모형 그물에 대한 어군행동의 수직 모델링에 관한 연구 - 모형 그물이 없는 수조에서의 무지개송어의 유영특성 - (A Study on the Numerical Modeling of the Fish Behavior to the Model Net - Swimming Characteristics of Rainbow Trout, Salmo Gairdnerii in the Water Tank Without Model Net -)

  • 모형 그물에 대한 어군행동의 수치모델링에 관한 연구의 일환으로서 어군행동의 모델링을 위하여 어군행동을 나타내는 운동방정식을 구성하는 각종 힘들의 parameter를 추정하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자, 모형 그물을 설치하지 않은 상태에서의 유속 변화에 따른 무지개송어의 유영행동을 화성처리하여 각 개체 위치좌표로부터 계산된 유영속도, 유영깊이, 수조의 변과 개체 사이의 거리, 개체상호간의 최근접거리, 어구의 3차원적 구조 등의 유역특성을 조사 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 유영궤적으로부터 무지개송어의 유영행동을 살펴보면, 정수상태에서는 수종 중앙부에서 유영하는 빈도가 높았으며, 수조 벽면으로부터 상당히 떨어져서 유회운동을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 정수상태에서의 평균 유영속도는 21.6~23.6cm/sec(2.5~2.9BL cm/sec)로서 개체수가 많을수록 체장당 유영속도가 빠른 것으로 나타났으며, 유속의 변화에 따른 어군의 평균유영속도는 유속이 증가할수록 유영속도도 증가하여 유속이 25cm/sec인 경우에는 유영속도가 30.6 cm/secd(3.8BLcm/sec)에 달하였다. 어군의 평균 유영깊이는 17~38cm로서 주로 중층의 깊이에서 유영하였으며, 유속이 빨라질수록 유영 깊이가 깊어지고 유영 깊이의 변화가 적어졌다. 수조의 벽과 개체 사이의 평균 거리는 17.6~21.4cm였으며, 유속이 빨라질수록 수조의 벽과 개체사이의 거리가 다소 멀어지는 경향을 나타내었다. 개체상호간의 최근거리는 개체수가 많을수록 가까워지며, 유속의 변화에 따른 개체상호간의 최근접거리 평균치는 3.0~5.9cm(0.4~0.7BL cm)로 나타났다. 어군의 3차원적 구조는 군을 형성하는 개체수가 증가함에 따라 군의 형상이 길이, 폭 및 깊이의 모든 방향으로 넓어지며, 유속이 빨라질수록 길이방향과 폭 방향의 크기가 깊이 방향에 비해 상대적으로 커져 각 방향의 평균 상태비는 2.8 : 2.7 : 1이었다.

  • 멀티미디어 원격 의료 정보 시스댐에서는 멀티미디어 형태로 저장 관리되는 환자의 의료정보를 신속하게 원격 검색할 수 있어야 한다 또한, 대용량의 멀티미디어 의료정보를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 멸티미디어 DBMS가사용되어야하며, 분산처리 환경에서의 원격 검색 기능이 구현되어야한다. 멀티미디어 원격 의료정 보 시스템과 같이 실시간 정보 전송 및 깎 정보 형태별 연결 관리가 펼요한 경우의 DB 원격 검색올 위해서는 Native ATM Service와 같이 개별 연결설정 및 QoS(Quality of Service)를 보장하는 초고속 정보 통신망이 펼요하다. 멀티미디어 DB의 원격 검색을 위해 상용 DBMS가 제공하는 API를 이용할 경우 해당 DBMS만올 지원하는 DBMS 의존적인 멸티미디어 원격 의료 정보 시스템이 되어 병원 규모 및 특성에 맞는 DBMS의 선정 및 DB 구축이 어렵게 된다. 또한, 상용 DBMS가 제공하는 TCP/IP Socket 기반의 전송 방식으로는 전송 특성이 각기 다른 멀티미디어 데이터의 개별적인 연결관리 빛 QoS 보장이 힘툴다 그러므로 본 논문에서 는 멀티미디어 원격 의료 정보 시스템을 위한 멸티미디어 DB 원격 접속 기능 구현에서 현재 상용 DBMS가 제공하지 않는 Native ATM API를 사용 한 DBMS 원격 접속 기능 구조를 제안하고, 이를 기반으로 한 원격 검색 기능을 구현 그 성능을 분석한다.

  • 최근 스마트폰의 등장으로 인해 사용자들은 시간과 공간의 제약 없이 스마트폰을 이용한 새로운 의사소통의 방법을 경험하고 있다. 이러한 스마트폰은 고화질의 컬러화면, 고해상도 카메라, 실시간 3D 가속그래픽과 다양한 센서(GPS와 Digital Compass) 등을 제공하고 있으며, 다양한 센서들은 사용자들(개발자, 일반 사용자)로 하여금 이전에 경험하지 못했던 서비스를 경험할 수 있도록 지원하고 있다. 그 중에서 모바일 증강현실은 스마트폰의 다양한 센서들을 이용하여 개발할 수 있는 대표적인 서비스 중 하나이며, 이러한 센서들을 이용한 다양한 방법의 모바일 증강현실 연구들이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 모바일 증강현실은 크게 위치 정보 기반의 서비스와 내용 기반 서비스로 구분할 수 있다. 위치 정보 기반의 서비스는 구현이 쉬운 장점이 있으나, 증강되는 정보의 위치가 실제의 객체의 정확한 위치에 증강되는 정보가 제공되지 않는 경우가 발생하는 단점이 존재한다. 이와 반대로, 내용 기반 서비스는 정확한 위치에 증강되는 정보를 제공할 수 있으나, 구현 및 데이터베이스에 존재하는 이미지의 양에 따른 검색 속도가 증가하는 단점이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 위치 정보 기반의 서비스와 내용기반의 서비스의 장점들을 이용한 방법으로, 스마트폰의 다양한 센서(GPS, Digital Compass)로 부터 수집된 정보를 이용하여 데이터베이스의 탐색 범위를 줄이고, 탐색 범위에 존재하는 이미지들의 특징 정보를 기반으로 실제의 랜드마크를 인식하고, 인식한 랜드마크의 정보를 링크드 오픈 데이터(LOD)에서 검색하여 해당 정보를 제공하는 랜드마크 가이드 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 크게 2개의 모듈(랜드마크 탐색 모듈과 어노테이션 모듈)로 구성되어있다. 첫 번째로, 랜드마크 탐색 모듈은 스마트폰으로 인식한 랜드마크(건물, 조형물 등)에 해당하는 정보들을 (텍스트, 사진, 비디오 등) 링크드 오픈 데이터에서 검색하여 검색된 결과를 인식한 랜드마크의 정확한 위치에 정보를 제공하는 역할을 한다. 스마트폰으로부터 입력 받은 이미지에서 특징점 추출을 위한 방법으로는 SURF 알고리즘을 사용했다. 또한 실시간성을 보장하고 처리 속도를 향상 시키기 위한 방법으로는 입력 받은 이미지와 데이터베이스에 있는 이미지의 비교 연산을 수행할 때 GPS와 Digital Compass의 정보를 사용하여 그리드 기반의 클러스터링을 생성하여 탐색 범위를 줄임으로써, 이미지 검색 속도를 향상 시킬 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 두 번째로 어노테이션 모듈은 사용자들의 참여에 의해서 새로운 랜드마크의 정보를 링크드 오픈 데이터에 추가할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다. 사용자들은 키워드를 이용해서 링크드 오픈 데이터로에서 관련된 주제를 검색할 수 있으며, 검색된 정보를 수정하거나, 사용자가 지정한 랜드마크에 해당 정보를 표시할 수 있도록 지정할 수 있다. 또한, 사용자가 지정하려고 하는 랜드마크에 대한 정보가 존재하지 않는다면, 사용자는 랜드마크의 사진을 업로드하고, 새로운 랜드마크에 대한 정보를 생성하는 기능을 제공한다. 이러한 과정은 시스템이 카메라로부터 입력 받은 대상(랜드마크)에 대한 정확한 증강현실 컨텐츠를 제공하기 위해 필요한 URI를 찾는데 사용되며, 다양한 각도의 랜드마크 사진들을 사용자들에 의해 협업적으로 생성할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다. 본 연구에서 데이터베이스의 탐색 범위를 줄이기 위해서 랜드마크의 GPS 좌표와 Digital Compass의 정보를 이용하여 그리드 기반의 클러스터링 방법을 제안하여, 그 결과 탐색시간이 기존에는 70~80ms 걸리는 반면 제안하는 방법을 통해서는 18~20ms로 약 75% 정도 향상된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 탐색시간의 감소는 전체적인 검색시간을 기존의 490~540ms에서 438~480ms로 약 10% 정도 향상된 것을 확인하였다.

도시철도 차량 주행시 곡선스킬소음 실험 및 고찰 (Field Measurements and Review of the Curve Squeal Noise of Urban Railways)

  • 도심을 지나는 철도 궤도는 급격한 곡선 구간이 존재하며, 철도차량이 곡선부를 주행하며 발생시키는 높은 주파수의 스킬소음은 곡선부 인근에 소음 민원을 야기하고, 해당 구간 궤도의 마모를 과도하게 발생시킨다. 본 논문에서는 대표적 비선형, 과도 특성인 스킬소음의 현상을 정확하게 파악하기 위해서 실차를 대상으로 곡선부 스킬 소음실험을 수행하였다. 특정 대차내 4 차륜을 대상으로 스킬소음의 음압의 크기, 주파수 특성, 주행 속도 변화에 따른 영향, 차륜의 진동응답특성과 스킬소음의 연관관계를 파악하였다. 동시에 차륜과 레일의 접촉 위치의 변화를 촬영한 영상을 분석하여 스킬소음 발생시 차륜의 레일에 대한 상대적 움직임에 대한 현상을 살펴보았다. 철도 차량 곡선 주행시 스킬소음은 내측 전륜에서 가장 크게 발생하며, 이는 차륜의 횡방향 진동 응답 특성과 관련이 있다고 생각된다. 이 발생 스킬소음의 크기는 차량 속도 증가와는 직접적인 관련이 없음을 알 수 있었다.

뇌파, 시선추적 및 인공지능 기술에 기반한 디지털 도서관 인터페이스 연구: 암묵적 적합성 피드백 활용을 중심으로 (Digital Library Interface Research Based on EEG, Eye-Tracking, and Artificial Intelligence Technologies: Focusing on the Utilization of Implicit Relevance Feedback)

  • 본 연구는 디지털 도서관의 콘텐츠를 탐색하는 동안 이용자의 암묵적 적합성 피드백을 활용하여 적합성을 판단하기 위해 뇌파 기반 및 시선추적 기반 방법들을 제안하고 평가해 보았다. 이를 위해서 32명을 대상으로 하여 동영상, 이미지, 텍스트 데이터를 활용하여 뇌파/시선추적 실험들을 수행하였다. 제안된 방법들의 유용성을 평가하기 위해서, 딥러닝 기반의 인공지능 방법들을 경쟁 기준으로 사용하였다. 평가 결과, 주제에 적합한 동영상과 이미지(얼굴/감정)를 선택하는 데에는 뇌파 컴포넌트 기반 방법들(av_P600, f_P3b)이 높은 분류 정확도를 나타냈고, 이미지(객체)와 텍스트(신문 기사)를 선택하는 데에는 인공지능 기반 방법 즉, 객체 인식 기반 방법과 자연언어 처리 방법이 각각 높은 분류 정확도를 나타냈다. 끝으로, 뇌파, 시선추적 및 인공지능 기술에 기반한 디지털 도서관 인터페이스를 구현하기 위한 지침 즉, 암묵적 적합성 피드백에 기반한 시스템 모형을 제안하고, 분류 정확도를 향상시키기 위해서 미디어별로 적합한 뇌파 기반, 시선추적 기반 및 인공지능 기반 방법들을 제시하였다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. 차로이용률을 고려한 지점 교통량 자료의 집락화 방법에 관한 연구 (The Study of Volume Data Aggregation Method According to Lane Usage Ratio)

  • 고속도로에서 수집 저장되는 이력자료의 활용도를 효과적으로 향상시키기 위해 Archived Data User Service (ADUS)/Archived Data Management System(ADMS) 구축에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 그러나, 방대한 이력교통자료의 활용도를 높이기 위해 우선 차량검지기 자료처리과정에 대한 체계적인 조사 분석을 통한 차량검지기 자료의 신뢰성 확보가 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 고속도로 차량검지기 자료처리과정에 대한 종합적인 문제점 분석을 통해 고속도로 교통관리 시스템의 개선사항에 대하여 살펴보았으며, 차로 이용률과 관련된 문제점과 개선방향에 연구의 초점을 맞추어 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 우선 하루 동안 전체 검지기에서 수집된 자료 중 오류데이터가 차지하는 부분을 분석하였으며, 전체 수집 자료중 15%가 신뢰성에 영향을 미치는 오류데이터로 분석되었다. 또한, 고속도로 차량검지기에서 수집되는 자료의 차로 이용률(Lane Usage)을 살펴보았다. 분석결과 2차로구간에서는 1 2차로간 평균 차로이용률이 12% 정도의 차이를 나타내는 것으로, 3차로 구간에서는 1 2차로의 37%에 비해 3차로의 차로이용률이 24%로 비교적 낮게 분포하는 것으로 분석되었다. 4차로 분석구간에서는 1 4차로가 2 3차로에 비해 낮은 차로이용률을 나타내는 것으로 분석되어 실제 차로이용률이 차로별로 동일하지 않은 분포를 가짐을 확인할 수 있었다. 고속도로 차량검지기 자료처리과정에 대한 조사 분석 결과 더 신뢰성 있는 자료를 수집 저장하기 위해서는 고속도로에서 각 차로별 차로 이용률이 시간대에 따라 다르게 분포하는 점을 고려한 검지기 지점 데이터 생성 process에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요하다.{\mu}m$ 였다. 으뜸세포의 사립체의 크기는 정상대조군, 종양대조군 및 BCG 투여군이 각각 $0.80({\pm}0.130){\mu}m,\;0.83({\pm}0.143){\mu}m$$0.72({\pm}0.078){\mu}m$ 였다. 이상의 결과를 종합해보면 BCG를 반복 투여하면 위점막으뜸세포의 분비과립이 약간 작아지는 등 분비기능이 다소 억제되나 그 정도가 경미하여 으뜸세포의 분비기능에 큰 손상을 주지 않는 것으로 생각된다.모양을 비교한 결과 꼬리핵과 줄무늬체바닥핵에서는 모두 가지돌기가시(dendritic spine)에 연접하였으나, 중격옆핵과 중격핵에서는 가지돌기 (dendrite)에 연접하는 것과 가지돌기가시에 연접하는 것이 혼재하였다. 이들 두 신경핵 무리는 이마앞겉질에서 기원하는 축삭종말의 연접차이로 볼 때 서로 다른 회로계통에 속할 것으로 생각되며, 문헌고찰을 통해서 꼬리핵과 줄무늬체바닥핵은 줄무늬체회로 (striatal circuit)에 속하고 중격옆핵과 중격핵은 변연계통회로(limbic circuit)에 속할 것으로 판정했다. 이마앞겉질은 생리적, 약리적, 신경학적 및 형태학적 근거들로 보아 바닥핵들을 통해 변연계통과 대뇌겉질 전체에 영향을 미칠 것으로 여겨지는데, 본 실험에서는 네 종류의 바닥핵들, 즉 꼬리핵, 줄무늬체바닥핵, 중격옆핵 및 중격핵과 관련된 신경연접들을 관찰하였으며, 그 결과를 문헌 고찰한 결과 변연계통과 줄무늬체계통이 앞뇌의 바닥에 있는 신경핵들에서 형태학적 교차연결을 통해 정서와 마음의 상태를 행동과 대응으로 표현하는 중요한 신경회로가 존재함을 제안하였다.腎臟組織)에서 더많이 발생되었다. 틸라피아의 신사구체(腎絲球體)는 담수(淡水)에서

스마트교육을 위한 오픈 디지털교과서 (Open Digital Textbook for Smart Education)

  • 스마트교육에서 디지털교과서의 역할은 학습자와 대면하는 교육미디어로써 그 중요성은 재론의 여지없다. 이러한 디지털교과서는 학습자의 편의와 더불어 교수자, 콘텐츠 제작자, 유통업자를 위하여 표준화되어야 활성화되고 산업화될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 3가지 목표를 지향하는 디지털교과서 표준화 방안을 모색한다. (1) 디지털교과서는 온-오프 수업을 모두 지원하는 혼합학습 매체의 역할을 해야 하며, 특별한 전용뷰어 없이 표준을 준수하는 모든 EPUB 뷰어에서 실행가능 해야 하며, 기존의 이러닝 학습 콘텐츠와 학습관리시스템를 활용할 수 있도록 하며, 디지털 교과서를 사용하는 학습자의 정보를 추적 관리할 수 있는 트랙킹기능이 있으면서도, 오프라인 동안의 정보를 축적하여 서버와 통신할 수 있는 기능도 필요하다. 디지털교과서의 표준으로서 EPUB을 고려하는 이유는 디지털교과서가 책의 형태를 가져야 하는데 이를 위해서 따로 표준을 정할 필요가 없으며, EPUB 표준을 채택함으로써 풍부한 콘텐츠, 유통구조, 산업기반을 활용할 수 있기 때문이다. (2) 디지털교과서는 오픈소스를 적극 활용하여 저비용으로 현재 사용가능한 서비스를 구성하여 표준과 더불어 실제 실행 가능한 프로그램으로 제시되어야 하며, 관련 학습 콘텐츠가 오픈마켓의 형태로 운영될 수 있어야 한다. (3) 디지털교과서는 학습자에게 적절한 학습 피드백을 제공하기 위하여 모든 학습활동 정보를 축적하고 관리될 수 있는 인프라를 표준에 따라 구축하여 교육 빅데이터 처리의 기반을 제공하여야 한다. 이북 표준인 EPUB 3.0을 기반으로 하는 오픈 디지털교과서는 (1) 학습활동 정보를 기록하고 (2) 이 학습활동 지원을 위한 서버와 통신하여야 한다. 현재 표준으로 정해져 있지 않은 이북의 기록과 통신 기능을 EPUB 3.0의 JavaScript로 구현하여 현재 EPUB 3.0 뷰어에서도 활용하면서 이를 차세대 이북 표준 또는 교육을 위한 이북 표준(EPUB 3.0 for education)으로 제안하여 향후 제정된 표준 이북 뷰어에서는 JavaScript없이도 처리되도록 하는 전략이 필요하다. 향후 연구는 제안한 오픈 디지털교과서 표준에 의한 오픈소스 프로그램을 개발하고, 개발된 오픈 디지털교과서의 학습활동정보를 활용한 새로운 교육서비스 방안(교육 빅데이터 활용방안 포함)을 제시하는 것이다.
