The purpose of this study is to examine the motivation of elderly people to participate in volunteer activities and to analyze the effect of participation motivation on satisfaction with volunteer activities of them. The 297 questionnaires which were collected from persons over 60 years old who were doing voluntary service activity in welfare center for the aged, Silver police in Goyang and Paju city. The frequency, factor and regression analysis were used for the research. The results are as follows: First, the motivations to participate in volunteer activities had four factors: self-realization, social activities, social responsibility, and personal achievements, and these factors had positive effect on satisfaction with volunteer activities. Second, the motivation to participation in volunteer activities and the degree of satisfaction with them were found to be different in accordance with age, education, income, religion and health.
The purpose of this study is to explore the potential of digital graffiti as a new creative tool in fashion through analysis of its expressive features and methods merged in fashion. The results from the analysis of fashion cases using digital graffiti may be summarized as follows. First, 'Mixing of Materials and Non-materials' matched immaterial lights and images with physical clothing materials and space, effectively expressing imaginary spheres that were not expressible with the existing materials. Second, 'Fantastic Storytelling' expressed theme such as 'Sun', 'UFO', 'Science Fiction Film', 'Fantasy Fairy Tale', and 'Universe' through lasers, lights, augmented reality and LED graffiti. Third, 'Convergence with Human and Digital Media' accentuated the active participation of spectators thereby causing human and digital media to interact with each other. Designer's ideas and unexpected responses of spectators realized various digital graffiti effects, which came across by sheer chance. Fourth, 'Utilizing of Site-Specificity' met with the best results when the digital graffiti was expressed in context of a place or location where fashion performance is taking place. Fifth, ' Playfulness by Consumer Participation' intended to induce voluntary participation from consumers by providing the fashion digital graffiti as play tools, and created new fashion digital graffiti or altered existing stereotypes, thereby invoking new visual and tactile experiences. Likewise, today's digital graffiti are emerging in various fields, and the trend of fashion-digital graffiti integration has already created interesting works.
The purpose of this study is to explain the long term growth and development of elementary teachers' Professional Learning Communities(PLC) about mathematics implemented on an institutional basis. Especially, it is meaningful to analyze and present the development process and characteristics of PLC, which was started by the basis on the collaboration of a National University of Education and its affiliated elementary school. In this study, PLC activities during three years were analyzed according to the capacities and dimensions of a professional learning community. The developmental capacity of the PLC analyzed in this study can be summarized as follows. In the first year, development of organizational competence in terms of capacity, resources, structure, and system of exchanges was the main factor in personal competence, and the development of individual competence began to share collective learning and practice. In the second year, personal exchanges were active in all the topics of activities, and personal level competence was activated such that more activities of critical knowledge formation were performed on an individual level. On the basis of the development of the individual level formed in the second, individual competence and organizational capacity developed. Factors that have influenced the development of capacities of PLC include: disclosure of activities outside the community, participation in outsiders, provision of procedures to share equal participation and leadership, voluntary and critical participation of teachers, improvement of mathematics teaching methods, sharing themes and visions.
The study seeks to present ways to form and express political opinions while monitoring, regulating and critically accepting the production and distribution of false information and platforms, which are spread channels, through the participation of citizens. First, it logically identified the unfairness of legal regulations on false information. In other words, it is often practically impossible to judge whether false information is false or not, and even false information can sometimes fall within the category of freedom of expression protection. It also revealed that voluntary regulation by platform operators was limited. As an alternative, it was theoretically clear whether civil society should participate in the maintenance and development of democratic public debate sites and create social discourse. The specific method is to find and classify false information and share it with citizens to raise awareness. Second, it forms an autonomous cooperative system with platform operators and others. Third, develop critical media capacity of citizens. Fourth, it responds to producers and platform operators of false information while engaging in community activities as a direct practitioner.
Local governments' spatial information policies are very important in that it can increase the relatedness to upper policy regarding the share, openness and converged utilization of spatial information and contribute to voluntary participation and creative uses linked to big data. However, local governments' spatial information policies require enhancement since it need to update framework spatial data, to derive spatial information service and to share the data. In this research, we compared the spatial information policies and related systems of central and local governments, and analyzed the local governments' spatial information policy enforcement plans and the Seoul metropolitan government's utilization survey on 32 spatial information systems. In the result, for the improvement of local governments' spatial policies, on-demand updating of base map using the as built drawings linked to field work departments, securing up-to-date public domain spatial information through the NSDI system, sharing of spatial information based on the spatial information platform and benchmarking of best practices related to the spatial information based policy participation are suggested.

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors related to leisure time to understand middle-aged one-person households. Data are from the recent survey of lifetime use in 2014 by Statistics Korea(N=1,138). Middle-aged one-person households aged 40-59 years were categorized into four groups by marital status (unmarried/married/widowed/divorced). Major results were found as follows: First, the total leisure time per day was 238 min in the middle-aged one-person households. The majority of the total leisure time was spent on 'fellowship & leisure activities'(204 min on weekdays, 283 min on weekends). Especially, time spent on real-time TV watching hours was the longest, as long as 89 min on weekday and 150 min on weekends. Second, gender differences were significant in terms of leisure time use in the middle-aged one-person households. Females spent less time on leisure than their male counterparts on both weekdays and weekends. In addition, gender differences related to marital status were significant. Third, on weekdays, the determinants of leisure time use among the middle-aged one-person households were health and type of employment for 'participation & volunteer activities', and gender, age, marital status, and type of employment variables for 'fellowship & leisure activities.' On weekends, time spent on 'participation & volunteer activities' were influenced by marital status, residential area, and type of employment, while time spent on 'fellowship & leisure activities' were significantly related to gender, type of employment, type of job, holiday system, and income.

This study is on the practice and limitation of the environment improvement project in the delinquent residential areas implemented as part of the urban restoration project that this study was carried out with the subject of the Saeddeul Village Project in Balhan Dongmunsan District of Donghae City that is implemented as part of resident-participating urban rehabilitation that has emerged as a socially important issue. In particular, at a time the issues of increasing senior population and poverty resulted thereof have surfaced in the society that this study has taken a look at the characteristics in the planning and practice process in the Saeddeul Village Project area for the purpose of improving the mental health. In the planning process and practice process, those human-care project and resident competency strengthening projects, together with physical environment improvement, are implemented, and the contents implemented by respective project are purported to establish the community identity through voluntary participation of local residents together with the environment improvement of the villages on the basis of resident participation as well as leading the economic independence by the village with its own discretion. However, the limitations in the practice process and exposure of problems that may be experienced in the field have made difficulties in such approach and provokes the difficulties of project performance depending on the conflicts in community constituents. Under such a relationship, it is required to have the endeavors to facilitate the community and solution of issued, and this study presents the need of access for revitalizing the regional welfare system.
Donation-based crowdfunding(DBC) is conducted from voluntary participation by project operators. It requires a different operational strategy than general crowdfunding. However, there is a limited amount of research on the operational strategy of DBC. This study explores the value co-creation(VCC) strategy of DBC and analyzes the operation of DonorsChoose.org. The research questions encompass the following: First, we identify the VCC activities of DBC. Second, we uncover activities of the platform operators that facilitate the participation of project operators in VCC activities. Third, we explore how VCC activities affect project operational performance and platform performance in DBC. By adopting a single case study method on DonorsChoose.org, this study provides meaningful insight and detailed understanding into the VCC in DBC. First, VCC processes of DBC are identified(Co-ideation, Co-design, Co-funding, Co-operation, and Co-evaluation). Also, interactions between platform operators and project operators were defined at each stage. Second, this study confirmed that standardization and simplification of platform operators, support for pre- and post-activity, and high-quality information delivery activities were critical. Third, we confirm that these VCC activities improve VCC operational performance and platform performance. The theoretical significance of this study is that the concept of VCC, previously concentrated on participants with economic drivers(consumers and investors), has been applied to the context of DBC, a form of participation by participants with non-economic drivers(supporters and donors). In addition, this study practically contributes to the practice of VCC strategy among various platform operating strategies in DBC.

The purpose of this study was to examine the factors associated with adolescents' attitude toward volunteer activities. Analyses of data provided by 450 adolescents attending secondary schools in Gyeongnam Province suggested the following results. First, adolescents' attitude toward volunteer activities differed by gender, religion, and academic grades. Adolescents who were girls, who had religions, and whose academic grades were higher showed higher levels of positive attitude toward volunteer activities than their counterparts who were boys, who did not have religion and whose academic standing was lower. Second, adolescents' attitude toward volunteer activities significantly differed by the family factor. To be specific, parental attention, parental support and family's participation in volunteer work made differences to the adolescents' attitude toward volunteer activities. Third, the adolescents took significantly different attitudes toward voluntary activities according to the school factor. Significant differences were found according to attention and support from teachers. The students whose teachers had more interest in voluntary service and whose teachers offered more aid took a more positive attitude to voluntary service. Forth, some of the personal, family, and school factors were associated with adolescents' attitude toward volunteer activities. Among the personal factors, gender, religion, academic standing, and morality were associated with dolescents' attitude toward volunteer activities. Those who were girls, who were religious, whose academic standing was higher, and who were more moral took a more positive attitude toward volunteer activities. Among family and school factors, parental attention/support and attention and support from teachers affected the voluntary service attitude of the adolescents. The students whose parents had more interest and gave more support and whose teachers showed more interest and offered more support took a more positive attitude toward volunteer activities. Therefore parental attention and support were identified as the variable to make the best prediction of the adolescents' positive attitude toward volunteer activities.

Although the $6^{th}$ industry of agriculture, the subject of this research, is a policy that is implemented nationwide, the result or its performance can vary depending on judgment and basic plan of the local government concerned. To overcome this, support of the central government and provincial governments is important, but each rural family, rural area or management unit also has to grasp the reality fast and overcome it through voluntary participation. In addition, local governments of the nation should operate this project efficiently by implementing required support and policies in each field. Local governments should also promote revitalization of local economy by providing help to rural families and management units that implement the $6^{th}$ industry of agriculture through expert consulting, matching of funding paths, and deregulation.
