신경망 슬라이딩 곡면을 이용한 비선형 다변수 시스템의 제어기 설계 (Design of Controller for Nonlinear Multivariable System Using Neural Network Sliding Surface)

  • 슬라이딩 모드를 가진 가변 구조 제어(VSC)에서의 불연속적인 제어 법칙은 실제로 바람직하지 못한 떨림 현상을 발생시킨다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 신경망 슬라이딩 곡면을 갖는 VSC 구조를 제안한다. 불연속 제어 법칙을 해결하기 위해 경계층을 가진 신경망 슬라이딩 곡면이 도입된다. 제안된 제어기는 보편적인 VSC의 떨림 현상 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 제안된 제어 구조의 효과는 시뮬레이션을 통해 증명하였다.

  • This paper deals with stand-alone Photovoltaic system(SPVS) with charge and discharge controller. Main power source of SPVS are generally solar cell and battery. Therefore SPVS can be classified into variable types in accordance with connection type between battery and solar cell. Mainly used one of them is direct connection type which has advantages such as simple structure and simple controller. However most big drawback of this system is energy loss by voltage disharmony between solar cell and battery. Therefore SPVS with charge and discharge controller which can operate solar cell at maximum power point is designed and analyzed by simulation in this paper.

  • This paper presents a design method of sliding mode control (SMC) for single input linear systems with mismatched uncertainties. We define a virtual state based on the controllable canonical form of the nominal system. And we define a sliding surface for the augmented system with a virtual state. This sliding surface makes it possible to use SMC technique with various types of controllers. In this paper, we construct a controller that combines SMC with robust controller. We design a robust controller for the system with only mismatched uncertainties using a form of linear matrix inequality (LMI). We make a virtual state from this robust control input and the states of the nominal system. And we design a sliding mode controller that stabilizes the overall closed-loop system.

DSP Based Control of Interleaved Boost Converter

  • In this paper a DSP based control scheme for the interleaved boost converter is presented. The mathematical model for the interleaved boost converter operating in a continuous inductor current mode is developed. A state-space averaging technique is used for modeling the converter system. A fixed frequency sliding mode controller is designed to ensure current distribution between the two converter modules and to achieve the load voltage regulation simultaneously. Necessary and sufficient conditions, using variable structure theory, are derived for the sliding mode to exist. The range of sliding mode controller coefficients is also determined. The designed controller capability, load distribution among the individual boost cells and load voltage regulation against source and load disturbances, are demonstrated through PSIM simulation results. A real-time controller based on ADMC401 DSP is developed. Experimental results are provided to validate the proposed control scheme.

  • Binary control with integral COFB is presented to alleviate the chattering. Binary control system consists of the main loop and the external loop which transforms the gain of main loop smoothly, and can generate the continuous control input under the existence of the delay and the switching frequency limitation of the controller. Therefore, it has the properties of chattering alleviation, in addition, advantages of the conventional variable structure control. To confirm the validity of the developed controller, position control of brushless DC motor with binary controller as a position controller is performed.

  • Distribution energy resources have been increasing in recent years. However, output power is limited for distribution network stability. This study proposes an active distribution network that can reconfigure distribution lines by using an active phase controller. A conventional distribution network has a fixed structure, whereas an active distribution network has a variable structure. Therefore, the latter can increase the output power of distribution energy resources and decrease the overload of distribution line facilities. An active phase controller has two operation modes for minimizing circulating current during dynamic reconfiguration. In this study, voltage and current control algorithms are proposed for active phase controllers. The simulation of the proposed methods for active phase controllers is performed using PSIM software.

  • In this paper, we proposed an optimal identification method of identifying the membership func¬tions and the fuzzy rules for the stabilization controller of the nonlinear system by RVEGA( Real Variable Elitist Genetic Algo rithm l. Although fuzzy logic controllers have been successfully applied to industrial plants, most of them have been relied heavily on expert's empirical knowl¬edge. So it is very difficult to determine the linguistic state space partitions and parameters of the membership functions and to extract the control rules. Most of conventional approaches have the drastic defects of trapping to a local minima. However, the proposed RVEGA which is similiar to the processes of natural evolution can optimize simulta¬neously the fuzzy rules and the parameters of membership functions. The validity of the RVEGA - based fuzzy controller was proved through applications to the stabi¬lization problems of an inverted pendulum system with highly nonlinear dynamics. The proposed RVEGA - based fuzzy controller has a swing -. up control mode(swing - up controller) and a stabi¬lization one(stabilization controller), moves a pendulum in an initial stable equilibrium point and a cart in an arbitrary position, to an unstable equilibrium point and a center of the rail. The stabi¬lization controller is composed of a hierarchical fuzzy inference structure; that is, the lower level inference for the virtual equilibrium point and the higher level one for position control of the cart according to the firstly inferred virtual equilibrium point. The experimental apparatus was imple¬mented by a DT -- 2801 board with AID, D/A converters and a PC - 586 microprocessor.

  • 본 논문에서는 기본적인 형태는 퍼지 제어의 형태를 유지하면서 그 세부적 요소들을 신경회로망으로 구성한 뉴로-퍼지 제어기를 설계하였다. 뉴로-퍼지 제어기는 퍼지 제어 및 신경회로망 제어가 갖는 장단점을 서로 보완할 수 있도록 하였으며 On-Line상태에서 동조가 이루어지도록 하였다. 본 제어기의 성능을 평가하기 위해서 현재 로봇제어에서 많이 사용되고 있는 교류 서보 전동기의 속도제어에 적용시켰다. 가장 보편적인 제어기인 PID제어기 및 퍼지제어기와 비교실험 함으로써 제어기로서의 안정한 특성을 입증하였다. 특히 로봇처럼 급격한 부하변동에 대응할 수 있는 제어기 설계를 위해 부하를 인가하여 실험을 수행하여 성능을 입증하였다.

  • In order to establish the design technique of the robust current controller in d.c series wound motor driver system, this paper proposes a method of the compensated Bang-Bang current control using d.c series wound motor driver system under the improperly variable load to get minimum time for the torque control. The compensated Bang-Bang current controller structure is simpler than that of PID plus Bang-Bang controller. This paper shows that a general 16 bits microprocessor is efficiently used to implement such an algorithm. The calculation time of software is extremely small when compared with that of conventional PID plus Bang-Bang controller. Both nonlinear operating characteristics of digital switching elements and describing function methods are used for the analysis and synthesis. Real-time implementation of the compensated Bang-Bang current controller is achieved. The concept of design strategy of the control and the PWM waveform generation algorithms are presented in this paper.
