Variable Parameter Sliding Controller Design for Vehicle Brake with Wheel Slip

  • In this paper, a 4-wheel vehicle model including the effects of tire slip was considered, along with variable parameter sliding control, pushrod force as the end control parameter, and an antilock sliding control, in order to improve the performance of the vehicle longitudinal response. The variable sliding parameter is made to be proportional to the square root of the pressure derivative at the wheel, in order to compensate for large pressure changes in the brake cylinder. A typical tire force-relative slip curve for dry road conditions was used to generate an analytical tire force-relative slip function, and an antilock sliding control process based on the analytical tire force-relative slip function was used. A retrofitted brake system, with the pushrod force as the end control parameter, was employed, and an average decay function was used to suppress the simulation oscillations. Simulation results indicate that the velocity and spacing errors were slightly larger than the results that without considering wheel slip effect, the spacing errors of the lead and follower were insensitive to the adhesion coefficient up to the critical wheel slip value, and the limit for the antilock control on non-constant adhesion road condition was determined by the minimum of the equivalent adhesion coefficient.

  • Maglev train system has been continuously received attention as it provides good ride quality and low noise and vibration level. Furthermore it is an eco-friendly transport system with little dust pollutant. However the dynamic performance of the vehicle has been influenced by the track layout and the structural stability of guideways and girders, etc. Especially the levitation control of magnetic module is the most important performance of the Maglev system and is very sensitive about the control algorithm and the parameters of the controller. In this paper, the co-simulation of the control and dynamic model has been proposed and the simulation results for the running simulation on the curve track has been shown.

  • Even if the shock absorber is developed to Variable S/A or Active S/A, it is necessary to construct data-base or build the dynamic performance characteristic program of Oil S/A. Since both Variable S/A and Active S/A are based on the principle of Oil S/A. To obtain the design technique of Oil S/A, we model the damping mechanism and characteristics of an Oil S/A whose performance was testified. And then it is analyzed the dynamic behaviour characteristics of damping mechanism.

  • With the recent surge in the autonomous driving market, the significance of lane detection technology has escalated. Lane detection plays a pivotal role in autonomous driving systems by identifying lanes to ensure safe vehicle operation. Traditional lane detection models rely on engineers manually extracting lane features from predefined environments. However, real-world road conditions present diverse challenges, hampering the engineers' ability to extract adaptable lane features, resulting in limited performance. Consequently, recent research has focused on developing deep learning based lane detection models to extract lane features directly from data. In this paper, we classify lane detection models into four categories: cluster-based, curve-based, information propagation-based, and anchor-based methods. We conduct an extensive analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of each approach, evaluate the model's performance on an embedded board, and assess their practicality and effectiveness. Based on our findings, we propose future research directions and potential enhancements.

과학기술위성 2호 태양전지 배열기의 전력 성능 분석 및 시험 검증 연구 (Study on Power Analysis and Test Verification for STSAT-2 Solar Array)

  • 대한항공 기술연구원은 한국과학기술원 인공위성연구센터의 과학기술위성 2호 태양전지 배열기 비행모델을 순수 국내기술로 개발하고, 그 성능을 발사환경시험, 궤도환경시험 그리고 모사 태양광 조사 시험을 통해 검증하였다. 개발된 태양전지 배열기가 탑재된 과학기술위성 2호는 국내 최초의 소형위성 발사체인 KSLV-I에 탑재되어 2010년 5월 나로우주센터에서 발사될 예정이며, 발사 후 위성 운용 데이터를 통해 저궤도에서의 개발된 국산 태양전지 배열기의 우주 인증을 수행할 예정이다. 본 연구에서는 과학기술위성 2호 태양전지 배열기의 전력 성능에 영향을 미치는 요소들을 태양전지 등가모델에 적용하여 태양전지 배열기의 전력 특성을 나타내는 전류-전압 곡선을 도출하고, 이를 모사 태양광 조사를 통한 성능 시험 결과와 비교함으로써 태양전지 등가 모델 및 전력 성능 시뮬레이션의 적합성을 검증하였다. 본 논문의 태양전지 배열기 등가 모델 및 전력 성능 시뮬레이션은 과학기술위성 2호의 관제 운용에 있어, 전 임무기간 동안 생성 전력용량에 따른 최적의 부하운용에 사용될 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

A/T차량의 저속 영역에서 댐퍼클러치 작동에 따른 이상 진동 해석 (Analysis of Abnormal Vibration by a Damper Clutch Operation in Low Speed Ranges of A/T Vehicles)

  • A damper clutch in automatic transmission systems has some advantages of fuel economy and dynamic performance. Although a damper clutch operation improves a fuel economy of the vehicles, a positive operation of a damper clutch in a low vehicle speed induces abnormal vibration. This paper analyzed one of reasons for abnormal vibration by a damper clutch operation in low engine speed ranges. A simulation model was designed to confirm the effects of a damper clutch operation under unstable regions of an engine. A theoretical analysis was carried out about an engine operation stability. Simulation was conducted to depict abnormal vibration by a damper clutch operation in unstable regions of an engine performance curve. The effects of an engine operation region for abnormal vibration by a damper clutch was investigated according to the range and the slope of unstable regions. As a result of simulations, a damper clutch operation would be better to avoid an engine unstable regions.

위성 발사체 액체 로켓 엔진의 Pre-burner 성능 모사 (Simulation of Pre-burner Performance in Liquid-fueled Rocket Engine for Satellite Launch Vehicle)

  • 다단 연소를 수행하는 위성 발사체 액체 로켓 엔진의 예연소기 성능을 모사한 in-house code가 개발되고 검증되었다. CEA (Chemical Equilibrium with Applications)의 해석 알고리듬을 바탕으로 하여 예연소기의 화학 반응을 모델링 하였고, gas dynamics 모델링과 연동시켜 예연소기의 성능을 모사하였다. CEA와 비교한 결과 아주 높거나 아주 낮은 O/F ratio를 제외하고는 계산 값들이 거의 일치함을 보여 주었다. 또한 실제 엔진 (RD-8)의 성능곡선과 비교한 결과 개발된 in-house code의 계산 값들이 타당한 범위 내에서 모사되었고, 정상상태에서는 거의 비슷한 결과 값을 보였다.

실제 선로조건에 따른 DMT 화차의 탈선안전도 평가 (The Derailment Safety Estimation of DMT Freight for Real Track Condition)

  • The DMT freight is judged that economic performance is good because can increase cargoes than existing freight. However, the existing freight cars, each with a different balance to the body structure is bogie because the vibrations may occur. Thus, by minimizing vibration over the existing freight securing the safety of the driving if you will not have major problems in cargoes. In this study, multi-body dynamic analysis tool, VI-Rail using the actually Gyeongbu Railroad line and an empty, full freight condition include curve radius, track irregularity, The DMT freight of the derailed wagons were assessed for safety analysis. Full and empty freight conditions for parity in the Gyeongbu Railroad line(Dongdaegoo${\leftrightarrow}$Kyungsan) derailment safety analysis, such as derailment coefficient and the wheel unloaded, echoing the curve and the orbit is affected by the irregularity was found. Full freight condition than the empty conditions showed a significant derailment safety. Overall, the limits of derailment coefficient(Q/P = 0.8) and wheel unload decrement limits(${\triangle}P/P$ = 0.6) is less safe with me confirmed that the derailment safety.

ADAMS를 이용한 3-Piece 마찰 웨지 댐퍼가 장착된 화차의 동특성 해석 (Dynamic Characteristic Analysis of 3-Piece Freight Vehicle with Wedge Friction Damper Using ADAMS)

  • 본 연구에서는 3-piece 마찰 웨지 화차의 주행성능을 예측하기 위해 ADAMS/View에서 독립하중 마찰 웨지 모델을 개발하였다. 마찰 웨지 모델은 볼스터의 좌우, 수직방향에 따른 마찰을 각각 구현해줄 수 있다. 개발된 마찰 웨지 모델은 ADAMS/Rail 차량 모델에 적용하여 동역학 해석 결과를 얻었다. 대상차량은 임계속도 210km/h를 가진다. 직선 안정성 해석에서 UIC518에 근거해 차체의 횡, 수직방향 한계 가속도에 만족하는 것을 확인하였다. 300R 곡선에서 해석 적용 속도는 70km/h로 UIC518에 근거해 차체, 대차의 한계 가속도에 만족하였다. 또한 "철도차량 안전기준에 관한 규칙"의 윤중감소율, 횡압, 탈선계수에 만족하는 것을 확인하였다.
