  • It is not difficult to see the road repairing. There are many and various machines which crush road surface. The efficiency and power of the machine depend on crushing head-shape, crushing interval, crushing load, crushing stress, machine's dropping height and roller's kind. The objective of this study is to select the optimal model among ten models of crushing machine with constraints such as crushing depth, variation, and crushed particle size. And then this paper provides the valid theoretical base on selected model. The data for this study are chosen from the site of construction in Kangnung during three months (2004. 6. 1${\~}$2004. 8. 31). The provided methodology in this paper will be fruitful not only for the selection of crushing machine but also for the aspects of construction period, cost, work efficacy according to the condition from the various sites of construction.

  • This paper reviews and examines the empirical results of past research concerning individual differences and similarities in landscape preference and evaluation. The conflicting results (differences and similarities) found in the review are attributed to the variety of methodology adopted by the past research and to the lack of comprehensive theoretical base in the field of landscape research. Two suggestions are derived from the review. First, both the landscape type to be evaluated and the measurement context to be used by research subjects have critical importance in results. Thus, it is suggested that researchers should be careful in selecting landscape type and measurement tool. Second, more scholartic endeavours should be put into a development of comprehensive theory of landscape experience that could explain both differences and similarities in people's landscape preference and evaluation. Once developed, the theory would not only provide us more valid and specific research methodology, but also allow us to design more healthy and valued landscape.

  • This study suggests hypothetic models and tests about the mediating effect of volunteer motivation which effects on the personal characteristic of hospice volunteer the participation level of volunteer activities and durability. Also, this study suggest a theoretical base for the seeking of hospice volunteer participation revitalization. This research participated 200 volunteers who attended the Autumn Conference in 2007 and 132 volunteers from five hospice organizations. The summary of research results is that the volunteer motivation of self-protection, career, social, understanding and value are endogenous variable and the 8 paths of Agreeable${\rightarrow}$self-protection, Agreeable${\rightarrow}$career, Neuroticism${\rightarrow}$career, Agreeable${\rightarrow}$social, Agreeable${\rightarrow}$understanding, Agreeable${\rightarrow}$value, Neuroticism${\rightarrow}$value, Extroversion${\rightarrow}$value valid. The path of social motivation${\rightarrow}$the participation level of volunteer activities, understanding motivation ${\rightarrow}$ the participation level of volunteer activities, value motivation${\rightarrow}$the participation level of volunteer activities are valid in the participation level of volunteer activities as an endogenous variable. The path of understanding motivation ${\rightarrow}$ the durability level of volunteer activities, value motivation ${\rightarrow}$ the durability level of volunteer activities, the participation level of volunteer activities ${\rightarrow}$ the durability level of volunteer activities are valid in the durability level of volunteer activities as an endogenous variable. Also, this study test the mediating effect an attended direct effect as the central figure and based on the these results, the revitalizations of hospice volunteer participant are suggested as an proposal.

  • This study is an empirical analysis regarding what kind of factors affect the intention to use autonomous vehicles. For the empirical analysis the research model was derived from value-based adoption model base and integrated some aspects that only autonomous vehicles have. At default variables of VAM are usefulness, enjoyment, technicality, perceived cost, some autonomous vehicle related variables were added, and those are convenience, safety, security, social influence. A survey was done in order to empirically analyze with this research model, and 216 valid survey answers were chosen to analyze. Empirical analysis was done by structural equation using AMOS24. The result of empirical analysis were as follows. Variables usefulness, enjoyment, safety, security had a significant positive effect on perceived value. Technicality and perceived cost had a significant negative effect of perceived value. In addition, security and social influence had no significant effect on perceived value. Furthermore, perceived value had significant positive effect on intention to use. Among the variables that came out to be significantly positive, the most influencing variable was safety, followed by convenience, perceived cost, enjoyment, usefulness and then technicality. In addition, the analysis of mediating effect of perceived value shows that usefulness, enjoyment, convenience, safety, technicality, perceived cost had mediating role towards intention to use. However, security and social influence had no siginificant mediating effect towards intention to use. Considering all these research results this study has provided theoretical and practical implications to researchers on the intention to use autonomous vehicles.
