  • This study aimed at developig the questionnaire design/analysis system for village appraisals. Based on the standard questionnaire pool, this study is developing a software that can automatically design questionnaire sheet, input and analyze the survedy data, finally output the anlayzed results on PC enviornment. And the system developed in this study will be completed through modification works by the verifying research on case study areas.

  • An automatic operation of train is executed by an automatic train operation(ATO) system. The main function of ATO system is to control train speed. So it makes the train stop at the programmed position accurately and improve riding comfort. In this paper, A fuzzy control is designed for speed control. The simulation is executed for verifying the speed control performance of the fuzzy system and comparing with that of the conventional PI.

  • Substation Automation System is basically operating throughout communicative services among IEC 61850 based devices. So, minimum requirement in order to install the system in the substation is to verify server and client conformance of IEDs and HMIs according to the IEC 61850 standard. Even though UCA IUG issued IEC 61850 conformance test procedures for both the server and the client, Much of the test is limited to IEDs as server and there is no client-only testing tool except KEMA server test tool sets. this study aims to develop IEC 61850 client testing system for verifying the full communication conformance of the substation automation system and this paper describes the design and implementation of the testing system.

  • This paper considers the design technique of the real-time control algorithm to implement the electronic interlocking system which is the most important station control system in railway signal field. The proposed technique consists of the structure design and the detail design which are based on the ROOM(Real-Time Object-Oriented Modeling) This proposed technique is applied to the typical station model in order to prove the validity as verifying the performance of the modeled station.

  • Electric power facilities must have effective grounding to provide means to carry electric current into the earth under fault conditions and to prevent damage of equipment, Ignition, and electrocution of presonnel. nuts paper present an algorithm called the Pattern Search method for the optimal parameters selection of the grounding system. Computer simulation results used the CDEGS grounding analysis program verifying the effects of the grounding system design parameters obtained from this method show that the grounding systems are adequately designed.

  • A method to verify seismic qualification of the plant protection system cabinet for a nuclear power plant is presented. A finite element model of the cabinet is developed and correlated to the dynamic properties observed during in-situ vibration test of the actual structure. The results of the modal analysis provide insight into the fundamental dynamic properties of the structure. Techniques for verifying structural integrity and operability are exemplified by summarizing response spectrum and time history analyses of the structure.

  • Compared with traditional analog system, the Chinese VLBI Data Acquisition System (CDAS) is a digital one with better bandpass and wider bandwidth which allow weaker sources to be detected and measured by VLBI techniques. After optimizing and verifying the performance of CDAS in wide bandwidth observing mode, we performed an experiment by observing 85 weak sources along the ecliptic with Chinese VLBI stations located at Shanghai, Kunming and Urumqi. The capability of CDAS has been demonstrated for the detection of weak sources with improved sensitivity.

  • The combination of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (AIoT) has gained significant popularity. Deep neural networks (DNNs) have demonstrated remarkable success in various applications. However, deploying complex AI models on embedded boards can pose challenges due to computational limitations and model complexity. This paper presents an AIoT-based system for smart parking lots using edge devices. Our approach involves developing a detection model and a decision tree for occupancy status classification. Specifically, we utilize YOLOv5 for car license plate (LP) detection by verifying the position of the license plate within the parking space.

  • In this paper, a solar power tracking method using the solar cells is proposed, which has 3 solar cell located at an interval of $60^{\circ}$ in azimuth so that the sunlight may almost be perpendicular to the solar cells without excessive mechanical operation. Compared with the solar cell voltages in each azimuth, there is the highest voltage in time interval. As a results, this solar cell system achieve higher relative efficiency of $1.6{\sim}11.5%$ than fixed solar cell system. Therefore, it is verifying that this solar cell tracking system obtain more relative efficiency than fixed solar cell system for aid to navigation.

Meta-Validation for Consistency between UML Structural Diagram and Behavioral Diagram (UML 구조 다이어그램과 행위 다이어그램의 일관성 메타검증)

  • The UML is a widely accepted standard in object-oriented modeling. As the UML is semantically rich, we can describe in detail the system that will be developed, but we cannot guarantee the correctness and consistency of the designed model. Therefore, it is important to minimize the error by verifying user models in an early stage. In this paper, we propose a method for verifying the consistency of UML structural diagrams and behavioral diagrams using OCL verification rules and meta-metamodel. The consistency is a nature for checking whether the structural diagrams and behavioral diagrams are coherently designed according to a specific requirement. First we build meta-metamodels of the structural diagram and behavioral diagram that are described with the UML diagrams and the related elements, we derive rules for verifying the consistency from each meta-metamodels, and then formally specify with the language such as OCL for automatic verification. Finally, we verify the usefulness of the rule through a case study.
