Quality of the library service, because it is based on the subjective meaning of the user for a particular service, depending on the individual expectation level, can be divided between satisfaction and dissatisfaction. Therefore, library services that are performed in public libraries also ultimately assessment of library services may influence based on the expected value of the user. This study is a satisfaction survey of library services to the public library of Goyang. Overall satisfaction of Public Library of Goyang in this study are in the following orders: 1) facility, 2) cultural programs and courses, 3) librarian kindness, 4) collections. To understand the specific meaning of each preference, it was analyzed in the followings: 1) the expectation level to the library space, 2) expectation level to librarians, 3) new service the users desire, 4) service the users want, etc. by age and occupation. As the age of the user increases, the demand for traditional library usage increased. In addition, services that utilize the same library external resources and utilization of external lecturer is like finding employment and art courses, expectation level of users such as reading course to utilize library resources was the highest.

The purpose of this paper is to estimate the economic value of Multi-functionality Roles including landscape and so on, which traditional stone fences in Korea possess, using Dichotomous Choice Contingent Valuation Method (DC-CVM). The stone fences is life cultural heritance of regional residents. It has functions like Development of Favorable Landscapes, Maintenance of Cultural Heritage, and Recreation/Relaxation. Expectation from regional visitors shows that the existence and inheritance value of the stone wall is higher then we expected. According to the research that we had done from the people that had agreed to contribute the stone wall. moreover the public commercial value of regional tradition stone was not only 2,900 billion won but also it will increase an economic gain in every year. Therefore, preserving the stone wall that has Multi-functional Roles and values can lead to huge economic value in the future. But farmhouses in the stone wall conservation area are being supported 9 billion won in every year. This is only 0.03% of the income that farmhouse earns per year. Thus, stone wall preservation policy and plan can raise green-tour commercial value of inland area as a long-term inside measurement. Those will have to be propelled continuously.

The purpose of this paper is to estimate the economic value of Multi-functionality Roles including landscape and so on, which the stone fences in Jejudo possess, using Dichotomous Choice Contingent Valuation Method(DC-CVM). The stone wall is life cultural heritance of Cheju islanders. It has functions like Development of Favorable Landscapes, Maintenance of Cultural Heritage, and Recreation/Relaxation. Expectation from Cheju visitors shows that the existence and inheritance value of the stone wall is higher then we expected. According to the research that we had done from the people that had agreed to contribute the stone wall, the result was that the public commercial value of Cheju tradition stone will increase every yew(2006: 367 billion won, 2011: 437.1 billion won). Therefore, preserving the stone wall that has Multi-functional Roles and values can lead to huge economic value in the future. But farmhouses in the stone wall conservation area are being supported 6 million won every year. This is only 10% of the income that farmhouse ems per year. Thus, stone wall preservation policy and plan that can raise green-tour commercial value of Cheju Island of long-term inside measurement will have to be propelled continuously.

Korean fisheries societies have had many difficulties for economic, social, and living circumstances. The government has tried many projects to improve these circumstances. But the results of the projects did not come up to his expectation. Recently, blue tourism is emerging as an alternative for improving these circumstances. So we applied a tourism value chain model for identifying what value activities and resources needed. According to the tourism value chain model, it was identified that there were six different value activities, i. e. advertising, reserving, moving, experiencing, returning, and after services of blue tourism. To identify which of the resources are sufficient or not in Korean blue tourism, we compared the required resources with actual ones. It was identified that Korean fisheries societies have so sufficient H/W related resources, but not IT related S/W resources, humanware-based resources, some industrial H/W resources and sociocultural resources. Therefore, Korean blue tourism will be activated, we have to concentrate our efforts on supplementing some scant blue tourism resources, i.e. S/W and humanware related resources and developing a variety of tourism programs to H/W resources. Generally, sustainable tourism needs all of S/W, H/W, and humanware resources. So we suggest several policies for the aspects of S/W, H/W, and humanware resources to activate blue tourism. But before carrying these policies out, they should be tested by field studies. And tourism motivations will be also studied because effective tourism marketing is impossible without an understanding of consumers' motivations.

The value embodied by "Ascending to Heaven and Being an Immortal" (Yuhua Dengxian in Chinese) implies the core gist of Daoist culture as well as its ultimate value. From the perspective of Philology, each word, "Yu", "Hua", "Deng", and "Xian" benefits us through a philosophy of life, learning skills, the pursuit of the mysteries of Daoist immortality, and the ways of life characteristics and spiritual transcendence. "To become an immortal" is becoming adept at life. "Yuhua" refers to learning transcendental skills, and "Deng" expresses the promotion of life. "Ascending to Heaven and Becoming an Immortal" integrates the goal- oriented values of Daoist Culture, learning transcendental skills, and the state of being alive into a unified whole. Namely, it is the perfect combination of an adept's supreme pursuit of value and zenith of life. By way of contrast, in Daesoon Jinrihoe, the concepts of "Daesoon" and "Perfected Unification with the Dao" not only advocate "physical and mental transformation" and "spiritual development" for Dao cohorts, but also personal cultivation and service to society, and participation in "The Creation of an Earthly Paradise." These are unified under the ideal humanistic value of "the earthly paradise of the Later World."

The transverse velocities of the gravitational lens system (galaxy plus a 'disturbing star') and their dependences on unkown properties of the source and the deflecting object are discussed. We have derived an analytic expression for the transverse velocity in terms of the velocities of the light source, the gravitational lensing galaxy and the 'disturbing star', and the observer. The results are then further applied to an estimate of the expectation value of the absolute transverse velocity and of the probable time scales of flux changes of the double QSO 0957+561A, B.

A plane-parallel model of the diffuse Galactic light (DGL) is calculated assuming exponential disks of interstellar dust and OB stars, by solving exactly the radiative transfer equation using an iterative method. We perform a radiative transfer calculation for a model with generally accepted scale heights of stellar and dust distribution and compare the results with those of van de Hulst & de Jong for a constant slab model. We also find that the intensity extrapolated to zero dust optical depth has a negative value, against to the usual expectation.

Generalized Pareto distribution play an important role in reliability, extreme value theory, and other branches of applied probability and statistics. This family of distribution includes exponential distribution, Pareto or Lomax distribution. In this paper, we established exact expressions and recurrence relations satised by the quotient moments of generalized order statistics for a generalized Pareto distribution. Further the results for quotient moments of order statistics and records are deduced from the relations obtained and a theorem for characterizing this distribution is presented.

In this paper. a new Fast Expectation-Maximization algorithm(FEM) is proposed. Firstly the K-means algorithm is modified to reduce the number of iterations for finding the initial values that are used as the initial values in EM process. Conventionally the Initial values in K-means clustering are chosen randomly. which sometimes forces the process of clustering converge to some undesired center points. Uniform partitioning method is added to the conventional K-means to extract the proper initial points for each clusters. Secondly the effect of posterior probability is emphasized such that the application of Maximum Likelihood Posterior(MLP) yields fast convergence. The proposed FEM strengthens the characteristics of conventional EM by reinforcing the speed of convergence. The superiority of FEM is demonstrated in experimental results by presenting the improvement results of EM and accelerating the speed of convergence in parameter estimation procedures.
