한국형 아파트의 난방에너지 분석 3 :실내설정조건의 영향 (Analysis of Heating Energy in a Korean-Style Apartment Building 3 : The Effect of Room Condition Settings)

  • The present paper deals with heating energy estimation in Korean-style apartments, paying special attention to the effect of room condition settings. Two types of heating modes are considered: continuous single-zone and scheduled multi-zone. In the latter, zones during unoccupied periods remain unconditioned. Also analyzed are sensitivities in heating energy with respect to the air change rate and the set temperature. The energy use is estimated with TRNSYS 15, a dynamic load calculation program. Heating energy for the actual residential condition (1.0 ACH and $24^{\circ}C$) appears to be nearly the same as that for a typical design standard (1.5 ACH and $20^{\circ}C$). The air change rate affects heating energy as sensitive]y as the set temperature. For all the simulated cases, the scheduled multi-zone heating mode is more energy-efficient than the continuous single-zone. Heating energy depends appreciably on the shading factor. It is expected that considerable heating energy for apartment houses can be saved by employing a multi-zone mode along with appropriate control devices.

  • CFD simulation is a tool very useful to predict the generation and absorption of the contaminant from the construction materials for the single room condition. However, there is a limit in multi-room simulation for analyzing air movement and contaminant concentration at the condition that the door of each room was closed. A lot of network simulation tool were developed which can used to analyze the mass transfer and contaminant concentration as results in the multi-room condition. However, existing network simulation method was not able to analyze the change of the heating and cooling load with the ventilation as though the change of the indoor air-pollution density was predictable. In this study, new approach to predict heating/cooling load and indoor contaminant concentration will be reviewed. New indoor contaminant concentration module reviewed in this study wad coupled with existing ESP-r network simulation method. The validity of new approach will be analysed for comparison the results of simulation and field measurement results.

  • Indoor air quality models are useful to predict indoor air pollutant concentrations as a function of several indoor factors. Indoor air quality model was developed to evaluate the pollutant removal efficiency of variable-air-volume/bypass filtration system (VAV/BPFS) compared with the conventional variable-air-volume (VAV) system. This model provides relative pollutant removal effectiveness of VAV/BPFS by concentration ratio between the conventional VAV system and VAV/BPFS. The predictions agree closely, from 5 to 10 percent, with the measured values for each energy load. As a results, we recommend the VAV/BPFS is a promising alternative to conventional VAV system because it is capable of reducing indoor air pollutant concentration and maintaining good indoor air quality.

  • The Purpose of this study is to provide the basic data for energy conservation strategies of the multipurpose greenhouse which is appropriate to Jeju environmental circumstance. In this study, climatic analysis, field works, literature reviews and building load calculations were performed to identify solutions to design needs. As conceptual design strategies, various energy conservation strategies such as passive solar design, natural ventilation and high performance glazing system were examined and applied to design alternatives.

  • The effect of manufacturing parameters on wear and improve cooling of motorcycle break system was studied using a disk-on-pad type friction tester. Such parameters conditions have an effect on the wear and improve cooling factor such as applied load, sliding speed, frictional time and number of ventilated disk hole. However, it is difficult to know the mutual relation of these factor. In this study, the wear and cooling characteristics using design of experiment containing 4 elements were investigated for an optimal condition for the best motorcycle disk break system employing Taguchi robust experimental design. From this study, the result was shown that vents have an effect on convection area improving more cooling ability and reduced wear of the disk.

The study on a ship energy management system applied rechargeable battery

  • Recently, the study of energy saving technology of ships begins in earnest, as energy saving policies are performed all around the world. SEMS (Ship Energy Management System) is one of the techniques to increase energy efficiency by applying to a independent system like a ship and offshore. SEMS is composed of Cooling Pump Control System (CPCS), Renewable Energy Emergency Power Control System (REEPCS), Load Control System (LCS), and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning System (HVACS). SEMS is enable to increase energy efficiency and achieve integrated management through the interlocking of each system. Especially, it is possible to improve the flexibility of the selection of the generator capacity in conjunction with a rechargeable battery and renewable energy. In this paper, SEMS applied rechargeable battery is proposed and simulated. By applying the rechargeable battery, it was confirmed that SEMS applied rechargeable battery can be operated at optimum efficiency of the generator.

  • This study is intended to evaluate and optimize the characteristics of smoke spreading and the appropriateness of evacuation time extended by operation of smoke control system during fire within the underground space of the building structured in compliance with the smoke control system performance criteria from the local fire safety standard, which has been currently applied to the buildings in Korea. Using the heat release per unit weight of the combustibles, a numerical analysis both in case of smoke control system in operation and the system not in operation was carried out at the several different shopping malls. From the viewpoint of securing the evacuation time, the results were compared in an attempt to assess the appropriateness of the fire safety criteria.

건물의 열성능 평가 지표에 관한 연구 (A Study of Thermal Performance Evaluation Index for Building)

  • This study intends to the adequacy inspection of the room temperature variation rate that is available in the building heat performance evaluation index, so we performed the sensitivity analysis about the room temperature variation rate and the energy consumption in the room. For these purpose, we supposed the models which are composed of the various window area, insulation thickness and ventilation rate. Then we analyzed the simulation using the ESP-r and Seoul weather data. In this research, the pattern of the increasing & decreasing rate of annual load according to the change of the various design factors is similar to the pattern of increasing & decreasing rate of not the K-values but the room temperature variation rate. Also we derive the optimum value of the various design factors and the room temperature variation rate in this analysis model. Further study is to be required the development of convenient tool to use in the real design.

都市 超高層 住居建築의 室內空氣環境의 評價에 관한 硏究 (A Study on the Evaluation of Indoor Air Environment in Super High-Rise Dwelling House)

  • The concept of dwelling space is tend to be changed not only to have reasonable mobility but also to have high quality of indoor air with psychologicaa satisfaction and comfortable. Moreover, recent constructed buildings have a big problem because of exhausted pollution gas and particles from building materials. More serious problem occurs from its high air tightness reducing the ventilation for saving the energy and superior adiabatic insulators to have high heat efficiency. Indoor air quality in super high-rise dwelling house was investigated by measuring pollutants such as $CO_2,=;CO,\;MO_2,\;R_n,\;TSP,\;PM_{10}$, HCHO, Offensive ordor. Subjective evaluation of residential environment is processed for the inhabitants who live in research space by testing environmental load in accordance with environment morphology, exterior environmental factor and post occupancy correlation and influence of attention.

  • Electrical Power supply System conditions of korea high speed train consists of main transformer, four AC-DC PWM converter of Auxiliary Block, Battery Charger in Power Car and Trailer Car, Trailer Inverter, Auxiliary inverter. Main transformer, at nominal voltage of 25kv supplied to secondary winding nominal output Voltage 383Vac, The Auxiliary block consists of AC-DC converters for generating 670VDC power, Auxiliary inverters for ventilation and air compressor, Trailer car inverter provide three phase power supplies at 440Vac for air conditioning and heating. The Battery charger Trailer and Power car supplies 72VDC all necessary equipment to energize the trainset equipment and suppy essential control. This Paper introduces the combined test results of the power supply system for korea high speed train. The main purpose of this combined test is to verify the performance of the power supply system that is designed to operate up to full load test.
