Survey of Korean CM Contracts for Current Status and Future Direction: Based on 1997 to 2013 Statistics

  • As domestic construction investment has been gradually reduced, expanding overseas construction is one of the most important issues for Korean construction companies. Among these issues, strategies for overseas CM services have widely been discussed, because the CM services have features of high growth potential and value-added area when compared with other construction sectors. Therefore, recent efforts focus on further development in advanced CM capabilities and expansion to overseas market. However, there has been lack of quantitative research to investigate current status and future direction of CM industry. In this sense, this research investigated what CM has achieved for the past 17years (between 1997 and 2013) and what CM should accomplish for future strategies. The purpose of this research is to statistically analyze total of 2,983 CM service contracts over the past 17 years published in KISCON (Knowledge Information System of Construction Industry) in order to examine current status of CM industry in terms of market type, contract size, commodity type, and owner's type. Based on this research, it is expected to suggest for future strategies and development directions from the CM industry perspective that could provide quantitative analyses, improve current CM statistics systems and strengthen the competitiveness in international CM market.

색상 필터 배열을 위한 효율적인 색상 보간 방법 (An Efficient Color Interpolation Method for Color Filter Array)

  • 디지털 카메라와 같은 장치에서 사용하는 단일 영상 센서는 화소 당 삼원색 중 하나의 색상만을 가진 서브샘플된 영상을 제공한다. 이 영상은 색상 보간이라는 영상 처리를 통해 완전한 색상 영상으로 복원된다. 본 논문에서는 영상 센서로부터 획득한 데이터의 평균과 각 색 채널 데이터 평균 사이의 관계를 유도하고, 이 관계를 이용하여 색상 보간을 위한 효율적인 새로운 방법을 제안하였다. 유도한 데이터 평균 관계는 채널간의 색상차가 지역적으로 균일하다는 가정을 이용하였다. 또한 휘도신호 채널의 보간은 지퍼 효과를 감소시키기 위해서 에지 방향을 따라 보간 하였다. 한편 색상신호 채널은 휘도신호 채널과의 차를 평균하고, 이 평균값을 보간할 위치의 색상 값에 더하여 복원하였다. 본 논문에서는 제안한 방법을 기존의 방법들과의 비교 실험을 통해 제안한 방법의 우수함을 입증하였다.

Recovery of Zirconium and Removal of Uranium from Alloy Waste by Chloride Volatilization Method

  • The chloride volatilization method for the recovery of zirconium and removal of uranium from zirconium containing metallic wastes formed in spent fuel reprocessing was studied using the simulated alloy waste, i.e. the mixture of Zr foil and UO$_2$/U$_3$O$_{8}$ powder. When the simulated waste was heated to react with chlorine gas at 350- l00$0^{\circ}C$, the zirconium metal changed to volatile ZrCl$_4$showing high volatility ratio (Vzr) of 99%. The amount of volatilized uranium increases at higher temperatures causing lowering of decontamination factor (DF) of uranium. This is thought to be caused by the chlorination of UO$_2$ with ZrCl$_4$vapor. The highest DF value of 12.5 was obtained when the reaction temperature was 35$0^{\circ}C$. Addition of 10 vol.% oxygen gas into chlorine gas was effective for suppressing the volatilization of uranium, while the volatilization ratio of zirconium was decreased to 68% with the addition of 20 vol.% oxygen. In the case of the mixture of Zr foil and U$_3$O$_{8}$, the V value of uranium showed minimum (44%) at 40$0^{\circ}C$ with chlorine gas giving the highest DF value 24.3. When the 10 vol.% oxygen was added to chlorine gas, the V value of zirconium decreased to 82% at $600^{\circ}C$, but almost all the uranium volatilized (Vu=99%), which may be caused by the formation of volatile uranium chlorides under oxidative atmosphere.ere.

  • 최근 소비자의 취향이 다양해지고 소비패턴이 변화하며 상품 포장디자인이 점차 발전한다는 것을 체감할 수 있다. 상품 포장디자인은 내용물을 정확하게 알 수 있게 만들어져야 하고 소비자의 눈길을 끌어 상품을 구매하고 싶도록 만드는 매력을 가지고 있어야 한다. 또한 상품디자인은 소비자들에게 시각적 효과를 유도한 그래픽 요소와 더불어 브랜드 네이밍, 패키지 레이아웃, 내용물 표현방법, 맛을 상상할 수 있는 색감 등에 따라 구매의욕을 일으켜야 한다. 상품의 포장디자인에서 내용물에 대한 이미지를 한 눈에 알 수 있게 표현한 그래픽 요소는 상품의 부가가치를 높이고 소비자의 구매동기 유발이나 유통의 합리화를 이루는 가장 핵심적인 요소라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 축산상품에서 시각정보 메타데이터를 이용한 시각정보 심벌 이미지에 대한 연구이며 다양한 축산 포장에 대한 사례를 살펴보고 메타데이터 요소로 축산 이미지를 한 눈에 알 수 있게 표현한 그래픽 요소를 제시하여 축산상품에 활용하고자 한다. 축산 상품의 프리미엄화를 추구하고, 브랜드 가치를 높이며 차별화된 디자인 전략으로 경제적 효과와 더불어 축산 시장 활성화를 위한 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.

한국의 세계유산을 활용한 패션문화상품 개발 - 한글 글자꼴과 건축물을 중심으로 - (Development of fashion cultural products utilizing the World Heritage of Korea - Focusing on Hangeul font and architecture -)

  • As a plan for establishing Korea's cultural identity and its competitive edge in the world market and for enhancing Korea's cultural status, creative and unique high value-added cultural products need to be developed utilizing our inherent cultural assets. Accordingly, this study focused on the development of the design of fashion cultural products that utilize the convergence of Hangeul our peculiar font style and Korea's cultural heritage, which is registered as part of UNESCO's World Heritage. A design method was devised that converges archetypal images of cultural property with the unique Hangeul font in a way that targets Korea's symbolic architectures. The symbolic architecture includes Korea's world-heritage pagoda architecture, such as Seokgatap pagoda and Dabotap pagoda at Bulguksa temple. It also included the architecture of royal palace, such as Injeongjeon hall at Changdeokgung palace. Finally, it also included the architecture of the fortress wall, such as Paldalmun gate in Hwaseong fortress. Thus, by developing cultural assets made from a convergence between architecture and the Hangeul font as a consumer-product image that has universality, the possibility of cultural products was pursued by applying color planning after an analysis that involved extracting the compositional colors of the flags of the world. This research and approach will lead to opportunities for further progress for Korea's cultural products in the global market as a results of additional recognition for their value, excellence, and universal appeal.

Application of Informer for time-series NO2 prediction

  • 본 논문에서는 딥러닝 시계열 예측 모형을 평가한다. 최근 연구에 따르면 이 모형은 ARIMA와 같은 기존 예측 모형보다 성능이 우수하다고 결론짓는다. 그 중 히든 레이어에 이전 정보를 저장하는 순환 신경망이 이를 위한 예측 모형 중 하나이다. 네트워크의 그래디언트 소실 문제를 해결하기 위해 LSTM은 데이터 흐름의 반대 방향으로 숨겨진 레이어가 추가되는 BI-LSTM과 함께 순환 신경망 내부의 작은 메모리로 사용된다. 본 논문은 서울의 2018년 1월 1일부터 2022년도 1월 1일까지의 NO2 자료에 대해 Informer의 성능을 LSTM, BI-LSTM, Transformer와 비교하였다. 이에 실제 값과 예측값 사이의 평균 제곱근 오차와 평균 절대 오차를 구하였다. 그 결과 Test 데이터(2021.09.01.~2022.01.01.)에 대해 Informer는 다른 방법에 비해 가장 높은 예측 정확도 (가장 낮은 예측 오차: 평균 제곱근 오차: 0.0167, 평균 절대 오차: 0.0138)를 보여 타 방법에 비해 그 우수성을 입증하였다. Informer는 당초 취지와 부합되게 다른 방법들이 갖고 있는 장기 시계열 예측에 있어서의 문제점을 개선하는 결과를 나타내고 있다.

Design of LTPS TFT Current Mode Multiplexer and MUX-based Logic Gates

  • With the aim of creating a high-quality display system with value-added functions, we designed a current mode multiplexer for LTPS TFT devices. The multiplexers had less than 1 volt logic swing, and speed improvement was evident compared with that of conventional CMOS architecture. We refined the multiplexer to achieve a more stable current steering operation. By using the versatility of the multiplexer, a new NAND/AND and NOR/OR logic gates were designed through the simple modification of signal connections. Two micron LTPS TFT parameters were used during the HSPICE simulation of the circuits.

In this paper, the introduction of Intelligent Transportation Systems rail sector strategy is presented as follows. First, the rail users a convenient rail-centric information system used. Second, the reliability and value-added operating system built for the creation of high-tech rail. Third, crime and accidents are implemented in a safe railway. The results of this paper, the railway sector through the national Intelligent Transportation Systems to develop and introduce strategies to provide operational direction is expected to be present.

Also, future of the environment-friendly material can say that is light if develop various the environment-friendly material description and accomplish the Higher Value-added of resource.

지능형 ESC 시스템을 위한 모델 기반 결함검출 (Model Based Fault Detection for Advanced ESC System)

  • This paper describes a model based fault detection algorithm for an Advanced ESC System which consists of Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) with built-in wheel pressure sensors. Advanced ESC System can be used for various value-added functions such as Stop & Go Function and Regenerative Brake Function. Therefore, HCU must have a reliable fault detection. Due to the huge amount of sensor signals, existing specific sensor based fault detection of HCU cannot guarantee the safety of vehicle. However, proposed algorithm dose not require the sensors. When model based fault detection algorithm detects severe failures of the HCU, it warns the driver in advance to prevent accidents due to the failures. For this purpose, a mathematical model is developed and validated in comparison to actual data. Simulation results and data acquired from an actual system are compared with each other to obtain the information needed for the fault detection process.
