  • Oscillations in a sunspot are easily detected through the Doppler velocity observation. Although the sunspot oscillations look erratic, the wavelet analysis show that they consist of successive wave packets which have strong power near three or five minutes. Previous studies found that 3-min oscillation at the chromosphere is a visual pattern of upward propagating acoustic waves along the magnetic field lines. Resent multi-height observations help this like vertical study, however, we also focus on horizontal facet to extend three dimensional understand of sunspot waves. So, we investigate a fragmented sunspot expected to have complex wave profiles according to the positions in the sunspot observed by the Fast Imaging Solar Spectrograph. We choose 4 points at different umbral cores as sampling positions to determine coherence of oscillations. The sets of cross-correlation with three and five minutes bandpass filters during a single wave packet reveal interesting results. Na I line show weak correlations with some lags, but Fe I and Ni I have strong correlations with no phase difference over the sunspots. It is more remarkable at Ni I line with 3-min bandpass that all sets of cross-correlation look like the autocorrelation. We can interpret this as sunspot oscillations occur spontaneously over a sunspot at photosphere but not at chromosphere. It implies a larger or deeper origin of 3-min sunspot oscillation.

  • We present newly discovered dwarf galaxy candidates in deep wide-field images of NGC 1291 obtained with KMTNet. We initially identify 20 dwarf galaxy candidates through visual inspection. 13 out of 20 appears to be high priority candidates, according to their central surface brightness (${\mu}_{0,R}{\sim}22.5$ to $26.5mag\;arcsec^{-2}$) and effective radii (350 pc to 1 kpc). Structural and photometric properties of dwarf candidates appear to be consistent with those of ordinary dwarf galaxies in nearby groups and clusters. Using imaging simulations, we demonstrate that our imaging data is complete up to $26mag\;arcsec^{-2}$ with > 70% of the completeness rate. In order to find an optimal way to automate detecting dwarf galaxies in our dataset, we test detection methods by varying parameters in SExtractor. We find that the detection efficiency from the automated method is relatively low and the contamination due to the artifacts is non-negligible. Therefore, it can be only applicable for pre-selection. We plan to conduct the same analysis for deep images of other nearby galaxies obtained through KMTNet Nearby Galaxy Survey (KNGS).

  • This study aims to investigate the impact of green corporate identity and employees' green identification on green business performance of international automobile manufacturers in Thailand. It involves 400 employees from the target study area, using questionnaires to collect data from January to February 2021, with purposive and convenient sampling methods. Data analysis employed structural equation modeling (SEM). The results show that green corporate identity has a significant impact on employees' green personal-social identification and green business performance; meanwhile, employees' green social identification has a significant impact on green business performance. However, employees' green personal identification has a significant impact on green business performance only through employees' green social identification. Green corporate identity can increase the corporate' green business performance via economic, environmental and social aspects through employees' green personal-social identification. The findings suggest that green corporate communication through visual identity, employee behaviors, culture, policy products and services in response to environmental forces and drivers to create the green corporate identity is deemed to systematically work. Furthermore, the findings also suggest that employees' green identification on both personal and social levels can be a significant issue that the managers in automobile manufacturers should pay attention as well.

  • This paper uses $Color-x^2$ histogram that is composed of merits of color histogram and ones of histogram, in order to efficiently extract violent scenes in elevator. Also, we use a threshold so as to find out key frame, by use of existing $Color-x^2$ histogram. To increase the probability that discerns whether a real violent scene or not, we take advantage of statistical judgments with 20 sample visual images.

  • According to Kenneth Frampton, the modern architecture starts to be recognized as the poetics of construction and lays a great weight in its value on the technology of making forms and the inherent meaning in the tectonics. The tectonic connotes not only the technological construction of the architecture but also ontological details as the joint of material and texture. The works of Carlo Scarpa are examples to prove the way how the ontological meanings are exposed in the tectonic form of architecture. The purpose of this study was to analyze the connections between Carlo Scarpa's architectural thoughts and visual logic(schemata) from the characteristic of details in his work during the 1950s to 1970s. Through the analysis, the Italian tradition in the architecture is reinterpreted through isolation and break of recollected montages. Carlo Scarpa makes spatial fragments and aspects of reinterpreting in surroundings and situation with the architectural place in Venezia. As a result, the unique details of his craftsmanship provide lessons on how to reinterpret the traditional architecture. In conclusion, Carlo Scarpa's architecture emphasizes the passage of its perceptive experience aspects as a dis-joint of tectonic forms. It may imply the significance of his philosophical approach, especially to the ontological architecture and tectonics.

  • Most of the current crack investigation work consists of visual inspection using simple measuring equipment such as crack scale. These methods involve the subjection of the inspector, which may lead to differences in the inspection results prepared by the inspector, and may lead to a large number of measurement errors. So, this study proposes an image-based crack detection method to enhance objectivity and efficiency of concrete crack investigation. In this study, YOLOv2 was used to determine the presence of cracks in the image information to ensure the speed and accuracy of detection for real-time analysis. In addition, we extracted shapes of cracks and calculated quantitatively, such as width and length using various image processing techniques. The results of this study will be used as a basis for the development of image-based facility defect diagnosis automation system.

  • Background: The purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between high heels and body imbalance among female college students in their twenties who mainly wear high heels and prevent associated problems. Methods: The subjects included 89 female college students in their twenties. They were measured in plantar pressure with a gait analyzer. Their legs were measured in length with a tape measure. Their pain intensity and pain frequency were measured in visual analog scale and in pain rating score. Results: There were statistically positive correlations between right leg length and low back pain frequency (p<.05) and negative correlations between the left hindfoot and low back pain frequency (p<.05). There were statistically positive correlations between right leg length and knee pain frequency (p<.05) and positive correlations between the ankle pain intensity and right leg length (p<.05). Conclusion: The stronger the pain was in the ankle, the stronger and more frequent their lumber pain was. When the pressure of the left heel was lower, the frequency of lumbar pain increased.

  • Observed climate data are processed under the assumption that their time series are stationary, as in multi-step temperature and precipitation prediction, which usually leads to low prediction accuracy. If a climate system model is based on a single prediction model, the prediction results contain significant uncertainty. In order to overcome this drawback, this study uses a method that integrates ensemble prediction and a stepwise regression model based on a mean-valued generation function. In addition, it utilizes empirical mode decomposition (EMD), which is a new method of handling time series. First, a non-stationary time series is decomposed into a series of intrinsic mode functions (IMFs), which are stationary and multi-scale. Then, a different prediction model is constructed for each component of the IMF using numerical ensemble prediction combined with stepwise regression analysis. Finally, the results are fit to a linear regression model, and a short-term climate prediction system is established using the Visual Studio development platform. The model is validated using temperature data from February 1957 to 2005 from 88 weather stations in Guangxi, China. The results show that compared to single-model prediction methods, the EMD and ensemble prediction model is more effective for forecasting climate change and abrupt climate shifts when using historical data for multi-step prediction.

  • Objective Primary dysmenorrhea occurs in more than 50% of women of reproductive age. This survey evaluated the effects of Menstrugole on the alleviation of primary dysmenorrhea. Methods This study was performed in western Iran between August 15 and December 15, 2017, in female students with primary dysmenorrhea. The students were randomly divided into 2 groups and received placebo or a Menstrugole capsule for 3 days in each of 2 menstrual cycles. The visual analog scale was used to assess pain severity. The ${\chi}^2$-test, one-way analysis of variance, and the paired t-test were used for statistical evaluation. Results We compared the severity of pain between the 2 groups. There was a significant change in the mean pain score during the first (P<0.001) and second months (P<0.001) after the use of Menstrugole, compared with that in the placebo group. Conclusion Menstrugole decreased pain severity in female students, and can be considered by health care providers for treatment of primary dysmenorrhea.
