In modern dynamic management environment, there is growing recognition that? information & knowledge management systems are essential for CEO's efficient/effective decision making. As a key component to cope with this current, we suggest the management performance analysis syystem based on Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD). The system measures management performance that is considered with both VA(Value- Added), which represents stakeholder's point of view and EVA(Economic Value-Added), which represents shareholder's point of view. The relation ship between management performance and some 80 financial ratios is analyzed, and then important financial ratios are drawn out. In analyzing the relationship, we applied KDD process which includes such as multidimensional cube, OLAP(On-Line Analytic Process), data mining and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). To demonstrate the performance of the system, we conducted a case study using financial data over the 16-years from 1981 to 1996 of Korean automobile industry which is taken from database of KISF AS(Korea Investors Services Financial Analysis System).

There is a belief that timely and precise data are important to decisions and the better decisions are related to better firm performance. However, empirical research investigating the effect of data quality on firm financial performance is still scarce up to recently. Current study empirically explores such an effect of data quality on firm accounting performance in the Korean manufacturing industry during 2008~2010 with secondary data. The results show that better data quality does not impact on sales and operating profit, but positively and significantly impacts on EVA(Economic Value Added). Raising the level of data quality management maturity by one level can increase EVA by about 34% in manufacturing firms.

We present the second data release from the SAMI Galaxy Survey. The data release contains reduced spectral cubes for 1559 galaxies, about 50% of the full survey, having a redshift range 0.004 < z < 0.113 and a large stellar mass range 7.5 < log($M_*/M_{\odot}$) < 11.6. This release also includes stellar kinematic and stellar population value-added products derived from absorption line measurements, and all emission line value-added products from Data Release One. The data are provided online through Australian Astronomical Optics' Data Central. Our poster presents stellar/gas kinematics on the metallicity-mass plane and highlight several galaxies from the SAMI Galaxy Survey that have interesting stellar and gas kinematics. This paper tries to suggest the Model of Fisheries Information Systems(FIS) with information technology. The paper shows the analysis and design of FIS. FIS consists of three inportant parts. They are database system, modelbase system and networking. Database systems report to infer the statistic, institute, maket of fisheries. Modelbase systems are used to forecast and plan the automation of fisheries. Networking is needed to develop the Value-Added Networking(VAN). FIS will be highly possible to develop the biggest VAN in Korea.

The value chain is analytically useful for the cultural industry that has the characteristics of both manufacture and service industry, as the focus of value chain analysis moves from manufacturing only to the other stages of activity involved in supplying goods and services to consumers. The aim of paper is to analyse the value chain of the cultural industry in Gyeongbuk, find out the strengths and weaknesses of it, and suggest the ways to enhance the innovation capabilities of cultural industry in Gyeongbuk. First, the firms in advertisement & marketing, and circulation & distribution have low percent in cultural industry and need the low level of human resource, but produce high value-added in value chain; so, we should facilitate the make-up of the firms in advertisement & marketing, and circulation & distribution. Second, we should strengthen inter-firm networks to facilitate the ex-change of the equipment, human resource, information and technology between them. Third, we should construct the system to development human resource with two levels and spread the open atmosphere of firms.

In the modern scientific R&D, the efficient acquisition, curation, analysis and visualization are core elements of the science development. The value of scientific data is very important in data intensive research. An output of scientific data is drastically increasing. However we have only each individual system of scientific data in now. Therefore We feel a lack of efficiency of scientific data. In this paper, We analyze an economic ripple effects in terms of production inducement effect, added value inducement effect, labor inducement effect and forward backward linkage effect of national scientific data center construction using an input-out analysis of the bank of Korea(2009). We also examine an economic propriety of national scientific data center construction.

The science & technology information is core point of the knowledge based society which will accomplish the role which economic development is lead. Simultaneously, Korea will jump at powerful country of knowledge information. But, There is not analysis about affects in the economic growth and various economic structure which follows in national knowledge information system development. This research analyses the economic ripple effects, in terms of production inducement effect, added value inducement effect, import inducement effect, labor inducement effect, of national knowledge information system development in KISTI from 2001 to 2008, using an input-output analysis of the bank of Korea(2007). It also examines economic propriety using an benefit-cost analysis for national knowledge information system development.

Redundant expressions must be eliminated in order to apply optimization for expressions in SSA Form from CTOC. This paper applied VN(Value Numbering) for this purpose. In order to carry out VN, SSAGraph must be first generated to maintain the information in the SSA Form, equivalent nodes must be found and SCC(Strongly Connected Component) generated. Equivalent nodes are assigned with an identical valnum through SCC. We could confirm elimiations for many nodes that added at SSA Form process after VN. The valnum can be applied in optimization and type inference.

Data Alignment is achieved when all trading partners information systems are maintained automatically synchronising with the suppliers information systems on a continuing basis. Electronic catalogues facilitate the ongoing synchronisation of data between trading partners and large retailers in United States and Canada use electronic catalog in order to get rid of non-value added paperwork and manual reconciliation. Data Alignment will dramatically improve the effectiveness of E-Commerce and Supply Chain initiatives including electronic Marketplaces, Collaborative Planning and Forecasting and continuous replenishment processes.
