절화 리시안셔스 및 심비디움의 1-MCP 처리 시간에 따른 품질 유지 효과에 관한 연구 (A study on postharvest quality of cut Eustoma and Cymbidium flower with different duration of 1-MCP treatments)

  • 에틸렌 활성 저해제인 1-methylcyclopropene(1-MCP)는 기체 물질로 에틸렌의 수용체 결합을 막아 노화 및 위조를 지연시킨다. 본 연구에서는 리시안셔스 'Voyage'와 심비디움 'Lapine Hat'에 다양한 1-MCP 전처리 기간(0시간(대조구), 1시간, 4시간)을 두어 수확 후 품질을 조사하였다. 리시안셔스 'Voyage'에서 1-MCP 4시간 처리 시 수분 흡수율은 14.5%로 대조구(9.8%)에 비하여 높았으며, 화폭은 3-11일 동안 가장 길게 유지되었다. 두 품종 모두 절화 수명은 1-MCP 처리 시간의 영향을 받지 않았다. 1-MCP 처리는 절화의 종류와 품종에 따라 미치는 영향이 상이하였으며, 전처리 효과를 극대화하기 위해서는 처리 기간과 농도의 복합 연구가 더욱 요구된다.

  • 적정 규모의 컨테이너선박을 선택하여 노선에 투입시키는 것은 선사의 경쟁력 측면에서 큰 부분을 차지하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 대형 정기선사 운영노선에서의 최적 선형을 도출하고자 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 먼저 선사들의 주 간선노선인 '유럽-극동', '극동 북미', '유럽 극동 북-미' 노선을 대상으로 선박 운항시 발생되는 자본비, 운영비, 항해비, 항만비, 기타비용에 의한 총 운항비용을 산출하며, 산출된 총 운항 비용과 선형별 Slot수 및 평균 처리물동량을 이용하여 노선별 최적선형을 도출한다.

Estimation of local ice load by analyzing shear strain data from the IBRV ARAON's 2016 Arctic voyage

  • The icebreaking research vessel ARAON performed ice field tests during her 2016 Arctic voyage. The ship is subjected to ice loads through ice-ship interaction processes. Local ice load acting on ARAON's bow section was measured by using stain gauges installed on the inner hull plates and transverse frames of bow section. In this paper the local ice loads at transverse frames estimated from shear strain data were compared to ice loads from hull plate pressures by using the influence coefficient method. In addition to the analysis of local ice loads, the characteristics of peak ice loads with the ship speed is also discussed. It is recommended that the local ice loads estimated by calculating shear forces acting on transverse frames may be useful in estimating local ice loads on the hull of ship.

쇄빙연구선 ARAON호의 남극해 쇄빙운항 중 계측된 스트레인게이지 데이터 분석 (Analysis of Strain Gauge Data Onboard the IBRV ARAON during Icebreaking Voyage in the Antarctic Sea Ice)

  • Estimation of correct ice load under various operating conditions is important during the design and the operation stages of an icebreaker. Normal operating conditions are expected from the official field ice trials and also from general ice transit action. In this paper ice load for the Korean icebreaking research vessel, ARAON, under normal operating condition, is discussed. Published ice load data from full-scale sea trials of six icebreakers were analysed to derive an empirical ice load prediction formula. The IBRV ARAON had sea ice trials during 2010 and 2012 summer season. Strain gauge signal were recorded during her icebreaking voyage and the measured strain data were converted to the equivalent hull stress values. The effect of ARAON's speed in ice and the hull stresses are investigated. By comparing the empirical formula and ice load calculation based von measured data, it is recommended to use the empirical ice load estimation formula for the initial design stage.

  • 본 연구는 미적분학의 입실론-텔타(${\epsilon}-{\delta}$)에 의한 엄밀한 함수의 극한값 구하기를 좀 더 직관적이며 시각화를 이용한 지도 방안을 탐색해 보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 Texas Instruments의 Voyage200 CAS 그래핑 계산기의 임베디드 시각화를 활용하여 미적분학 지도에서 공학 활용의 가능성을 제기하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 개념이미지와 개념정의, 인지적 갈등, 미적분 개념에 대한 공학과 시각화의 활용, APOS 이론, 그리고 국소적 수평화를 중심으로 이론적 고찰을 실시했다. 이러한 이론적 고찰을 토대로 CAS 그래핑 계산기의 임베디드 시각화를 활용하여 함수의 극한을 구하는 지도 방안을 구현하였다.

Study on Small Vessel′s Pseudo-AIS Interoperable with Universal AIS

  • Universal AIS, which has been adopted officially for automatic identification systems among regulated ships by SOLAS, should be installed, for example, on all passenger ships over 300 tons engaged in international voyage and over 500 tons in domestic voyage, sequentially from 2002 to 2004. We must not overlook the fact than-ruled regions by regional authorities in the case of VTS. Actually a major portion of accidents have happened in small vessels like fishing vessels. However, they are not equipped with automatic identification tools, due to the high costs of the equipment for identifying purposes, as well as the absence of regulation In this paper, we researched the alternative of automatic identification for small vessel instead of universal AIS. We analyzed the requirement of automatic identification for small vessel about wireless communication method, traffic volume, etc. We proposed the identification system for small vessels in local areas and developed the Local Vessel Identification System (LVIS) interoperable with universal AIS using a PDA platform and wireless network.

  • Hull forms of Jiao Yi Ship for shipping and foreign trade in Silla and Tang Dynasty were transformed and developed in accordance to their voyage and rational routes. The trade ship was a sea ship, used by Chang Po Go's, the Silla great sea merchant ship, in the marine trade with China during the 8th and 9th century. It is not easy to presume the hull type and trade formal of Chang Po Go's Jiao Yi Ship of the 8th and 9th Century. Studying on the ship type of the trade ship is the urgent problem to be solved, in the sphere of leaning about the history of communication between China and Korea. The authors take the initial prove into this subjects, by researching Chang Po Go's marine activities, and point out that the trade ship's original type should be the Sha Ship which was the sea ship sailing th sea in northern China, in the Tang Dynasty. This study aims to present materials concerning hull forms of Chang Po Go's Jian Yi Ship by analysing ancient voyage history, foreign trade history, and ship history of Silla, Tang and Japan during the 8th and 9th century.

2009년 협회적하약관상 보험기간에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Duration of Cover in the Institute Cargo Clauses 2009)

  • This article intends to examine main features of revision in relation to the duration of cover in the Institute Cargo Clauses 2009 and the results of analysis are as followings. First, the cover, which had been "warehouse to warehouse", has been extended to what may be called "shelf to unloading". Thus the insurance attaches when the goods are first moved within the warehouse or place of storage at the named place for the purpose of immediate loading for the commencement of transit. Secondly, the new termination Clause 8.1.3 requires an election by the assured, or their employees, to use a vehicle or container, for storage other than in the ordinary course of transit. Thirdly, Clause 10.1, which deals with the assured's voluntary change of voyage, was amended to solve the problem that the words "held covered" could be misunderstood by an assured without specialist knowledge of English marine insurance law to be a guarantee of cover, even where cover would not be commercially available. Finally, Clause 10.2 is designed to solve the so-called "phantom ship problem", arising from the harsh decision in The Prestrioka. The new Clause 10.2 provides protection for an innocent assured in the situation of a phantom ship.

  • 고유가 시대에 정보시스템의 발달과 더불어 안전하고 경제적인 항해계획의 수립을 지원하는 시스템에 대한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 이에 저자들이 개발한 최적항로평가시스템에 대하여 그 개발 내용 및 적용 사례를 소개한다. 기상예보데이터를 이용하여 소요시간 및 연료소모량 관점에서 최적화된 항해 계획을 생성하며, Parametric roll 을 포함한 각종 내항성능 지표를 정량적으로 평가하여, 항해자로 하여금 항해의 안전성 및 경제성 관점에서 최적화된 항해 계획을 수립하도록 지원하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템의 유효성은 실 항해중 적용한 사례 및 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해서 검증하였다.
