듀얼 냉동사이클을 이용하는 특수목적 자동차용 에어컨 시스템의 냉방성능에 관한 연구 (Investigation on the Performance of Special Purpose Automotive Air-Conditioning System Using Dual Refrigeration Cycle)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 열대 지방에서 사용되는 특수목적 자동차용 에어컨 시스템의 냉방성능 특성을 고찰하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 R-134a를 사용하는 듀얼 냉동사이클을 구성하였고 냉매량 및 실내온도를 변화시켜가면서 냉방성능을 비교하였다. 외기온도 $40.0^{\circ}C$에서 듀얼 냉동사이클의 실내 냉각속도 및 압축비(토출압력) 등을 고려하여 최적 냉매량을 1.5kg으로 선정하였다. 실내온도가 증가할수록 냉방부하가 증가하여 $25.0^{\circ}C$에서 $32.5^{\circ}C$로 실내온도를 높일 경우 $15.0^{\circ}C$에 도달하는데 걸리는 시간은 86.5% 증가하였고, $32.5^{\circ}C$에서 $40.0^{\circ}C$로 증가할 경우 38.1% 증가하였다. 또한, 실내온도가 $25.0^{\circ}C$에서 $40.0^{\circ}C$로 증가할수록 냉방용량은 19.1 kW에서 20.5 kW로 7.3% 증가했으나 냉방성능(COP)는 4.67에서 5.1로 7.0%감소하였다.

단열 모세관내 R600a의 유동 특성 (Flow Characteristics of R600a in an Adiabatic Capillary Tube)

  • 본 논문은 균질유동모델을 적용하여 단열 모세관내 R600a의 유동 특성을 이론적으로 조사하였다. 이 모델은 시뮬레이션 해석에 필요한 기본적인 질량, 에너지, 운동량 방정식에 근거하고 있다. 또한 2개의 마찰인자와 점성계수모델을 이용하여 유동특성을 조사하였다. R600a의 열역학 및 전달 물성치는 EES 물성치 코드를 이용하여 계산하였다. 작동변수들에 대한 기초 설계자료를 제공하고자 단열 모세관내 R600a의 유동 특성을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 작동변수에는 응축온도, 증발온도, 과냉각도, 모세관의 직경이 있다. 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. R600a용 단열 모세관내 응축온도, 증발온도, 과냉각도, 관직경은 모세관 전체길이에 영향을 준다. 즉 R600a용 모세관 전체길이는 식(15)와 같은 상관식으로 나타낸다.

공동주택단지 난방시스템들에 대한 경제성 평가 (Economic evaluation on heating systems of apartment complex)

  • The heating system for apartment complex may be classified as old systems including central system with steam boiler(S1), gas engine driven heat pump system(S2), system using waste heat(S3) and new systems including mechanical vapor re-compression system with flashing heat exchangers(S4), system using methanol(S5), system using metal hydride (S6). The purpose of the present study is to suggest optimal heating system by technically, economically and environmentally evaluating old and new heating systems of apartment complex from 500 to 3,000 households. Economic evaluation based on the technical evaluation results which estimated heat transfer area of heat exchangers and capacity of equipments was estimated initial investment cost, annual operating cost and relative payback period by considering annual increasing rates of energy cost and interest. Environmental evaluation provided annual generation rate of carbon dioxide. Initial investment cost was cheap in the order of S6, S5, S3, S2, S4, S1, annual operating cost was cheap in the order of S1, S2, S4, S5 and relative payback period was short in the order of S6, S5, S2, S3 and S4. Relative payback period was within 8 years for all scenarios of 3,000 households, and was increased as annual increasing rates of energy cost and interest were increased. As transportation pipe length was increased twice, payback period was increased by 1.4~2.6 time. The effect of temperatures of waste gas and waste water on the relative payback period was small within 0.8 years. The annual generation rate of carbon dioxide was big in the order of S4, S2 and S1. S4 was the most economic system among whole scenarios when S1 was replaced with other scenarios.

전기히터식 및 히트펌프식 식품 건조기의 에너지 성능 비교 (Energy Performance Analysis of Electric Heater and Heat Pump Food Dryers)

  • In this study, energy performance of two types of food dryers which are electric heater and heat pump is studied experimentally. With drying chamber temperatures controlled at 45, 50 and $55^{\circ}C$, sliced radish is dried from an initial mass of 90 to final 7 kg. Moisture content, drying time, total power consumption, MER (moisture extraction rate, kg/h) and SMER (specific moisture extraction rate, kg/kWh) are measured and analyzed. As the drying chamber temperature is increased, drying time is shortened but energy efficiency is reduced for both types. For an electric heater dryer, the effect of chamber temperature on drying time is significant but less significant on energy efficiency. For a heat pump dryer, the dependence of chamber temperature on drying time is weak but strong on energy efficiency. Temperature levels have little effect on electric heater dryer performance but strong effect on heat pump dryer which operates on a vapor compression refrigeration cycle. The energy performance of the heat pump dryer is superior with an average SMER of 2.175 kg/kWh which is 2.22 times greater than that of the electric heater dryer with SMER of 1.224 kg/kWh.

12.7mm 내면핀관을 이용한 R-1270의 열전달 특성 (Heat Transfer Characteristics of R-1270 using 12.7mm Inner Fin Tube)

  • This paper deals with the heat transfer characteristics of R-290 (Propane), R-600a (Iso-butane) and R-1270 (Propylene) as an environment friendly refrigerant and R-22 as a HCFC's refrigerant for evaporating. The experimental apparatus has been set-up as conventional vapor compression type refrigeration and air-conditioning system. The test section is a horizontal double pipe heat exchanger. Evaporating heat transfer measurements were performed for smooth tube with the outer diameters of 12.70, 9.52 and 6.35 mm and micro-fin tube 12.70 mm, respectively. For the smooth and micro-fin tubes measured in this study, the evaporating heat transfer coefficient was enhanced according to the increase of the mass flux and decrease of the tube diameter. The local evaporating heat transfer coefficients of hydrocarbon refrigerants were superior to those of R-22 and the maximum increasing rate of heat transfer coefficient was found in R-1270. The average evaporating heat transfer coefficients in hydrocarbon refrigerants showed 20 to 28% higher values than those of R-22. Also, the evaporating heat transfer coefficients of R-22 in the tube diameter of the 12.70 mm smooth and micro-fin tube were compared. Generally, the local heat transfer coefficients for both types of tubes increased with an increase of the mass flux. The heat transfer enhancement factor (EF) between smooth and micro-fin tube varied from 1.9 to 2.7 in all experimental conditions.

CO2 수송선 저장탱크의 BOG 측정 실험 및 회수에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Experimental Measurements and Its Recovery for the Rate of Boil-Off Gas from the Storage Tank of the CO2 Transport Ship)

  • 화석연료로부터 에너지를 얻을 때, 연소반응에 의해 이산화탄소가 생성되어 진다. 이렇게 이산화탄소의 배출이 늘어나게 되면 지구온난화 문제가 더욱 심각해지게 된다. 따라서 이를 방지하기 위한 이산화탄소 포집 및 저장기술(carbon capture and storage, CCS) 개발이 요구되고 있다. 하지만 액화 이산화탄소를 수송 시 여러 문제로 인해 지속적으로 BOG (boil-off gas)가 발생하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 $40m^3$저장 탱크 2대에 액화 이산화탄소를 주입하여 압력변화 및 외부열과 선적, 하역 시 발생하는 BOG의 양과 조성을 30일 간 측정하였다. 측정한 결과 16,040 kg의 BOG가 발생하였으며, 조성은 $CO_2$ 99.95%, $N_2$ 0.05%인 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 상용성 모사기인 PRO/II with PROVISION 9.2를 이용하여 발생한 BOG를 증기 재압축 냉동사이클을 통해 재액화 하는 전산모사를 수행하였다. 그 결과 냉동사이클의 총 순환유량은 42.07 kg/h, 응축기 설비의 소모량은 48.85 kg/h가 나오는 것을 알 수 있었다.
