A Study on Tourist Destinations Recommendation App by Medical Tourism Type Using User-Based Collaborative Filtering

  • Recently, medical tourism is recognized as a high value-added industry because of its longer period of stay and higher expenditure than general tourism. In particular, although the number of medical tourists visiting Korea is increasing, the perception of Korean medical services is low. The purpose of this paper is to develop the app which, based on medical tourism type, recommends tourism destinations. Additionally, this proposed app can expand general tourism as well. It can provide tourists with medical information easily by sorting types tourists. Besides, as medical tourists normally stay long, we can take the advantage of post-treatment time. This app collects medical information data and tourist destination data, and categorizes the types of medical tourists into four categories: disease medical tourism, traditional medical tourism, cosmetic medical tourism, and recreational medical tourism. It provides medical information according to each type and recommends customized tourist destinations. User-based collaborative filtering is applied for tourist destination recommendations.

  • With the increase in copyright content exports to overseas markets due to the recent globalization of the Korean culture, the added value of the Korean digital content market is increasing at a significant rate. As such, as the size of the copyright market increases, different piracy sites have emerged that generate profits by illegally distributing works without the permission of the copyright holders, resulting in direct and indirect damage to these copyright holders. The existing copyright detection methods used in public institutions for solving this problem are limited, while the piracy sites are ever-changing. Methods are being continuously developed to achieve better detection results. To this end, it is possible to detect the latest infringement site domain by detecting the infringement site domain that is constantly changed through the search engine. This paper proposes an improved piracy site detection method using a search engine to prevent the damage caused by piracy sites.

  • One of the most frequent uses of Internet is data gathering. Data can be about many themes but perhaps one of the most demanded fields is the tourist information. Normally, databases that support these systems are maintained manually. However, there is other approach, that is, to extract data automatically, for instance, from textual public information existing in the Web. This approach consists of extracting data from textual sources(public or not) and to serve them totally or partially to the user in the form that he/she wants. The obtained data can maintain automatically databases that support different systems as WAP mobile telephones, or commercial systems accessed by Natural Language Interfaces and others. This process has three main actors. The first is the information itself that is present in a particular context. The second is the information supplier (extracting data from the existing information) and the third is the user or information searcher. This added value chain reuse and give value to existing data even in the case that these data were not tough for the last use by the use of the described technology. The main advantage of this approach is that it makes independent the information source from the information user. This means that the original information belongs to a particular context, not necessarily the context of the user. This paper will describe the application based on this approach developed by the authors in the FLEX EXPRIT IV n$^{\circ}$EP29158 in the Work-package "Knowledge Extraction & Data mining"where the information captured from digital newspapers is extracted and reused in tourist information context.

  • 문화란 정보사회를 살아가며 누리고 있는 물질적, 정신적 생활양식의 복합체로 볼 수 있다. 즉 어떤 특정지역의 구성원들이 공유하고 있는 습득된 지식, 믿음, 기술, 행동들을 모두 포함하는 생활양식이다. 사람들은 정보와 문화가 새로운 부가가치를 창출하는 시대라고 한다. 이와 같은 두 가지 개념의 공통점은 보이지 않은데 있으며, 인간의 내면의 세계에서 창조되는 것으로 수많은 경험과 체험에서 나온다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 정보문화가 글로벌화 되고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 정보문화의 확산을 위해 필요한 이론적 근거로서 사례를 중심으로 정보문화 창조과정의 모형을 제시하고 있다.

  • While the impact or internet on our everyday life keeps increasing, the internet users are turning toward the value added information only that suits their purpose instead of just wandering over a sea (pool) or information. Although it is easy to locate the information using various search engines. we still finds it time and cost consuming to update the existing information or to add similar Information. There are several portal sites managed by each industrial types or associations/organizations for the purpose or strengthening the competitiveness or small and medium-sized enterprises And currently, tremendous manpower and expenses are put into the selection and quality improvement or information to satisfy the needs toward the high qualify information by the specialized users in their fields collection and updating or the information is partially available manually during He period or budget allocation by the government it becomes problematic, however, to continue this service when the project expires. This report presents the system for the information collection, analysis and classification of portal sites operated for the special purposes and automatic upload to the proper sites. In addition. expression or web robots and application of robots and several information types are suggested which will eventually accomplish currency or information and automatic updates and addition or documents with the least expenses or maintenance.

  • The types of service using location Information are being various and extending it's domain as wireless internet technology is developing and it's application part is widespread, so it is prospected that LBS (Location-Based Services) will be killer application in wireless internet services. This location information is basic and high value-added information, and this information services make prior GIS (Geography Information System) to be useful to anybody. The acquisition of this location information from moving object is very important part for these LBS. After this, when LBS is familiar to everybody, we can predict that LBS system load is so heavy for the acquisition of so many subscribers and vehicles. Moving object database (MODB) system manages objects like subscribes and vehicles that are moving and have telecommunication terminal checked one's location. MODB is consists of 4 part, moving object location acquisition part, moving object location storage part, moving object query processing part, and moving object application p art. In this MODB system, acquisition of moving object location part must provide guarantee location information as well as reduce telecommunication overhead. In this paper, we study of problems in acquisition a huge number o f moving objects location and design some acquisition strategies to reduce telecommunication overhead. And after implementation these strategies, we estimate performance of this system and quality of information.

정보생산성에 영향을 미치는 기업경영 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Managerial Factors to the Enterprise's Information Productivity)

  • In general one can find an enormous number of studies about the productivity of land, labor and capital, very little has been done so far to communicate about the productivity of corporate information creating and information-consuming resources in ways that are useful to business executives. In view of the enormous share of corporate spending on information resources it would be useful in planning, budgeting, as well as in performance evaluation to measure how information resources are used in creating EVA(economic value-added). The effectiveness in deploying information resources has potentially a greater effect on corporate financial performance than any other economic influence. That in because corporate executives have greater discretion in directing what their information management staffs will do than in setting the terms for materials purchases, employee compensation, taxes or interest rates. The expenses for information are mostly in the form of overhead costs. Because expenses for information are mostly overhead costs and not for costs of goods, the prudent decision-maker should have a wide array of discretionary options available for allocating this resource. This study is intended for analysis the factors that having effects on the enterprise information productivity and is to description the factor using a foreign enterprise case study.

전시 컨벤션 산업의 유비쿼터스 기술 응용 (Ubiquitous Application in Exhibition and Convention Industry)

  • The exhibition and convention industry offers facilities and services required to host expositions and conferences. Currently, it has been greatly esteemed as a promising industry because it can produce a higher added value and maintain a pure environment at the same time as an aggregate of service industries. Like other industries, the need of digitalization and information system in the exhibition and convention industry makes it introduce ERP and MIS and nowadays ubiquitous related model projects are ongoing. In this paper, we conduct researches regarding the systematic introduction of ubiquitous related technologies through the service and information system identification of exhibition and convention industry, and analysis of value chain and critical success factor. We consider RFID, ZigBee and mobile related technologies as the ubiquitous related technology types and select the exhibition witness and the maintenance of facilities as the area of related technologies introduction. In addition, we propose a scheme used to analyze and solve the problems which could be occurred when ubiquitous related technologies are applied. The results of this paper could be used as a policy to nourish exhibition and convention industry, and a guideline of the host organizations.

CATV/LAN 전송망에서 우선권 문제를 추가한 MAC프로토콜의 성능해석에 관한 연구 (Performance Analysis of the prioritized MAC protocol under the CATV/LAN network)

  • 본 논문에서는 CATV/LAN 전송망에서 우선권 문제에 주안을 두어서 해석한다. CATV/LAN 전송망에서 주요 해석의 대상인 상향 채널은 단방향 채널 특성과 단말의 위치에 따라서 우선적으로 접속되는 특성을 발생한다. 그리고, 트래픽(traffic)에 대한 우선권문제(priority)가 대두된다. 이런 공정성 문제와 우선권 문제를 해결하기 위하여 전송할 데이터가 발생하며 Pi확률로 데이터를 전송하는 CSMA-CD/U/P-P(Unslotted prioritized Pi-persistent CSMA-CD)프로토콜을 제안한다. 우선권 문제는 2-Class(high, low)로 가정하였다. 성능해석과 시뮬레이션 결과 우선권 문제가 주어진 환경하에서의 2개의 시나리오(scenario)를 가정하여 데이터전송 확률값인 Pi를 구하였으며, 전송망의 공정성이 이루어 졌을 때 평균 지연 시간을 비교하였다. 또한, 지연시간의 분산값을 구하였으며 버퍼큐(buffer queue)에서의 큐길이(queue length) 분포도 구하였다. 특히 헤드엔드 시스템에 가까운 단말이 포함될수록 평균 지연 시간이 길어지는 특징을 나타내고 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 센서 노드의 에너지 소모의 효율성을 증대시키는 무선 센서 네트워크에 대한 라우팅 알고리즘을 제안한다. 각 센서 노드는 멀티 홉 센서 필드에서 최초의 플러딩 과정을 통해 싱크 노드로의 최소 홉수를 나타내는 플러딩 레벨 값을 얻는다. 이 값은 싱크 노드로의 연결을 보장하고 클러스터를 구성하는 동안 사용되며 라우팅 과정에서 효과적으로 사용되어 에너지 효율성을 증가시킨다. 이 알고리즘은 분석과 많은 실험을 통해 성능평가가 이루어진다.
