일본과학계박물관의 전시수법과 연출에 따른 이용자행동반응에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Visitors' Behavior by the Exhibition Method and the Presentation in Science Museum)

  • In order to verify the validity of the exhibition moethod in a science museum, this study undertakes a visitor follow-up survey, and clarifies the influence an exhibition method affect visitor's behavior, and its feature. The tracking research performed the visitor follow-up survey to family company children. The characteristic of the visitor's behavior by the exhibition method; Use frequency becomes low in order of 'Experience type' 'Participation type' 'Fixed type'. Experience type has tendencies, such as repetitive and continuing use, and use time was long. Otherwise use time of Fixed type was short. As a result, although the use frequency of Hands-on is high and its use time is longer than Hands-off, it turns out that is influenced according to factors, such as the exhibition method, presentation and the contents of exhibition.

도립 완도수목원 방문객의 이용행태 및 중요도-만족도 분석 (Visitor Behavior and Importance-Satisfaction Analysis in Provincial Wando-arboretum)

  • A study surveyed to visitor's user behavior and importance-satisfaction in the Provicial Wando-arboretum. As the results of the research, Most of the visitors are 40s and 50s and live in Jeonnam Region, Gwang-ju. The purpose of their visit was recreation, leisure or experience of a warm-temperate forest. Also the mean of importance was 3.94 and the mean of satisfaction was 3.51 in the Wando-arboretum. It appeared necessary for items of program development, homepage management and amenities including public toilet. The research results are expected to suggest efficient management measures. And expects with the research result that will be the possibility of raising the qualitative satisfaction of the visitor.

숲길 특성에 따른 이용객의 이용행태 비교에 관한 연구 (A Study on Visitor's Behavior as a Characteristics of Different Forest Trails)

  • 숲길은 산림휴양서비스의 주요한 축으로 기존의 정상정복형 등산문화에서 벗어나 숲길이 가진 자연 및 역사문화자원을 이용한 다양한 활동에 대한 국민의 요구와 수준도 동시에 높아지고 있다. 따라서 각 숲길 특성에 따른 이용행태를 분석하여 이용유형에 적합한 방향으로 숲길의 관리 및 운영, 휴양서비스 제공이 필요하다. 본 연구는 접근성, 물리적 속성 등에 있어 차이를 보이는 북한산 둘레길, 울진 숲길, 지리산 둘레길을 대상으로 진행하였다. 연구결과 숲길 이용객의 인구통계학적 특성, 탐방동기, 이용행태 등에 있어 전반적인 특성을 도출하였고 숲길에 따른 차이를 확인하였다. 북한산 둘레길은 중 노년층의 이용이 많고 등산, 트레킹 및 건강프로그램을 선호하며 인근주민의 가벼운 산책코스로써 이용이 두드러진다. 울진 숲길은 일부러 시간을 내어 방문하는 유형이 많았고, 트레킹 외에도 다양한 체험활동에 대한 요구가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 지리산 둘레길은 젊은 층의 이용이 많고, 트레킹에 대한 선호와 보행편의성에 대한 요구가 높아 다른 숲길에 비해 걷는 것 자체를 목적으로 이용하는 경향을 보였다.

  • The pre-examination closely beforehand relation between the articles on exhibition and visitors, the visitors and exhibition space, the exhibition space and the articles on exhibition, and the acceptance of various requirements are the matters you should consider in the initial stage when planning the establishment of a museum. Especially, the clear guideline for the layout of exhibition to meet the intention of spectators considered based on the seeing behavior in the exhibition hall (i.e. they see the articles on exhibition in order passively under instructions of the museum or select them by themselves positively etc.), and the moving line of appreciation and the exhibition type seems to be not yet prepared sufficiently. This study can be defined as the study of fundamental background for the architectural guideline for the characteristics of visitor's behavior, the selected moving line in the exhibition hall, the layout against the forced moving line and the type of exhibition space. As a part of this study, we carried out the research and the study for how the movement of visitors and the characteristics of seeing behaviors according to the type of the moving line are shown, based on the type of moving line for seeing suggested by David Dean.

미술관 단위전시실의 경로선택 유형과 관람행동 특성에 관한 고찰 (A Study on Characteristic of Visitor's Behavior and Circulation Path Type in Art Museum Exhibition Space)

  • This study attempts to understand the arrangement and spatial requisites of art pieces by materializing the visitors' path of movement in the exhibition space, as well as researching their behavior. The purpose of the research is to the guideline for planning the exhibition layout and visitors' circulation can be derived in order to correspond to the visitors' characteristic of movement and circulation-path choice. Although such guideline may have limited use, it is still significant enough to be studied. Taking three Korean art galleries as the subjects of research, this study observes the arrangement of art pieces, movement path of visitors, characteristics of the visitors' behavior and the duration time a visitor takes to view an art piece without moving around in order to understand the arrangement and spatial requisites of art pieces which correspond to the visitors' behavior. The following results have been drawn in this research and analysis; First, when there is an island type exhibition other than the ordinary on-the-wall display in the exhibition space, the visitors' choice of path changes. In short, an island type exhibition seems to be a factor that changes the visitors' path. Second, in the entrance of an exhibition space unit, most of the visitors seem to choose a path which moves counter-clockwise. Third, it is considered that well-known art pieces or art pieces with a big size shall not be displayed on the comer of the exhibition room.

  • A movement of visitor is a practical means that provides a spatial arrangement of exhibits and validity to that principle. Thus, an exhibition of a museum cannot be completed by an intrinsic value of exhibition itself. Rather, the meaning and value of exhibition can be genuinely evaluated by a visitor's experience and reactions. Therefore, focusing on an correlation between exhibits' spatial configuration and a behavior in a museum, this thesis will establish effective indicators of analysis and their validity in predicting a frequency of visitor's visit depending on the structural form of exhibition space.

  • 초광대역 레이더는 수 GHz대의 주파수 대역을 사용하는 고속무선통신 기술로 실내 무선 측위기술로 각광받고 있다. 한편, 박물관 및 전시회 등의 기관에서는 방문객 실시간 위치뿐만 아니라, 관람자의 이동경로 및 체류시간 정보 또한 관람 행태 분석을 위해 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 초광대역 레이더를 이용한 실시간 위치 추적 기술을 통해 박물관 방문객의 관람 행태를 분석하는 시스템을 구축 사례를 소개한다. 개발 시스템을 국립중앙박물관 신라관에 설치하여, 22개의 상용 초광대역 레이더로 부터 실시간 측위 정보 수신하고, 이를 통해 관람자 조건별 이동경로 및 전시 대상별 체류시간을 분석할 수 있는 환경을 구축하였다.

6th Industrial Experience Satisfaction of Visitors Study on Motivation for Revisit - Focusing on Hwaseong Songsan Grape Festival -

  • In Hwaseong, South Korea, it is necessary to vitalize local festival by attracting local residents and tourists since 'Hwaseong Songsan Grape Festival' should be in the direction to help the influx of tourists and cultural development for the local residents. It has been known that the quality and readiness of festival affects visitor satisfaction and actual visit. However, there have been only a few studies to examine the effect of local festival on post-behavior. Hence, this study, focusing on 'Hwaseong Songsan Grape Festival'which is a representative cultural tourism festival in the region of Hwaseong, South Korea, aims to understand the visitor's post-behavior intention in terms of revisit intention and recommendation intention. The results suggest that the impact of experiential, purchase visit motivation on post-behavior were smaller than deviant, social, interest, and cultural visit motivation. It also showed that visitor satisfaction leads to revisit intention and at the same time recommendation intention. Based on the result, we suggest practical implication for the success of local festival including 'Hwaseong Songsan Grape Festival'.

관람행태 특성과 전시 레이아웃 분석에 의한 박물관 단위전시공간에서의 동선계획에 관한 연구 (A study on the planning of circulation path through analysis of visitor's behavior and exhibition layout in museum exhibition area)

  • Circulation planning for exhibition space depends on visitors, exhibition documents and exhibition space. To make visitors feel sympathy for the exhibition and meet visitors' movement and its spatial factors in the exhibition, guidelines for the planning layout of exhibition and exhibition space are needed. This research was aimed at gathering guidelines about the circulation planning for exhibition space for visitors who can acquire exhibition information in a natural way and enjoy the whole aspect of exhibition or enjoy preferential exhibition by investigating and analyzing viewing types of visitors, layout of exhibition and space unit exhibition. The result of this research was summarized as the following. 1) It needs optional viewing space large enough to be seen clearly so that all exhibition space can be seen at a glance at the main entrance of exhibition. 2) Layout of exhibition is needed for island-exhibition position and optional space preparation, when visitors pass by an article on exhibition short-cut. 3) Layout of exhibition is needed for double sided exhibition.

의료소비자들의 의료기관 종별 정보탐색 행태에 관한 연구 (Information Searching Behavior of Health Care Consumers by Types of Medical Institutions)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the information searching behavior of consumer by type of medical institution. A questionnaire survey was conducted of 1,507 persons who were selected through a multi-stage stratified area cluster sampling in nationwide level, excluding Jeju-Do. Personal survey was conducted through door-to door survey from 27 July to 10 August 1999. The main results of this research was as following; 1. The proportion of information searching of respondents ranged from 91.5-95.2%. Even though the proportion of user in university hospital was slightly high, there was not significant statistically by type of medical institution. In terms of information source, personal informer was most common information source in all type of medical institution. Public informers were more frequently used in university hospital visitors and professional informer in general and university hospital visitors. 2. Comparing to searching intensity, user informer and professional informer's influences were more powerful, but not statistically significant. In analysis of unit influence for information source, written informer or public informer was more powerful in clinic visitor, professional informer and written informer in university hospital visitor. 3. Information which consumer want to know mostly were about on special potential and career of physician. The clinic visitor wanted to know about institutional location and kindness of medical personnel. The university hospital visitor also wanted to know about facilities and convenience of process. Comparing to institution selection criteria of consumers at 1991, quality related criteria were recognized more importantly in outpatient and dental services. But in case of inpatient services, convenience factor was recognized more importantly. In conclusion, the effort for specific marketing plan by type of medical institution should be needed. And more concern on information searching behavior of consumer will be needed.
