전달행렬을 이용한 유동매체를 가진 배관요소의 진동특성 분석 (Vibration Characteristics of Pipe Element Containing Moving Medium by a Transfer Matrix)

  • 본 연구에서는 보 이론(beam theory)의 변위함수(displacement function)를 도입하고 전달행렬법을 이용하여 각 배관요소의 경계조건에 대한 고유 진동수와 배관 의 불안정성을 일으키는 유체의 임계속도(critical velocity)를 계산 평가하고, 실험 으로 입증된 Blevins의 결과치와 비교하였다.

  • The vibrational system of this study is consisted of a rotating cantilever pipe and the flow in the pipe. The equation of motion is derived by using Lagrange equation. The influences of the rotating angular velocity and the velocities of fluid flow in the pipe have been studied on the dynamic characteristics of a rotating cantilever pipe by numerical method. The tip-amplitude of axial vibration and maximum tip-deflection of axial direction of cantilever pipe are directly proportional to the velocity of fluid and rotating angular velocity of pipe In the steady state. respectively The bending tip-amplitude of cantilever pipe is inversely proportional to the velocity of fluid in the steady state. When the rotating angular velocity is 5 rad/s, the velocity of fluid increase with increasing the natural frequency of axial vibration at second mode and third mode, but the natural frequency axial direction of first mode is decreased. The natural frequency of lateral direction is decreased due to increase of the rotating angular velocity. It identifies that the Influence of velocity of fluid give much variation lower mode of vibration in lateral direction. And the Influence of velocity of fluid give much variation higher mode of vibration in axial direction.

  • 본 연구에서는 필댐 사력부 전단파 속도 주상도 결정시 물성치 변동성에 의해 발생 가능한 불확실성을 평가하고, 평가된 불확실성이 반영된 국내 필댐 사력부를 위한 전단파 속도 주상도 모델을 제안하였다. 이를 위하여 평가된 불확실성을 바탕으로 국내 필댐 사력부에 존재 가능한 깊이-전단파 속도 곡선 400개를 결정하고, 이에 대한 통계분석을 통하여 깊이별 전단파 속도 상한과 하한 곡선을 결정하였다. 결정된 곡선을 바탕으로 Burger 모델 형태의 깊이별 전단파 속도 상한과 하한 주상도 모델을 결정하였다. 결정된 모델은 국내에서 많이 사용되고 있는 Sawada-Takahashi 모델과 비교하였다.

  • The shape variation of billet was investigated by numerical method and spray forming work with variation of average substrate withdrawal velocity$\bar{V}$, withdrawal velocity change interval $\Delta$t and velocity deviation from average velocity $V_{dev}$. The shape and diameter with large$\bar{V}$, $\Delta$t, $V_{dev}$ vary seriously. When $\bar{V}$, $\Delta$t, $V_{dev}$ are smaller, the shape of billet is more simillar to that of the billet with constant withdrawal velocity. The average diameter of billet is determined by only $\bar{V}$, independent of $\Delta$t, $V_{dev}$. With $\bar{V}$, : 0.2 mm/sec $\Delta$t: 200 sec and $V_{dev}$. : 0.2mm/sec billet of constant diameter 230mm$\times$ height 1000mm were manufactured.

이방성 복합재료 판에서의 램파 방정식 (The Lamb Wave Equation in a Composite Plate with Anisotropy)

  • A Lamb wave guided by a plate structure has dispersive characteristics because phase and group velocity change with the variation of frequency and thickness. The Lamb wave has two modes, symmetric and anti-symmetric mode, which propagates symmetrically and non-symmetrically with respect to centerline. In this paper, the derivation of Lamb wave equation with anisotropic material property is investigated. The phase velocity and group velocity dispersion curves are shown using the stiffness matrix of composite materials with the variation of angle.

기체온도 측정을 위한 초음파 계측에 관한 연구 (A Study on Ultrasonic Technique for Measuring Gas Temperature)

  • Measuring temperature with ultrasonic wave apparatus is desirable in the cue of gas below $300^{\circ}$ because of the fact that the temperature of gas is the function of only sound velocity. In this study, being used a heatable wind channel and a blower. the variation of temperature is observed in accordance with flow rate(air velocity). The frequency modulation method is used to measure the temperature which is varying in hot air flow up to $100^{\circ}$. The length changed in the position of ultrasonic sensors is considered. Also. the effects of air velocity at the same temperature and various facing angles of ultrasonic sensors are considered. As a result of this study. it has been found that the temperature in gas flow is correctly measured regardless of both the distance of ultrasonic sensors and the variation of air velocity. and that there is just a little influence of facing angles.

  • The effect of periodic passing wake on the film-coolant flow issuing normally from a flat plate was investigated experimentally. The passing wake was generated by rotating thin circular bars. Depending on the rotational direction the test plate could be simulated as a pressure surface or a suction surface of a gas turbine blade. The phase-averaged velocity components were measured using an X-type hot-wire probe. The Reynolds number based on the free-stream velocity and injection hole diameter was 23, 500 and the velocity ratio which is the ratio of film coolant velocity to free-stream velocity was 0.5. The velocity-triangle induced by the wake was similar to that induced by the one generated at the blade trailing edge. The vertical velocity component induced by the passing wake, which approaches to the suction surface and moves away from the pressure surface, played a dominant role in the variation of the flow field. The variation in the phase-averaged velocity on the pressure surface was greater than on the suction surface, but the turbulence kinetic energy variation on the suction surface appeared larger than on the pressure surface.

리니어모터를 이용한 초정밀 공기정압안내면 개발 (Development of a Aerostatic Guideway Driven by the Linear Motor)

  • In order to discuss the availability of aerostatic guideways driven by the coreless linear motor to ultra precision machine tools, a prototype of guideway is designed and tested in this research. A coreless linear DC motor with the continuous force of 156N and a laser scale with the resolution of $0.01\mu\textrm{m}$ are used as the feeding system. The experiments are performed on the static stiffness, motion accuracy, positioning accuracy, microstep response and variation of velocity. The guideway also has $0.21\mu\textrm{m}$ of positioning error and $0.09\mu\textrm{m}$ of repeatability, and it shows the stable response against the $0.01\mu\textrm{m}$ resolution step command. The velocity variation of feeding system is less than 0.6%. From these results, it is confirmed that the aerostatic guideway driven by the coreless linear motion is very useful for the ultra precision machine tools.

초음파 C-Scan을 이용한 구조용 세라믹스의 기계적 특성평가 (Evaluation of Mechanical Properties of Structural Ceramics ($Al_{2}O_{3}$) Using the High Frequency Ultrasonic C - Scan)

  • Computer-aided high frequency ultrasonic is applied to aluminum oxide(85w%, 94w%, 96w%, and 99w%) MOR(modulus of rupture) samples to evaluate mechanical properties such as density variation, pore content, elastic modulus, shear modulus, and poisson's ratio. Ultrasonic wave velocity and attenuation measurement techniques were used as an evaluator of such properties. Pulse-echo C-Scan images with different fate setting method using 50MHz center frequency 1 inch focal length transducer allows evaluation of density variation and pore content. Elastic modulus calculated with the relation of density and ultrasonic velocity. It shows good reliability as compared with resonance method. Sintered density variation of $0.025g/cm^{3}$, that is 0.6% of theoretical density in $Al_{2}O_{3}$ samples can be observed by ultrasonic velocity measurement. Attenuation measurement method qualitatively agree with 4-point fracture testing result concerning of porosity content.

  • As a first step for aerodynamic analysis of vertical axis wind turbine, dynamic stall characteristics of airfoil was investigated. Dynamic stall of wind turbine airfoil is caused by severe variation of angle of attack and relative velocity of flow around airfoil. Angle of attack and relative velocity can be expressed with tip speed ratio. Variation of angle of attack is strongly dependent on the tip speed ratio. For tip speed ratio, 1.4 and free stream velocity, 15m/s, dynamic stall characteristics of wind turbine airfoil is compared with those of oscillating airfoil having same angle of attack variation.
