속도 모드 양방향 원격 제어의 안정화 에너지 제한 방법의 실험 결과 (Experimental Results on the Energy-bounding Approach to Robustly Stable Rate-mode Bilateral Teleoperation Systems)

  • This paper presents experimental results on the energy-bounding approach to a rate-mode bilateral teleoperation control that can guarantee the robust system stability in variable time-delayed telecommunication environments. Previously, rate-mode energy bounding approach [15] was proposed and verified with experimental results using the simulated remote slave model. In this paper, a real experimental setup using an industrial robot (Denso) as a remote slave robot composed and conducted similar experiments with previous paper. In order to guarantee stability of the Denso when contacting with high impedance wall, velocity based impedance control modified by position based is used. Experimental results show that the rate-mode energy bounding approach can guarantee stable bilateral teleoperation system in the free and contact motion with variable time delay.

  • 본 연구에서는 끝단에 질량이 부착된 복합재료 박판 보의 동특성을 제어하기 위하여 퍼지 알고리즘을 이용한 적응 제어 기법에 대하여 고찰하였다. 적응제어기법을 구현하기 위해 감지기와 작동기의 역할을 할 수 있는 압전재료를 구조물의 중립면상에 삽입하였다. 끝단 질량이 변하는 경우, 비례제어 및 속도제어와 비교해 볼 때, 퍼지 알고리즘을 이용한 제어 기법이 복합재료 박판 보의 동적응답제어에 우수한 성능을 보였다.

  • Dynamic modeling and active vibration control of smart hull structure using Macro Fiber Composite (MFC) actuator is conducted. Finite element modeling is used to obtain equations of motion and boundary effects of smart hull structure. Modal analysis is carried out to investigate the dynamic characteristics of the smart hull structure, and compared to the results of experimental investigation. Negative velocity feedback control algorithm is employed to investigate active damping of hull structure. It is observed that non-resonant vibration of hull structure is suppressed effectively by the MFC actuators.

  • In most cases, a crane is controlled by an open-loop technique. That is, the controller tries to follow a given velocity profile that is designed to minimize the swing of rope and the transfer time. But such a system is not capable of handling various disturbances such as changing rope length and wind effect. In order to overcome this kind of difficulty, this research focuses on the design of a feedback controller using intelligent techniques such as fuzzy logic and neural network. These intelligent techniques has been emplyoyed in order to represent human knowledge and to imitate human learning. The deveped controllers have been evaluated via computer simulation

  • This paper deals with the state estimator and controller. All state variables' feedback in the system were used to improve electro hydraulic servo sysem were used to improve electro hydraulic servo system's responese charact- eristics. Many gains of the state variables'and estimator's are produced by the algebraic Riccati equation, and every state variables'optimal gain and estimator gain is selected by trial and error method. For the designed estimator performance's examination, this paper simulate the time response for the step input, the reduced velocity output in subjected to load torque, and the time response for the step input in changing the inertiamoment.

  • A dynamic model of the Korean total artificial heart(TAH) which contains a brushless DC motor, all of mechanical components, the pump system with integrated variable volume space(WS) and the circulatory system model including the bronchial circulation were established Two different sets of seven differential equations were separately derived for the left and right systolic period of the Korean TAH operation. Throughout the computer simulation, a full-state fEedback optimal controller that minimizes the power consumption of the Korean TAH and drives the end stage velocity of the energy converter to zero was developed based upon the optimal control theory. Robustness of the controller were also analyzed with the dynamic model of the Korean TAH.

  • An experimental and theoretical study on a pneumatic servo system has been conducted using on-off valves and a pneumatic cylinder. A V/I converter has been designed for rapid rising and falling of the solenoid current, which significantly improves the positioning accuracy and settling time of the servo system by shortening the valve opening time. Pulse width modulation was modified to operate on-off valves effectively. A state feedback controller which feeds back position, velocity and acceleration is used to control the system. The influence of controller gains on the system performance is studied to develop a scheme that automatically adjusts the gains using fuzzy logic theory. It is shown experimentally that the proposed fuzzy logic tuner works satisfactorily. A new method for measurements of valve effective areas is proposed, and a partially polytropic model is applied to simulation of the pneumatic system. Simulated results show good agreement with experimental data.

  • The flexural vibration of laminated composite beams with active and passive constrained layer damping has been investigated to design a structure with maximum possible damping capacity. The equations of motion are derived fro flexural vibrations of symmetrical,. multi-layer laminated beams. The damping ratio and model damping of the first bending mode are calculated by means of iterative complex eigensolution method. The direct negative velocity feedback control is used for the active constrained layer damping. It is shown that the flexible laminated beam is more effective in the vibration control for both active and passive constrained layer damping. and this paper addresses a design strategy of laminated composite under flexural vibrations with constrained layer damping.

  • The main purpose of this study is the vibration suppression of rotating composite blade containing distributed piezoelectric sensors and actuators. The blade is modeled by thin-walled, single cell composite beam including the warping function, centrifugal force, Coriolis acceleration and piezoelectric effect. Further, the numerical study is performed m ing finite element method. The vibration of composite rotor is suppressed by piezocomposite actuators and PVDF sensors that are embedded between composite layers. A velocity feedback control algorithm coupling the direct and converse piezoelectric effect is used to actively control the' dynamic response of an integrated structure through a closed control loop. Responses of the rotating blade are investigated. Newmark time integration method is used to calculate the time response of the model. In the numerical simulation, the effect of parameters such as rotating speed, fiber orientation of the blade and size of actuators are studied in detail.
