낙동강 하도의 유사수지 분석을 통한 자연적 그리고 인위적 하상변동 분석(4대강살리기 사업 이전) (Natural and Artificial Bed Change Analysis through Sediment Budget Analysis of Nakdong River Channel (before the Four Rivers Restoration Project))

  • 본 논문에서는 지난 20여 년간의 낙동강 하상변동 자료와 준설 및 골재채취 자료, 그리고 지류로부터 유입되는 유사량 관측 자료 및 수치모의 자료 등을 조사, 검토, 분석하여 4대강살리기 사업 전의 낙동강 하도에서의 개괄적인 유사수지 특성을 분석하였다. 4대강살리기 사업 전 낙동강 하도의 유사수지분석 결과, 유역에서 하도로 유입된 유사량은 $2,100,000m^3/yr$이며 낙동강으로부터 유출 또는 준설된 유사유출 총량은 $10,180,000m^3/yr$인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유사수지 분석을 통해 산정된 낙동강 하도에서의 하상변동량은 $-8,080,000m^3/yr$으로 하상이 침식된 것으로 나타났으며 이는 실제 하도측량 자료 분석을 통해 도출된 낙동강 본류의 자연적 그리고 인위적인 하상변동량($-8,300,000m^3/yr$)과 유사한 것으로 나타났다.

Point cloud와 solid model을 기반으로 한 단일수목 입체적 정량화기법 연구 (3D Measurement Method Based on Point Cloud and Solid Model for Urban SingleTrees)

  • 수목을 3차원 구조로 정량화하는 것은 다양한 환경분석 모델링의 입력 자료로써 매우 중요하다. 그러나 3차원 측량이 가능한 라이다는 고비용과 전문인력이 필요해 파편화된 소규모의 도시녹지를 측량하기에는 경제적 장비운용적 차원에서 현실적이지 않다. 또한 수목은 계절에 따라 민감하게 변화하므로 시계열 모니터링으로 도시생태계를 이해하려면 높은 빈도로 쉽고 빠르게 수관구조를 측량할 수 있는 디바이스와 이에 맞는 정량화기법의 개발이 필요하다. 환경분석 모델링의 입력 자료로써의 필요가 아니더라도, 도시내 수목의 크기와 나이는 관리비용, 생태계서비스, 경관, 안전 등과 직결되므로 반드시 정보화될 필요성이 있다. 본 연구에서는 도시내 수목의 3차원 환경정보 데이터를 생성하기 위한 디바이스와 방법론으로써 UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)와 SfM-MVS(Structure from Motion-Multi View Stereo), solid modeling을 제시하였다. 따라서 제시된 device와 방법론의 검증을 목표로 하여 다음과 같이 분석을 수행하였다. 첫째, stereo image들로부터 생성된 point cloud로 측량한 결과의 정확도를 지상 라이다 자료와 비교 검증하였다. 두 번째, UAV촬영 사진개수를 감소시킴에 따라 변화하는 point cloud의 밀도가 수목의 부피 및 크기 정량화 결과에 어떤 영향을 주는지를 살펴봄으로써 고해상도의 point cloud가 정밀한 수목 측량에 꼭 필요한 요소인지를 확인하여 보았다. 마지막으로, 수목 부피의 정량화 및 형상화를 위해 solid model이 얼마나 적합한가를 검증하고자 다른 3D type의 측정치와 비교하였다. 분석의 결과를 통해, UAV와 SfM-MVS 그리고 solid model을 이용하면 단일수목을 손쉽게 저비용 높은 시간해상도로 정량화 및 형상화가 가능함을 확인하였다. 다만, 본 연구는 단일 개체목만을 대상으로 한 연구이므로 더 넓은 녹지에 적용하기 위해서는 이에 맞는 비행계획의 수립, 다양한 공간정보 데이터와의 융합, 녹지규모 확대에 따른 정량화 기법의 개선 등 앞으로 이를 발전시킬 수 있는 후속연구가 필요하다.

간선도로 기능별 보행사고 심각도 분석과 모형 개발 (Pedestrian Accident Severity Analysis and Modeling by Arterial Road Function)

  • PURPOSES: The purposes are to analyze the pedestrian accident severity and to develop the accident models by arterial road function. METHODS: To analyze the accident, count data and ordered logit models are utilized in this study. In pursuing the above, this study uses pedestrian accident data from 2007 to 2011 in Cheongju. RESULTS : The main results are as follows. First, daytime, Tue.Wed.Thu., over-speeding, male pedestrian over 65 old are selected as the independent variables to increase pedestrian accident severity. Second, as the accident models of main and minor arterial roads, the negative binomial models are developed, which are analyzed to be statistically significant. Third, such the main variables related to pedestrian accidents as traffic and pedestrian volume, road width, number of exit/entry are adopted in the models. Finally, Such the policy guidelines as the installation of pedestrian fence, speed hump and crosswalks with pedestrian refuge area, designated pedestrian zone, and others are suggested for accident reduction. CONCLUSIONS: This study analyzed the pedestrian accident severity, and developed the negative binomial accident models. The results of this study expected to give some implications to the pedestrian safety improvement in Cheongju.

인장하중에 의한 Al 합금내 크랙형성 복합상의 자동검출 및 정량분석 (Automatic Detection and Characterization of Cracked Constituent Particles/Inclusions in Al-Alloys under Uniaxial Tensile Loading)

  • The detailed quantitative microstructural data on the cracking of coarse constituent particles in 7075 (T651) series wrought Al-alloys have been studied using the utility of a novel digital image processing technique, where the particle cracks are generated due to monotonic loading. The microstructural parameters such as number density, volume fraction, size distribution, first nearest neighbor distribution, and two-point correlation function have been quantitatively characterized using the developed technique and such data are very useful to verify and study the theoretical models for the damage evolution and fracture of Al-alloys. The data suggests useful relationships for damage modeling such as a linear relationship between particle cracking and strain exists for the uniaxial tensile loading condition, where the larger particles crack preferentially.

Impulse Buying: The Influence of Impulse Buying Tendency, Urge to Buy and Gender on Impulse Buying of the Retail Customers

  • Purpose: The main purpose of this research is to examine the effect of impulse buying tendencies toward impulse buying, which is mediated by an urge to buy and moderated by the gender of the retail customers. Research design, data and methodology: This study uses a survey design. The sample consisted of several mall customers in Yogyakarta. Purposive sampling was used as the sampling technique. Data collection was carried out in two ways, distributing questionnaires online and directly giving questionnaires to mall customers. Results: The results of data analysis using structural equation modeling show that: 1). Impulse buying tendencies have a positive and significant effect on the urge to buy and impulse buying, 2). The effect of impulse buying tendencies on impulse buying were mediated by an urge to buy and moderated by gender. Conclusions: Theoretical implications of this research strengthen the concept/theory concerning the relationship of the impulse buying tendencies, urge to buy and impulse buying. The results of the study have some managerial implications. It can be used to reference retail store business in increasing the volume of retail customers purchases through impulse buying. The retail businesses can increase impulse buying which will trigger impulsive purchases and the company's sales and profitability

유튜브에 나타난 슬로우 패션의 빅데이터 분석 (A Study of Slow Fashion on YouTube Through Big Data Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the word distribution and topic distribution of slow fashion appearing on YouTube in detail and identify the characteristics and aspects related to fashion design through big data analysis and content analysis methods. The specific research results were as follows. First, in the results of the word distribution analysis, "item" appeared the most, 203 times. Also, "one-piece" was a point to pay attention to, as the item had the highest frequency. Second, a total of 5 topics were defined in the topic distribution analysis: topic 1 was "vintage products," topic 2 was "fashion items," topic 3 was "eco-friendly," topic 4 was "life quality emphasis," and topic 5 was "prudent consumption." Third, looking at the relationship between word distribution and topic distribution above, Korean slow fashion on YouTube was actively selecting related design elements that express vintage images in clothing life regardless of trends. In addition, there was a tendency to pursue various basic and high-quality items. Other than those findings, basic items tended to be reinterpreted in various ways through styling methods matched to the vintage image. Lastly, the tendency of slow and small-volume production appeared to emphasize handicrafts and the cultural values of fashion products.

Hybrid RANS/LES simulations of a bluff-body flow

  • A hybrid RANS/LES approach, based on the Limited Numerical Scales concept, is applied to the numerical simulation of the flow around a square cylinder. The key feature of this approach is a blending between two eddy-viscosities, one given by the $k-{\varepsilon}$ RANS model and the other by the Smagorinsky LES closure. A mixed finite-element/finite-volume formulation is used for the numerical discretization on unstructured grids. The results obtained with the hybrid approach are compared with those given by RANS and LES simulations for three different grid resolutions; comparisons with experimental data and numerical results in the literature are also provided. It is shown that, if the grid resolution is adequate for LES, the hybrid model recovers the LES accuracy. For coarser grid resolutions, the blending criterion appears to be effective to improve the accuracy of the results with respect to both LES and RANS simulations.

혁신특성의 영향요소가 성공적인 EDI의 구현에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Factors affecting Innovation Characteristics on EDI Implementation Success)

  • The evolution of EDI has opened the flexible and efficient way for business to conduct a greater portion of the routine buyer-seller business activities online. This study focuses on the role of factors that change the innovation characteristics for implementation success of EDI. Three factors promotional efforts, proactive implementation strategy, and provision of technical expertise are proposed to affect EDI implementation success, as these factors directly influence three general and most important attributes of innovation relative advantage, compatibility, and complexity respectively. Hypotheses indicate that promotional efforts, proactive implementation strategy, and provision of technical expertise directly affect EDI implementation success that is represented by three variables volume, depth, and diversity. A structural equation modeling approach(LISREL) is used to analyze data from EDI adopters. The results show that proactive implementation strategy and provision of technical expertise positively affect implementation success of EDI. Given the significant impact of the wide spread use of the EDI system, this study offers quite useful insights on the factors facilitating innovation characteristics under which EDI can be successfully diffused in organizations.

Numerical Analysis on Letdown System Performance Test for YGN 3

  • Integrated performance test of Chemical and Volume Control System was successfully performed in 1994. However, an extensive effort to correct hardware and software problems in the letdown line was required mainly due to the lack of adequate simulation code to predict the test accurately. Although the LTC computer code was used during the YGN 3'||'&'||'4 NSSS design process, the code can not satisfactorily predict the test due to it insufficient letdown line modeling. This study developed a numerical model to simulate the letdown test by modifying the current LTC code, and then verified the model by comparing with the test data. The comparison shows that the modified LTC computer code can predict the transient behavior of letdown system lese very well. Especially, the model was verified to be able to predict the "Stiction (composition of stick and friction)" phenomena which caused instantaneous fluctuations in the letdown backpressure and flowrate. Therefore, it is concluded that the modified LTC computer code with the ability of calculating the "Stiction" phenomena will be very useful for future plant design and test predictions.predictions.

군중 시뮬레이션을 위한 그래프기반 모션합성에서의 충돌감지 (Detecting Collisions in Graph-Driven Motion Synthesis for Crowd Simulation)

  • 본 논문에서는 모션켑쳐데이타를 이용한 두 캐릭터간의 빠른 충돌감지에 대한 연구를 논의한다. 본 연구의 목적이 군중 시뮬레이션이기 때문에, 제안한 알고리즘은 캐릭터를 실린더 형태로 모델링 한 후에 Rough한 충돌감지를 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 계층적인 바운딩 박스 데이타 구조인 MOBB를 제안한다. MOBB는 모션클립에 대한 시공간 바운딩 박스이며, 제안된 알고리즘에 대한 테스트 결과 2배 이상의 속도 향상이 있음을 밝힌다.
