Effect of Fluoridated Bleaching Agents and Post-treatment Fluoride Application on the Color and Microhardness of Enamel Surface (불소를 함유한 치아미백제가 치아 표면의 색과 미세경도에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study were to elucidate effects of fluoridated bleaching agents and post-treatment fluoride application on the color and microhardness of enamel surface. Twenty freshly extracted human adult molar were each sectioned into halves, the specimens divided and treated according to four experimental groups: 1, untreated controls: 2, treatment with 10% carbamide peroxide (CP) bleaching agent; 3, treatment with 10% CP containing 0.11% fluoride; 4, treatment with 10% CP followed by a 0.9% sodium fluoride gel application. Group 2-4 were compared with the baseline data. treated 8 h per day for 14 days then immersed in distilled water for 2 weeks. Changes in enamel color and microhardness were evaluated on Days 7 and 14. All the bleached enamel specimens revealed increased whiteness and overall color value. Groups 2 and 4 showed significantly decreased enamel microhardness compared to their baseline. The specimens treated with fluoridated bleaching agents showed relatively less reduction in enamel microhardness than those treated with nonfluoridated agents during the bleaching treatment. The addition of fluoride did not impede the tooth whitening. The fluoridated bleaching agents reduced the microhardness loss of enamel.

An Approach to the Logistics Outsourcing Factors of the Korean Companies (한국 기업의 물류아웃소싱 활용요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to understand the conditions for using logistics outsourcing of Korean enterprises, present existing problems, examine factors affecting utility, and analyze the pattern of logistics outsourcing based on contract term, and to ultimately contribute to enhancing competitiveness of logistics enterprises. Through the literature survey 8 factors were identified as three broad factors of corporate strategy, corporate characteristics, and environment. Factor analysis was conducted on the bases of 155 collected data among 400 distributions for 2 months from April to May in 2008. From the result of analysis, the implication and finding can be summarized into three aspects. Firstly, Korean companies value factors relative to corporate strategies as motivating factors for logistics outsourcing. Secondly, Korean companies consider logistics outsourcing depending on how to handle customers' demands and the severity of competition. Thirdly, it was found that product and organization characteristics are perceived as more important when contract term with logistics business is longer. The implications can be observed into two aspects. Firstly once the logistics outsourcing between manufacturers and logistics companies are determined, it was verified that mutual agreement, particular contracts and periodic communications can increase the outcome. Secondly the logistics outsourcing appeared to be different depending on the level of entering to foreign market and resulted in higher performance as well.

Development of Neutron, Gamma ray, X-ray Radiation Measurement and Integrated Control System (중성자, 감마선, 엑스선 방사선 측정 및 통합 제어 시스템 개발)

  • In this paper, we propose an integrated control system that measures neutrons, gamma ray, and x-ray. The proposed system is able to monitor and control the data measured and analyzed on the remote or network, and can monitor and control the status of each part of the system remotely without remote control. The proposed system consists of a gamma ray/x-ray sensor part, a neutron sensor part, a main control embedded system part, a dedicated display device and GUI part, and a remote UI part. The gamma ray/x-ray sensor part measures gamma ray and x-ray of low level by using NaI(Tl) scintillation detector. The neutron sensor part measures neutrons using Proportional Counter Detector(low-level neutron) and Ion Chamber Type Detector(high-level neutron). The main control embedded system part detects radiation, samples it in seconds, and converts it into radiation dose for accumulated pulse and current values. The dedicated display device and the GUI part output the radiation measurement result and the converted radiation amount and radiation amount measurement value and provide the user with the control condition setting and the calibration function for the detection part. The remote UI unit collects and stores the measured values and transmits them to the remote monitoring system. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed system, the measurement uncertainty of the neutron detector was measured to less than ${\pm}8.2%$ and the gamma ray and x-ray detector had the uncertainty of less than 7.5%. It was confirmed that the normal operation was not less than ${\pm}15$ percent of the international standard.

  • In recent years, concern has been raised about the technique of controlling electrical breakdown by using laser in many fields. Especially, laser has attracted much attention in the Electro-Discharge Machining(EDM) because of its many rrents. 1berefore, this research has been perfonred to obtain fundarrental data for the discharge guide technology by a pulsed Nd:YAG laser which can be awJied to discharge processing machining. 1be experilnnts of laser-guided de discharge have been carried out at low air pressure ranging from 0.2 to 20 torr. The minimum laser-guided de discharge voltage $V_{G.min}$ at the given pressures P and distances d between an anode and a cathode was rreasured It is found that $V_{G.min}$ is much lower than the natural discharge voltage $V_{ND}$, and the values of VGrrin and $V_{ND}$ as a function of P.d has a similar tendency. The laser output energy $E_{out}$ decreases with input pulse duration $t_p$ increasing, and the rrore the value of $t_p$ increases, the higher that of V$V_{G.min}$ is obtained because the number of photons N decreases with $t_p$ increasing. In addition, the laser-guided de discharge range and the discharge guide characteristics as laser outpIt $E_{out}$ was investigated.igated.

Fast Generation of Intermediate View Image Using GPGPU-Based Disparity Increment Method (GPGPU 기반의 변위증분 방법을 이용한 중간시점 고속 생성)

  • Free-view, auto-stereoscopic video service is a next generation broadcasting system which offers a three-dimensional video, images of the various point are needed. This paper proposes a method that parallelizes the algorithm for arbitrary intermediate view-point image fast generation and make it faster using General Propose Graphic Processing Unit(GPGPU) with help of the Compute Unified Device Architecture(CUDA). It uses a parallelized stereo-matching method between the leftmost and the rightmost depth images to obtain disparity information and It use data calculated disparity increment per depth value. The disparity increment is used to find the location in the intermediate view-point image for each depth in the given images. Then, It is eliminate to disocclusions complement each other and remaining holes are filled image using hole-filling method and to get the final intermediate view-point image. The proposed method was implemented and applied to several test sequences. The results revealed that the quality of the generated intermediate view-point image corresponds to 30.47dB of PSNR in average and it takes about 38 frames per second to generate a Full HD intermediate view-point image.

A Correlation Study between the Environmental, Personal Exposures and Biomarkers for Volatile Organic Compounds (대기 중 휘발성유기오염물질의 환경, 개인 및 인체 노출의 상관성 연구)

  • Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are an important public health problem throughout the world. Many important questions remain to be addressed in assessing exposure to these compounds. Because they are ubiquitous and highly volatile, special techniques must be applied in the analytical determination of VOCs. Personal exposure measurements are needed to evaluate the relationship between microenvironmental concentrations and actual exposures. It is also important to investigate exposure frequency, duration, and intensity, as well as personal exposure characteristics. In addition to air monitoring, biological monitoring may contribute significantly to risk assessment by allowing estimation of absorbed doses, rather than just the external exposure concentrations, which are evaluated by environmental and personal monitoring. This study was conducted to establish the analytic procedure of VOCs in air, blood, urine and exhaled breath and to evaluate the relationships among these environmental media. The subjects of this study were selected because they are occupationally exposed to high levels of VOCs. Environmental, personal, blood, urine and exhalation samples were collected. Purge & trap, thermal desorber, gas chromatography and mass selective detector were used to analyze the collected samples. Analytical procedures were validated with the“break through test”, 'quot;recovery test for storage and transportation”,“method detection limit test”and“inter-laboratory QA/QC study”. Assessment of halogenated compounds indicted that they were significantly correlated to each other (p value < 0.01). In a similar manner, aromatic compounds were also correlated, except in urine sample. Linear regression was used to evaluate the relationships between personal exposures and environmental concentrations. These relationships for aromatic and halogenated are as follows: Halogen $s_{personal}$ = 3.875+0.068Halogen $s_{environmet}$, ($R^2$= .930) Aromatic $s_{personal}$ = 34217.757-31.266Aromatic $s_{environmet}$, ($R^2$= .821) Multiple regression was used to evaluate the relationship between exposures and various exposure deter-minants including, gender, duration of employment, and smoking history. The results of the regression model-ins for halogens in blood and aromatics in urine are as follows: Halogen $s_{blood}$ = 8.181+0.246Halogen $s_{personal}$+3.975Gender ($R^2$= .925), Aromatic $s_{urine}$ = 249.565+0.135Aromatic $s_{personal}$ -5.651 D.S ($R^2$ = .735), In conclusion, we have established analytic procedures for VOC measurement in biological and environmental samples and have presented data demonstrating relationships between VOCs levels in biological media and environmental samples.   • This paper classifies factors that form Chinese contemporary art price which comes into the spotlight in the current fine art market and consider the characteristics that form price with Chinese art only. The data were analyzed applying hedonic price setting models which include market value as a dependent variable with the various characteristics that art includes as the individual factors. The result has found that Chinese contemporary art has the more effects on factors of artists than sales factors. The social factor is worthy of notice in that Chinese GDP jointly raised with the price of Chinese contemporary art. At this point that interest in and demand of Chinese contemporary art are higher, it is thought that the result of this study will raise comprehension and convincing purchase direction will be suggested to collectors.

  • The bodyguard is continuously training basic physical training and security art martial to protect the privacy of security target, prepare and deal with external contingencies and threats. Currently, university students majoring in security are required to take a judo class, one of their security art martial, which can use a technology to catch, crush and repress opponent. Therefore, this study identified the effects of systematic training on body composition, Performance fitness, growth hormones, and IGF-1 among male university students through a 10-week judo training program so that it was committed to providing objective data to enhance the value of judo as a security art martial and as a result, we have a conclusion as follows: After 10 weeks of judo training, muscle mass increased significantly, and body fat rate and BMI decreased significantly. The muscular strength and power of Performance fitness were shown to increase significantly, and growth hormones were shown to increase significantly. In total, the above results showed that for judo training university students, overall body composition improved positively, the muscular strength and power of active physical fitness improved, and growth hormones increased. Thus, the increase in muscle strength and growth hormones through judo training will encourage fat breakdown due to the development of the body's muscles and increase bone density in the spine, thereby reducing the risk of fractures and preventing injury to the trainees who are performing a security art martial. It will also greatly help your health by preventing obesity, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, which eventually will enhance your bodyguard function and prolong your life as a bodyguard.

  • Materials used for education include SM20C, Al6061, and acrylic. SM20C materials are used a lot in certification tests and functional competitions as carbon steel, but they are also used in industrial sites. Al6061 is said to be a material that produces a lot of tools because it has lower hardness than carbon steel and is highly flexible. When practical guidance is given to students using acrylic materials, it is a material that causes vibration and tool damage due to excessive cutting. In this process, we examine how impact on the 5-axis equipment 2NC head can affect precision control. The weakest part of a five-axis equipment is the head that controls the AC axis. In the event of precision and cumulative tolerances in this area, the precision of all products is reduced. Thus, a key part of the 2NC head, the spindle housing was carried out using Al7075 T6 (U.S. Alcoasa) material and the entire body using FCD450 (spherical graphite cast iron). In the vibration and cutting process acting on these two materials, the analysis was carried out to determine the value of applying the force as a finite element analysis under extreme conditions. We hope that using these analytical data will help students see and understand the structure of 5-axis machining rather than 5-axis cutting.

A Study on Reducing Learning Time of Deep-Learning using Network Separation (망 분리를 이용한 딥러닝 학습시간 단축에 대한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose an algorithm that shortens the learning time by performing individual learning using partitioning the deep learning structure. The proposed algorithm consists of four processes: network classification origin setting process, feature vector extraction process, feature noise removal process, and class classification process. First, in the process of setting the network classification starting point, the division starting point of the network structure for effective feature vector extraction is set. Second, in the feature vector extraction process, feature vectors are extracted without additional learning using the weights previously learned. Third, in the feature noise removal process, the extracted feature vector is received and the output value of each class is learned to remove noise from the data. Fourth, in the class classification process, the noise-removed feature vector is input to the multi-layer perceptron structure, and the result is output and learned. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we experimented with the Extended Yale B face database. As a result of the experiment, in the case of the time required for one-time learning, the proposed algorithm reduced 40.7% based on the existing algorithm. In addition, the number of learning up to the target recognition rate was shortened compared with the existing algorithm. Through the experimental results, it was confirmed that the one-time learning time and the total learning time were reduced and improved over the existing algorithm.
