하이브리드 승용차용 전자식 무단변속기의 개발 (Development of Electronically Controlled CVT for Hybrid Passenger Car)

  • In this paper, the details of electronically controlled CVT is described , which Kia Motor company recently developed in prototype form for hybrid passenger car. This transmission has two input shafts, one for engine and the other for traction motor. The shaft for traction motor is located at rear side which is extended from primary pulley shaft and connected to traction motor through adapter gear box. Adopting two input system, various driving mode is available such as motor alone driving in hybrid vehicle application. As far as electrohydraulic system concerned , this transmission uses two bleed type variable force solenoids for line pressure and ratio control, and one on-off solenoid for clutch control. Another feature for this transmission is that oil pump for transmission is separate from CVT for supplying oil pressure even at vehicle standstill.

  • The power split hybrid powertrain is considered to be one of the most prospective configuration for the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). Toyota Prius, representing this type of vehicle, showed outstanding performances in fuel efficiency, emission reduction and acceleration. The excellence is largely due to the fact that it utilizes almost all operation modes of HEV. Those modes include ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle) driving, idle stop, fuel cut-off, power assist, active charging, regenerative braking and so forth. In this paper, a few of the mode operations were simulated using AVL Cruise. Also, control logics to operate the powertrain in each mode were developed. The states of powertrain components were displayed and analyzed. By controlling the three components (engine, motor and generator), it was possible to run the powertrain in several hybrid operation modes.

  • Internal engine is the main power source of vehicle and is the main source of air pollution. To satisfy this getting rigorous emission regulation, it must be solved simultaneously the dilemma of reducing emission gas and increasing heat efficiency. Diesel engine is preferred compare with gasoline engine in aspect of energy consumption but it must be solved reducing the containing of NOx, CO and HC. In this study 1.   • 모바일 환경에서의 지리정보 서비스는 현장에서 필요한 정보를 즉시 얻고 그것을 현장에 동적으로 적용하도록 함으로써 서비스 대상자의 비용과 효율을 높여줄 수 있다. 현재 모바일 환경에서의 지리정보 서비스는 단순한 차량 내비게이션 정도에 머물고 있으며, 대규모 지형을 포함한 복잡한 지리정보에 대한 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 시스템 사양에 최적화된 콘텐츠의 제공과 처리 기술에 대한 연구가 필요하다.

  • EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) is an effective strategy to control nitrogen oxides emissions from diesel engine. The EGR reduces $NO_x$ through lowering the oxygen concentration in the combustion chamber as well as through heat absorption. However, application of EGR system is difficult because of the penalty in fuel consumption and the increase in particulate matter. The engine used for the experimental was a 3-cylinder 0.8-liter turbo-charged light duty diesel engine with an electronic EGR valve. In this study, experiments were performed at variable vehicle speeds and loads on the chassis dynamometer. To evaluate the exhaust emissions with the EGR system testing was performed using cvs-75 mode test procedure. Results of the cvs-75 mode test achieve sufficiently to meet EURO3 standards.

  • The process of Lay-out design and assembly for liquid rocket engine was presented and the Lay-out design for main components of liquid Rocket engine system was studied. Vertical direction is recommended in the case of turbopump's arrangement. If the length of pipe between gas-generator with turbopump's turbine is shorter, gas-generator is stable. The arrangements of main valves are recommended as near disposition to combustion chamber, because shut-down process time is shorter. Interference with launch vehicle and structural strength considering gimbal actuator's force and control performance is considered in the case of gimbal actuator's supporter design.

  • 본 논문에서는 개방형 사이클 액체로켓엔진의 시동해석을 위해 개발된 해석 코드의 수학적 모델을 제시하였다. 추진제 공급 배관에서의 추진제 충진 과정을 포함하여 엔진을 구성하는 대부분의 요소를 고려하였다. 한국형발사체 시험발사체에 사용된 75톤급 엔진의 시동해석을 수행하였으며, 해석 결과와 실험 결과가 잘 일치함을 보임으로써 시동해석 코드의 타당성을 증명하였다.

LPi 시스템 자동차의 인젝터, 공회전 액추에이터 및 개스킷 고장사례 연구 (Study for Failure Examples of Injector, Idle Speed Actuator and Gasket in LPi System Vehicle)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 LPG 자동차의 액상 분사시스템에 관련된 고장사례를 연구하는 것이다. LPi 분사시스템인 인젝터를 점검한 결과, 인젝터에 카본이 누적되어 운전 중에 간헐적으로 연료를 분사하는 인젝터의 미세한 홀을 막아 연비를 5% 정도 떨어뜨리는 것으로 확인되었다. 엔진의 공회전을 조절하는 시스템인 공회전 조절장치 부품과 엔진에 공기를 공급하는 시스템인 스로틀 보디에 카본이 퇴적되어 공기의 흐름을 간섭함으로써 연비가 7% 악화된 것을 확인되었다. 엔진의 흡기 매니폴드 개스킷의 일부가 찢어져, 실린더 헤드와 실린더 블록의 밀착성이 약화되어 흡기행정에서 외부의 공기가 이 틈새로 간헐적으로 유입되면서 증가된 공기량만큼 연료량의 증가를 가져와 엔진의 회전수가 증가하여 부조화 현상이 발생되어 정상적인 상태보다 연비가 3% 정도 악화된 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 고장사례는 운전중에 엔진의 출력 성능을 떨어뜨리고, 자동차의 연비를 악화시키는 요인이 된다. 따라서 품질확보에 철저하게 대처하여 고장현상을 최소화 하여야 할 것으로 판단된다.
