Vapor explosion is one of the most important problems encountered in severe accident management of nuclear power plants. In spite of many efforts, a lot of questions still remain. So, KAERI launched a real experimental program called TROI using $UO_{2}$ and $ZrO_{2}$ to investigate the vapor explosion. Besides TROI tests, a small-scale experiment with molten-tin/water system was performed to quantify the characteristics of vapor explosion and to understand the phenomenology of vapor explosion. A vapor explosion was observed while the amount of air bubble and water temperature were systematically varied The mass and temperature of tin are $50\;g\;and\;150^{\circ}C$, respectively. Water temperature is set to $24^{\circ}C\;and\;50^{\circ}C$. The void fraction of air bubble ranges from $0\;to\;10\;{\%}$. The strength of vapor explosion was measured using dynamic pressure sensors attached in reactor tube wall. as a function of void fraction. In addition, a high speed video filming up to 1,000 flame/sec was taken in order to visually investigate the behavior of the vapor explosion .

The objective of this study is to help golfers to select adequate putters and to provide golfers basic scientific data for improving athletic performance by showing differences of kinematic variables according to the shape of putter head. In this research three right-handed male pro-golfer who are listed at KPGA were studied and three video camera (GR-HD1KR, JVC, Japan) were used and recording speed was 60 frame/sec during the research. In this study kinematic variables were calculated using Kwon3D XP program and analysed on the 4 events and 3 phases. This study showed the following results : (1) The swing of heel-toe putter showed longer time than that of face balanced putter, and there are statistical significant difference of kinematic variables of each objective (2) As of the trajectory of putter head, heel-toe putter showed more approximating curve trajectory than that of in-between, face balanced putter on the X-axis (3) heel-toe putter showed longer distance follow-through than that of other putters by statistically significant difference on the Y-axis (4) Heel-toe putter showed longer distance swing trajectory over the ground than that of other putters by statistically significant difference on the Z-axis.

As digital broadcasting process and information compressing technologies developed, digital technologies have been used extensively in many visual media such as movies and TV programs, and it is required to develop a new process for 3 dimensional digital programs. The study attempts to develop a new digital video-producing process through pre-simulation using a digital storytelling method, in order to increase the quality of broadcasting, reducing the producing time and improve efficiency. This system, supposed to be used to produce actual broadcasting, includes all tools needed for broadcasting in the program, so users can select an appropriate set among the pre-made library, which saves time for making sets. Also, it offers a storyboard making function by perfectly representing the functions of a virtual camera, and enables users to make the better storyboard, checking the real time movies. In addition, it recognizes objects though avatars, organizes the appropriate set for these avatars to act, and embodies a variety of avatar movements through which it reaffirms the camera's position and organization, minimizing errors and saving time and budget.

This paper is aimed to analyze the characteristics of simultaneous voltage, current and temperature signals for poor connection on electrical connector. In order to attain this purpose, detected were the current and voltage signals on electric wire with series arc, named arc signals, and also monitored were the changes of RMS, instantaneous value of waveform in time domain and temperature value with video. Two states are made normal state over $5kgf{\cdot}cm$ and poor connections state below $0.5kgf{\cdot}cm$ by screw gage. In the voltage signal case, the voltage drop was increased with which the current was increased. In the current signal case, poor connections at the time interval 1~4A all showed "shoulder", as distinct difference from the normal state shown waveform pattern. In the temperature signal case, poor connections are twice at 1A and five times at 4A in the normal state. The temperature continues insulation of electrical wiring and connector can be carbonized. The results of this study will be effectively used in developing the preventive devices and system for electric fire by poor connections.

An application of CSG (Constructive Solid Geometry) modeling technique in Machining Simulation is introduced in this paper. The current CSG model is based on z-buffer CSG Rendering Algorithm. In order to build a CSG model, frame buffers of VGA (Video Graphic Accelerator) should be used in term of color buffer, depth buffer, and stencil buffer. In addition to using CSG model in machine simulation Stock and Cutter Swept Surface (CSS) should be solid. Method to create a solid Cuboid stock and Ball-end mill CSS are included in the present paper. Boolean operations are used to produce the after-cut part, especially the Difference operation between Stock and CSS as the cutter remove materials form stock. Finally, a small program called MaSim which simulates one simple cut using this method was created.

In contemporary education, a school library is considered and valued as a vital and integral component of a school's instructional program. Especially, school library materials should contribute to execution of school curriculums through wide provision of resources. The results of the study are as follows. 1. The term 'library materials' should be changed into 'library resources' with a broad meaning. And, the scope of school library materials should include printed materials, audio-visual materials, electronic materials, associated equipment and other library resources. 2. It is desirable that the minimal standards of total collection is 5 books and 3 AV for a student in elementary schools, 7 books and 5 AV for a student in middle schools, 10 books and 7 AV for a student in high schools. 3. Annual growth is 0.5 for a student in elementary schools, 1 for a student in middle schools and 1.5 copy for a student in high schools. And, the number of minimal serials is 20 titles in elementary schools, 30 titles in middle schools and 50 tides in high schools. 4. Besides, basic collection, with the advances of technology, the school library collection should include new formats and delivery systems such as CD, video discs, videotex, computer software, satellite transmission etc. 5. The recommendable annual ratio of withdrawl is 3 to 5% for update and functional materials.

In this paper, on the web, offline mobile learning content to reinforce the learning of the video frame-by-frame necessary for re-learning area to capture only the important areas. The frame of the captured image and the image in the form of advanced training time saved and also a description of the notes feature to store. The area needed for the capture area re-learning the learner to learner-centered custom systems can be applied. In order to capture the learning program, regardless of the configuration of the selected frame by frame in order to capture the user-centric storytelling-based learning can be applied. Capture the full effect of the system compared to learning and learner-centered learning time-saving reconstruction of the frame according to the customized learning to play a positive role in improving effectiveness.

This paper describes implementation of the core DSM-CC UU interface. It briefly describes the reference model for the DSM-CC and related standards that should be reviewed for the implementation. The Common Object Request Broker Architechture, Revision 2.0 (CORBA 2.0) is sued as a remote procedure call (RPC) scheme for the UU Interface. Entire system was implemented with C++ on Windows NT platforms. The implementation procedure has been decomposed ito two tasks. The first task is to implement the Naming Service for service navigation. The Naming Service is one of the CORBA Services that extend the core CORBA specification. A client GUI is implemented for easy navigation among various services. The second task is to construct multimedia server and client for a Video-on-Demand (VoD) system. MPEG-2 Transport Stream is transported via ATM AAL5 using the Windows Socket 2.2 ATM extension API. A GUI enables the user to navigate the service domain and select a program. After the selection the user can control the MPEG-2 stream with VCR-like buttons.

Purpose: The study was done to identify variations in Nurses' CPR knowledge, attitude and performance before and after BLS Education. Method: This study was designed to evaluate the differences in Nurses' CPR knowledge, attitude and performance. For the study we selected 167 nurses working in Daegu K University hospital. The study group was given a test before (pre test) and after (post test) BLS education. The BLS education was given by two BLS instructors certified by the American Heart Association, using a DVD and manikin. Result: The results showed a statistically significant difference the nurse's knowledge, belief, emotion and performance but there was no significant difference in their behavior after BLS education. CPR knowledge and performance was higher among emergency room nurses compared to surgical ward nurses. Conclusion: CPR education has shown to have a positive effect on nurses' attitudes towards CPR. It also improved their related knowledge and performance. Therefore, cardiopulmonary education should be given continuously, and different steps of CPR education programs need to be developed in order to fill the knowledge deficiency gap.

A number of middle and high school students are selected at the Korea Astronomy Olympiad (KAO) in every year. In the first stage of the selection, the resume, school transcript, and recommendation letters from teachers are referred. In the second stage, after video lectures and weekend observation classes, students are tested with on-line homeworks, and interviewed through internet. For 118 students who have gone through the second stage of the 2012 KAO, we have conducted a questionnaire survey, which asks the students the motivation and preparation for the KAO. The survey has also included inquiries for the selection process and education program of the 2012 KAO; the replies will be used as feedbacks for the next year's KAO. The survey has revealed that the first stage worked well, while the second stage needs to be improved in terms of fairness and objectivity. We have found that most students received private tutorings for the KAO, so we suggest efforts should be made for students to be able to prepare the KAO without receiving private tutorings.
