Flat form technology for constructing anticancer loaded multi-walled carbon nanotubes (mwCNTs) was introduced in this study. Conventional anticancer drugs, such as MTX (Methotrexate), cisplatin, DOX (Doxorubicin hydrochloride), DAU (Daunorubicin) and EPI (epirubicin) were bio-conjugated with folic acid (FA) for selective targeting tumor cells. Loading efficiencies of the used anticancer drugs on mwCNTs have shown different order of bindings depending on the molecular bind affinity of NH (amine) formation on mwCNTs. MTT assays have shown increased selective target efficiency of FA conjugated mwCNTs on breast cancer cell growth inhibition. All results collectively indicated promising application of mwCNTs as a smart inorganic nanomaterial for selective targeting drug delivery vehicle at tumor tissues.
This article intends to examine main features of revision in relation to the duration of cover in the Institute Cargo Clauses 2009 and the results of analysis are as followings. First, the cover, which had been "warehouse to warehouse", has been extended to what may be called "shelf to unloading". Thus the insurance attaches when the goods are first moved within the warehouse or place of storage at the named place for the purpose of immediate loading for the commencement of transit. Secondly, the new termination Clause 8.1.3 requires an election by the assured, or their employees, to use a vehicle or container, for storage other than in the ordinary course of transit. Thirdly, Clause 10.1, which deals with the assured's voluntary change of voyage, was amended to solve the problem that the words "held covered" could be misunderstood by an assured without specialist knowledge of English marine insurance law to be a guarantee of cover, even where cover would not be commercially available. Finally, Clause 10.2 is designed to solve the so-called "phantom ship problem", arising from the harsh decision in The Prestrioka. The new Clause 10.2 provides protection for an innocent assured in the situation of a phantom ship.

Numerical analysis of PSC box bridge bearings for high speed KTX train vehicles has been carried out as a virtual simulation for Ubiquitous Technology. Improved numerical models of bridge, vehicle and interaction between bridge and train are considered, where bending and torsional modes are provided, whereas the exist UIC code is applied by the simplified HL loading. Dynamic and static analysed results are compared to get Dynamic Amplification Factors (D. A. F.) for maximum deflections and bending stresses up to running speed of 500 km/h. Equation from the regression analysis for the D. A. F. is presented. Sliding distance of the bearings for various KTX running speeds is compared with maximum and accumulated distances by the dynamic behaviors of PSC box bridge. Dynamic and static simulated sliding distances of the bearings according to the KTX running speed are proved as a major parameter in spite of the specifications of AASHTO and EN1337-2 focused on the distance by temperature variations.
The aim of this study is to examine the obligations of delivery of the goods focusing on the methods of delivery under the Incoterms 2010, comparing with CISG. The Incoterms 2010 provides various methods of delivery of the goods under the each rule(11 rules). And it is a little confusing for the parties of the contract of sales. This study reviewed specific methods of delivery of the goods with the view of practitioner. The purpose of Incoterms is to avoid misunderstanding of the contract of sales and to promote the international transactions. The uncertainties of the Incoterms 2010 shall cause disputes between the parties. Especially, when vehicles are used to pick up and deliver the goods, which party is responsible for the loading and unloading the goods. Under the D-term, which party is responsible for unloading the goods from the vehicle reached at the named place of destination is a little confusing. This study suggest some ideas on the specific methods of delivery to mitigate uncertainties and accept current practices at the field. Firstly, under the EXW rule, the seller must deliver the goods on the arriving means of transport at the seller's premises. Secondly, under the FCA rule, the seller must deliver the goods unloaded at the other place except seller's premises. Thirdly, under the CPT, CIP rules, the seller must deliver the goods unloaded irrespective of the mode of transport at the place of destination. Fourthly, the FOB, CFR, CIF rules must adapt the container transport practice.

This study investigates the aging characteristics of NOx storage and reduction(NSR) catalyst on the emission conditions of lean burn natural gas vehicles. We designed various NSR catalysts using by the double-layer washcoat technology to increase of a surface area and a thermal durability performance of the catalysts. The experiments were conducted with 3 kinds of the NSR catalysts, which were manufactured using by a honeycomb cordierite substrate. It was found that Ba is weak in the thermal aging because it has lower melting temperature than that of precious metals (PMs). The suitable loading amount of Ba in this study should be about 42 g/L from the results of the NOx adsorption and the NOx reduction efficiency. The major reason in deactivation of the NSR catalyst is the decrease of the adsorption site owing to the agglomeration and sintering of Ba rather than PM aging by hydrothermal aging. It was confirmed by results of BET, SEM and TEM.
This paper will examine the possibilities of the virtual tests of composite structures by simulating mechanical behaviors by using supercomputing technologies, which have now become easily available and powerful but relatively inexpensive. We will describe mainly the applications of large-scale finite element analysis using the direct numerical simulation (DNS), which describes composite material properties considering individual constituent properties. DNS approach is based on the full microscopic concepts, which can provide detailed information about the local interaction between the constituents and micro-failure mechanisms by separate modeling of each constituent. Various composite materials such as metal matrix composites (MMCs), active fiber composites (AFCs), boron/epoxy cross-ply laminates and 3-D orthogonal woven composites are selected as verification examples of DNS. The effective elastic moduli and impact structural characteristics of the composites are determined using the DNS models. These DNS models can also give the global and local information about deformations and influences of high local in-plane and interlaminar stresses induced by transverse impact loading at a microscopic level inside the materials. Furthermore, the multi-scale models based on DNS concepts considering microscopic and macroscopic structures simultaneously are also developed and a numerical low-velocity impact simulation is performed using these multi-scale DNS models. Through these various applications of DNS models, it can be shown that the DNS approach can provide insights of various structural behaviors of composite structures.
Bridge behavior under passing traffic loads has been studied for the past 50 years. This paper presents how to model congestion on bridges and how the maximum dynamic stress of bridges change during the passing of moving vehicles. Most current research is based on mid-span dynamic effects due to traffic load and most bridge codes define a factor called the dynamic load allowance (DLA), which is applied to the maximum static moment under static loading. This paper presents an algorithm to solve the governing equation of the bridge as well as the equations of motions of two real European trucks with different speeds, simultaneously. It will be shown, considering congestion in eight case studies, the maximum dynamic stress and how far from the mid-span it occurs during the passing of one or two trucks with different speeds. The congestion effect on the maximum dynamic stress of bridges can make a significant difference in the magnitude. By finite difference method, it will be shown that where vehicle speeds are considerably higher, for example in the case of railway bridges which have more than one railway line or in the case of multiple lane highway bridges where congestion is probable, current designing codes may predict dynamic stresses lower than actual stresses; therefore, the consequences of a full length analysis must be used to design safe bridges.

In this paper, a study on low-velocity impact response of four different sandwich panels for the hybrid bodyshell and floor structure application of the Korean low floor bus vehicle was done. Square samples of 100mm sides were subjected low-velocity impact loading using an instrumented testing machine at six energy levels. Impact parameters like maximum force, time to maximum force, deflection at maximum force and absorbed energy were evaluated and compared for four different types of sandwich panels. The impact damage size and depth of the permanent indentation were measured by 3-Dimensional Scanner. Failure modes were studied by sectioning the specimens and observed under optical microscope. The impact test results show that sandwich panel with composite laminate facesheet could not observe damage mode of a permanent visible indentation after impact and has a good impact damage resistance in comparison with sandwich panel with metal aluminum facesheet.
Effects of Nb(Niobium) contents and solution annealing on the strength and fatigue life of 18%Ni maraging steel commonly using in aircraft, space field, nuclear energy, and vehicle etc. were investigated. Also the fatigue life stress intensity factor were compared experiment result and FEA(finite element analysis) result. The more Nb content, the higher or the lower fatigue life on base metal specimens or solution annealed specimens showing that the fatigue lift was almost the same. The maximum stresses of X, Y, and Z axis direction showed about $2.12{\times}10^2MPa,\;4.40{\times}10^2MPa\;and\;1.32{\times}10^2MPa$ respectively. The Y direction stress showed the highest because of the same direction as the loading direction. The fatigue lives showed about 7% lower FEA result than experiment result showing almost invariable error every analyzed cycle. Stress intensity factor of the FEA result was lower about $3.5{\sim}10%$ than that of the experiment result showing that the longer fatigue crack length the higher error. It considered that the cause for the difference was the modeled crack tip having always the same shape and condition regardless of the crack growth.
Ballasted gravel will be damaged or worn by the repetitive train load. And these damages of ballast gravel could be increased by increasing vehicle speed. Therefore, various techniques for reducing the ballast pressure have been proposed, such as the attached pad type of sleeper bottom for ballasted track. In this study, spring stiffness test method were proposed to evaluate the performance of under sleeper pad for ballasted track. Standard ballast plate(SBP) was developed to simulate the ballast gravel and compared with the foreign test results. Experimental results showed a trend similar to the previous studies according to various loading plate type. specimen type(Type A, Type B) differences in spring stiffness according to hardness were not significant. Also, the FSP (Flat steel plate) - shaped jig is about 80% of the spring stiffness was greater than SBP. Therefore, to evaluate the actual spring stiffness of under sleeper pad for ballasted track, it was important to adopted the appropriate spring stiffness test method using the SBP to simulate actual field conditions.
