  • This study aims to examine the Analysis of Factors Affecting Village Financial Management in Bali Province. Research with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 87 village heads who manage village finances and are responsible for village government financial reports. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression and the data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The results showed that the duality of village government (customary village and village apparatus), the capacity of village government officials and the competence of village assistants had a significant effect on the success of village fund management. Meanwhile, accountability does not affect the success of village fund management due to the lack of responsibility of village government officials for village financial management, which causes a negative impact on the sustainability of village governance. Empirically, the better the level of accountability, the better the success of village financial management. Other research results place the synergy of government, the capacity of government officials and the competence of village assistants as social capital, which have a positive effect on the success of village financial management, so that it becomes the focus of the village government in implementing public services and controlling government performance, both financial and non-financial.

  • This paper is intended to deduce the planning elements of Eco-village through theory contemplation and preceding researches in order to be used as practical data of resident participating Eco-village by contemplating characteristics demonstrated in planning element utilization methods within the village. Resident participating Eco-village aims for residents who will reside in the relevant village to participate from village plans to construction. Unlike other Eco-village, residents of resident participating Eco-village make decisions autonomically through planning direction, planning elements, discussions and meetings, which are uniquely distinctive from other Eco-villages. It appears, however, that analysis on the planning element utilization methods of resident participating Eco-village is inadequate. There are various methods of village resident participation, and the methods cannot rule out the close relationship with planning elements. Hence, programs for resident participation should be devised at the time of village planning. Resident participating Eco-village should suggest measures and guidelines through finding problems in order to implement sustainable and environment-friendly life that prevent a retrograde step.

  • In the village, the community consciousness of members appears as a landscape characteristic according to the passage of time. In addition, when the landscape of the village is stabilized, the relationship between members is strengthened. Urban villages change and become outdated depending on social conditions. So, it investigates and analyzes the landscape data of the village and the status of the community. The Jeonju Hanok village, which is the subject of the study, was restored from an slum urban village through urban regeneration projects. The village is a tourist attraction with more than 10 million tourists. However, as the commerce in the village was strengthened, the function of the village was weakening. Also, the existing village landscape was changing for commercial purposes. The current village is in a situation where the restored landscape can be changed again. Therefore, efforts are needed to maintain the landscape of the village and restore its function. Jeonju Hanok village needed a member's perspective, not a resident's perspective. Lastly, the relationship between members can be strengthened only when the village landscape is stable.
