水溶性)칼륨과 치환(置換)칼륨의 관계는 $r=0.91^{**}$의 높은 상관관계(相關關係)를 보였고, 수용성(水溶性)칼륨은 치환성(置換性)칼륨의 54%에 해당되는 증가비율(增加比率)을 보였으며 치환성(置換性)칼륨이 0.23me/100g 이상일때 수용성(水溶性)칼륨이 방출(放出)되기 시작하였다.

자탈형 콤바인의 선별모델 (Cleaning Model of Head-feeding Combine)

  • The combine harvester is considered as an important but complicated and costly machine. The appropriate size of combine has to be developed to use efficiently in Korea. But the combine is such a complicated machine that a complete design model to develop a new type is impossible without understanding the relationship between each factor. The combine capacity is generally limited by the cleaning shoe performance. So a design model for a cleaning shoe has to be developed first for the complete combine design. The objective of this research was to develop a cleaning model of head-feeding combine to predict grain separation from chaff and broken straw on a sieve. A developed physically based model can explain the situation which can happen during separation process. A test apparatus based on the field going machine was developed. The test materials were paddy rice and barley. The data obtained were analyzed by the hand and the video camera. The developed model was verified as an adequate model through the test with $R^2$ of 0.934 and 0.837. The model can be used to evaluate design and operation alternatives of combine and also applied to the automatic control of separation unit of combine with a loss monitering sensors.

초음파를 이용한 배란의 연속관찰 (Consecutive Scanning of Ovulation Via Transvaginal Sonography)

  • The ultrasonographic examination with vaginal probe(5MHz) was undertaken in 101 patients at infertility clinic of Eul-Ji General Hospital. This study was performed to evaluate the number of mature follicles per menstrual cycle, the relationship of both ovaries for consecutive ovulatory cycle and the responsiveness of follicular growth followed by administration of ovulation inductant. The results were as follows; 1. The ovulation induction group with clomiphene citrate showed more follicles than natural menstrual cycle group. 2. Each means of numbers of follicles between ovaries showed no difference between natural and ovulatory induction groups. 3. The rate of follicular growth per one menstrual cycle showed higher in the clomiphene citrate induced cycle group. 4. Clomiphene citrate induced group tends to be easier for multiple follicular growth but had no significant difference in statistics. 5. The ipsilateral Vs. contralateral follicular growth rate for consecutive menstrual cycles in both ovaries showed no significant difference between two groups.

가변 롤 성형 공정시 길이방향 변형률에 근거한 제품 형상 설계 기술 개발 (Development of Profile Design Method Based on Longitudinal Strain for Flexible Roll Forming Process)

  • The use of roll-formed products increases every year due to its advantages, such as high production rates, reduced tooling cost and improved quality. However, till now, it is limited to part profiles with constant cross section. In recent years, the flexible roll forming process, which allows variable cross sections of profiles by adaptive roll stands, was developed. In this study, an attempt to optimize profile design for the flexible roll forming process was performed. An equation that predicts the longitudinal strain for part geometries with variable cross-sections was proposed. The relationship between geometrical parameters and the longitudinal strain was analyzed and investigations on the optimal profile design were performed. Experiments were conducted with a lab-scale roll forming machine to validate the proposed equation. The results show that the profile design method proposed in this study is feasible and parts with variable cross sections can be successfully fabricated with the flexible roll forming process.

  • In generally, compared with VHF band, electromagnetic waves of UHF band have a low influence for external noise. We can detect the real abnormality with several pC in GIS using UHF method. Recently, it has applied to use the external UHF sensor attached on spacer to GIS of existing substation. In this paper, we firstly described the technique of the partial discharge measurement using frequency analysis and phase analysis in UHF band. Secondly, we presented the results of sensitivity, the relationship of dBm-pC and diagnosis of the reason of PD source by phase analysis. And then, we report the diagnosis result of partial discharge on 800kV GIS in domestic substation. rge diagnosis of GIS.

돼지 FABP3 Promoter 부위 내 신규 돌연변이 탐색과 근내지방도와의 연관성 분석 (Detection of Novel Mutations in the FABP3 Promoter Region and Association Analysis with Intramuscular Fat Content in Pigs)

  • Intramuscular fat content(lMF) is considered as one of major economic traits in the pig breeding and industry. In general, high IMF results in better meat quality. Several approaches to detect quantitative trait 10ci( QTL) for IMF indicated a strong possibility of the existence of a QTL related to IMF between the microsatellite marker SW71 and SW1881 on SSC6q. Porcine FABP3 has been considered as a candidate gene affecting IMF due to its physiological roles and position on the pig genome. Two novel mutations, g.-114T> C and g.-158T>G were detected by duplicate sequencing of the porcine FABP3 promoter region. These two mutations were identified as absolute linkage disequilibrium. The g.-158T> G mutation was used for investigating relationships with growth and fat deposition traits. The GG genotype of the g.-158T> G polymorphism showed highly negative effects(P< 0.01) on body weights at 3 and 12 weeks of age, and a positive effect(P< 0.05) on IMF. However, backfat thickness(BF) and carcass fat(CF) content were not significantly associated with the genotype. The result indicates that the novel mutations, identified in this study, could be utilized as possible genetic markers to improve IMF, independent with BF.

북방대합, Spisula sachalinensis의 실내채묘 및 치패의 성장 (Studies on the Collection and Growth of Spat Surf clam, Spisula sachalinensis in the)

  • 이 연구에서는 북방대합의 안정적인 인공 종묘생산을 위한 기초지식을 얻고자 채묘방법과 치패의 성장 및 사육 방법에 따른 성장과 생존율을 조사하였다. 채묘는 모래저질이 효과적이었으며, 특히 모래입자가 250 $\mu\textrm{m}$이하의 초미세사질에서 높은 성장과 생존율을 보였다. 각장 1.4 mm의 치패는 30일째에 4.6 mm로, 50일째에 8.2 mm로 성장하였으며, 각장(SL)에 대한 각고(SH), 각폭(SB), 전중(TW) 및 각중(SW)의 상대성장식은 아래와 같았다. 각고의 상대성장식 SH : 0.7351SL+0.2272 (r$^2$ : 0.9600) 각폭의 상대성장식 SB : 0.4037SL+0.2112 (r$^2$ : 0.9452) 전중의 상대성장식 W : 0.2824SL$\^$2.7020/ (r$^2$ : 0.9820) 각중의 상대성장식 SW : 0.4021SL$\^$2.0217/ (r$^2$ : 0.6169) 치패 사육을 위한 저질은 미세사질이 효과적이었으며,1∼2개체/$\textrm{cm}^2$의 밀도에서 성장과 생존율이 양호하였다. 먹이생물은 C. calcitrans가 가장 빠른 성장을 보였으며, 다음으로 혼합구와 I. galbana, P. lutheri, T. suecica 순 이었다.

참깨 품종개량에 관한 연구 제2보 지역차이 및 기상환경에 따른 참깨 지방산변화 (Breeding of Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) for Oil Quality Improvement II. FattyAcid Composition of Sesame Seeds under Different Climatic Conditions and Locations)

  • 참깨 재배지역 차이에 따른 품종문제를 추적하여 본 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻였다. 1. 참깨 재배지역에 따른 품질은 남부지역에서 생산된 것보다 중북부지역에서 생산된 것이 리놀산함량이 많았다. 2. 러놀산함량은 등열기간 중 적산온도와 r =-0.595**의 부상관관계를 일사량과는 r=0.613**의 정상관을 보여서 등열기간의 적산온도가 낮고 일사양이 많으며 강우량도 많은 조건에서 리놀산함량 높았다. 3. 오레인산함량에서는 리놀산의 경우와 달리 남부지방에서 생산된 참깨가 중북부산 참깨보다 오레인산함량이 더 높았다. 4. 오레인산함량은 등숙기간 중 적정평균 온도와 r=0.644**의 정상관관계를 일사량과는 r=-0.456**의 부상관 관계를 보였다. 5. 참깨 지방산중 오레인산과 리놀산함량은 이두 지방산함량이 대부분 차지하고 있음으로 서로 상대적인 함량관계를 가지고 있는 경향이다. 6. 참깨의 유질은 주산지인 남부보다 중북부산 참깨의 품질이 더 우수하다.
