능동 하이브리드 마운트 시스템의 진동제어 성능 평가 : 실험적 고찰 (Evaluation of Vibration Control Performance for Active Hybrid Mount System : Experimental Investigation)

  • In this work, an active hybrid mount using piezostack actuator and rubber element is manufactured, and its vibration control performance is evaluated via feedforward control. A hybrid active mount featuring inertia type of piezostack actuator is proposed and manufactured. After describing the configuration of the hybrid mount, a mount system is then constructed. To attenuate vibrations from vibration sources, a feedfoward controller is experimentally implemented to the system. Vibration control performances are evaluated at each mount. Effective control performances such as accelerations are obtained and presented in frequency domains.

  • This paper is concerned with the active vibration control of washing machine. To this end, a new control algorithm utilizing an acceleration signal as a sensor signal is newly developed based on the principle of a dynamic absorber. The resulting control algorithm was implemented digitally on the DSP board. The accelerometer and the active linear actuator were used as sensor and actuator for the active vibration control of washing machine. Experimental results show that the proposed control algorithm can be effectively used for a controller which uses an accelerometer.

  • This paper deals with a control technique of eliminating the transient vibration with respect to a waist axis of an articulated robot. This control technique is based on a model-based control in order to establish the damping effect on the driven mechanical part. The control model is composed of reduced-order electrical and mechanical parts related to the velocity control loop. The parameters of the control model can be obtained from design data or experimental data. This model estimates a load speed converted to the motor shaft. The difference between the estimated load speed and the motor speed is calculated dynamically, and it is added to the velocity command to suppress the transient vibration. This control method is applied to an articulated robot regarded as a time-invariant system. The effectiveness of the model-based control integrated into the position control loop is verified by simulations. Simulations show satisfactory control results to reduce the transient vibration at the end-effector.

  • In this study, analyze the status and problem of a noise and vibration control laws of it through the questionnaire. The method of survey was made by questionnaires which were the civil worker 138 persons and civil servant 132 persons. Based on this survey, we suggest a improvement of the noise and vibration control laws.

  • Increasing flexibility and lightness of recently built high-rise buildings make the structures susceptible to loads such as earthquakes and winds. Therefore, higher performance vibration control systems to reduce the vibration levels are demanded more than any time in the past. One of typical active vibration control systems is the active mass damper(AMD). In this paper, an active vibration control system consisting of small shaking table, building model, sensors, signal processing board and AMD is constructed. The dynamic characteristics of these individual systems are investigated through the experimental study. The performance of the active vibration control system is verified through harmonic resonant load excitation on building model.

  • This paper presents active vibration control of a rotating cantilevered beam using piezoceramic actuators. A governing equation of motion is obtained by the Hamilton's principle and expressed in the state space representation. Subsequently, an H$_{\infty}$ control which is robust to system uncertainties is synthesized through the loop shaping design procedure. Computer simulations for the steady-state vibration control are undertaken in order to demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed control methodology..y.

  • In order to not only perform as a extreme model under the severe operating condition but also acquire more diverse and advanced control capability utilizing high compliance, active vibration control of a flexible 2-link robot manipulator are investigated. Multi variable-structured frequency shaped optimal sliding mode is proposed for the flexible robot manipulator like control system, whose control variables, an angular motion of joint and vibration of flexible link, have to be controlled simultaneously by one control torque at a driving joint. The control system is divided into two subsystems, a control input related subsystem and an added subsystem. The proposed sliding mode, composed of multi control variables, makes optimized relation between subsystems and a individual control input, thus, the sliding mode controller can compensate whole dynamics of each subsystems simultaneously. And the possibility and effectiveness are verified by vibration control of a manipulator having two flexible links. Simulation and experiment results show that the proposed control scheme achieves the purpose effectively.

Simultaneous precision positioning and vibration suppression of reciprocating flexible manipulators

  • Simultaneous precision positioning and vibration suppression of a reciprocating flexible manipulator is investigated in this paper. The flexible manipulator is driven by a multifunctional active strut with fuzzy logic controllers. The multifunctional active strut is a combination of a motor assembly and a piezoelectric stack actuator to simultaneously provide precision positioning and wide frequency bandwidth vibration suppression capabilities. First, the multifunctional active strut and the flexible manipulator are introduced, and their dynamic models are derived. A control strategy is then proposed, which includes a position controller and a vibration controller to achieve simultaneous precision positioning and vibration suppression of the flexible manipulator. Next, fuzzy logic control approach is presented to design a fuzzy logic position controller and a fuzzy logic vibration controller. Finally, experiments are conducted for the fuzzy logic controllers and the experimental results are compared with those from a PID control scheme consisting of a PID position controller and a PID vibration control. The comparison indicates that the fuzzy logic controller can easily handle the non-linearity in the strut and provide higher position accuracy and better vibration reduction with less control power consumption.

  • This paper presents an experimental study on active control of self-excited vibration for a high speed turbomachinery. In order to suppress the self-excited vibration, it is necessary to actively control the air film pressure or the air film thickness. In this study, active pads are used to control the air film thickness. Active pads are supported by pivots containing piezoelectric actuators and their radial position can be actively controlled by applying voltage to the actuators. The transfer characteristics from actuator inputs to shaft vibration outputs are experimentally investigated. In a tilting-pad gas bearing (TPGB), a shaft is supported by the pressurized air film. Four gap sensors were used to measure the vibration of the shaft and PID was used in the feedback control of the shaft vibration. The experimental results show that the self-excited vibration of the rotor can be effectively suppressed if the PID controller gains are properly chosen. As a result we find that the feedback control is effective for suppressing the self-excited vibration of a rotor system using stack-type PZT actuators.
