In this paper we suggest new criteria for the classification of the electrode gap between common and scan electrodes. The electrode gap is categorized as a short, middle, and long gap according to the criteria. Among these structures, we focus on the erase waveform of a mid-gap structure. we report an unstable discharge arising from the erase ramp period in a mid-gap structure. Based on the Vt close curve, we analyze the unstable discharge at various conditions. Our analysis reveals that the unstable discharge is ignited between surface electrodes and caused by un-erased wall charges accumulated on the outer edges of electrodes. By reducing the voltage level of the last sustain pulse, the problem is solved.

이 논문의 목적은 선박교통관제 시스템(VTS)을 도입할 경우, 이 시스템을 통하여 예방 가능한 해난사고가 어느 정도인지를 계량화 하여 q고자 하는 것이다. 기존의 연구에서는 전문가의 의견을 종합하는 방법이나 해난의 통계적 분석 방법중 하나를 이용하여 그 효과를 추정하였으나, 이 연구에서는 이들 두가지 방법을 동시에 고려한 새로운 방법을 제안하였다. 이 연구에서 새로이 제안한 방법을 이용하여 한국 연안에 VTS를 도입하였을 경우의 효과를 추정해 본 바, 전체적으로 보아 약 46퍼센트의 해난을 예방할 수 있을 것으로 예상되었다. 또한 이 방법을 이용하면 해난사고 종류별 예방 효과, 원인 요소 그룹별 효과 및 각 해역별 효과를 손쉽게 구할 수가 있다. 마지막 중요 변수의 병화에 따라 전체적인 결과가 어떻게 변하는지를 알아보기 위해 민감도 분석을 실시하였다.

선박 운항 안전을 위한 기술은 선박 자체 뿐만아니라 육상 해상교통관제 시스템(VTS)에서도 매우 중요한 역할을 수행한다. 최근 국제적으로 e-Navigation을 지향한 최신 IT기술을 반영한 새로운 안전운행을 지원하기 위한 VTS 기술개발이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 이러한 국제적 변화와 더불어 최근 국내에서는 초고속 선박인, 위그선이 개발되어 곧 운항될 예정이므로, 기존의 VTS에서(>70NM) 추적할 수 있는 물표의 속도 범위를 벗어나고 있다. 따라서 물표 추적 및 융합 알고리즘의 위그선 환경을 고려한 개선된 기술개발 필요성이 제기되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 초고속 선박 환경에서 국내 VTS 시스템에서 적용 가능한 방안을 연구하고, 이들을 비교하여 실제 적용할 수 있는 기술개발 방향을 정립하고자 한다.

현재 VTS센터에서 사용되고 있는 항만자동안내방송시스템은 VHF음성통신을 기반으로 하고 있어 그 방송범위에 제약이 있다. 최근 AIS의 보급이 확대됨에 따라 AIS신호가 연안해역에서 약 100마일까지 송수신이 되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존에 전국의 VTS에 설치되어 있는 VHF음성통신 항만자동안내방송시스템에 AIS TEXT MESSAGE기능을 통합 운영하여 연안해역까지 해상안전을 위한 자동안내방송을 확대하고자 함이 그 목적이다.

본 논문에서는 신뢰도와 고조파를 동시에 고려하여 배선계통을 계획할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 우선, VBDRA를 사용하여 신뢰도를 비용으로 처리할 수 있도록 하였으며, 고조파의 영향을 비용으로 처리할 수 있도록 함으로써, 두가지 요소사이에서 발생하는 단위문제를 해결하였다. 또한 배전계통의 다양한 대체안을 구성하고, 이들 각각에 대한 신뢰도비용, 고조파비용, 신증설비용을 계산한 다음, 이들의 총비용을 통하여 가장 합리적인 대체안을 결정할 수 있도록 하였다.

This study aims at the observation of some analytical levels-especially those of syntactico-semantical- of the visual expressions in general. As far as the syntactical parts are concerned, there were two steps to be approached. One is to select the paradigms according to the Saussure-Hambidgean suggestions, the other to derive syntagmas from what is called the 'chaos-system', one of nonlinear dynamics. In result, paradigms could be acquired 5 sorts with its so many varieties, as visual templates(VT), supplemented by their reciprocals(R) and complements(CLE), and syntagmas five orbits from each constant c=0 to c=10. In additional, in connection with semantic parts, the study introduced a Gremasian model of discourses and narratives for the interpretation of signifiers. By this, we could cover the conjunctive relationships(+) and the disjunctive(-) of the whole structure of visual expression. Finally, we certified that the above could be fully approved in terms of recent worldly cognitive scientic psychological discoveries.

The present study was carried out to investigate the biochemical characteristics, antibiotic susceptibility and toxin(ST, LT, VT1.2 type) production test of 60 Escherichia coli isolated from diseased domestic animals in southern area of Kyungbuk province from April to December 1997. 1. The biochemical and cultural reaction were consistent with the classification criteria of Edwards and Ewing. 2. In antibiotic susceptibility test, 60 E coli showed highly susceptible to CL(96.7%), XNL(86.7%), AN(81.7%), SXT(61.7%), Lin(55%), GM(53.3%), KM(41.7%), N(41.7%), ENR(40%), AM(40%), CF(30%), 5(13.3%) and Te(11.7%), in order. 3. Sixty E coli isolates were multiful resistant to seven or more antibiotics incombination. 4. Three strains for 60 E coli were detected heat-labile enterotoxin(LT) and that's titers were 2, 8 and 16, respectively.

해상교통관제시스템(Vessel Traffic System: VTS)에서는 해상 사건/사고를 사후 확인하거나 해상 교통량 확인을 위해 사용하기 위한 목적으로 VTS에서 발생하는 데이터를 저장 및 관리한다. 특정 지역에 대한 장시간 교통량 확인에서는 녹화된 재생 데이터를 고속 배속으로 실행시켜 살펴보는 것이 시간 단축에 큰 도움이 된다. 그런데 일반 영상이 아닌 VTS 서브 시스템간 주고 받은 메시지와 영상이 포함된 VTS 녹화재생에서는 고속 배속을 지원하는데 자연스럽지 않은 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 VTS 녹화재생 기능이 고속 배속을 지원하기 위해 필요한 요구사항을 분석한다.

Electro-optical (EO) performances of the ion beam aligned twisted nematic (TN)-liquid crystal display (LCD) with oblique ion beam exposure on the DLC thin film surface were studied. An excellent voltage-transmittance (VT) curve of the ion beam aligned TN-LCD was observed with oblique ion beam exposure on the DLC thin film surface for 1 min. Also, a faster response time for the ion beam aligned TN-LCD can be achieved with oblique ion beam exposure on the DLC thin film surface for 1 min can be achieved.

This study investigates formant transition shapes of Korean front vowels produced by native speakers of Seoul Korean. Sixteen speakers (eight male and eight female speakers) produced [pVt] syllables where the vowels were [i, e, ɛ]. F1, F2, and F3 transition shapes were estimated by presenting formant values at 11 points by dividing the vowel duration into 10 different time intervals. The results indicated that the male and female speakers overall demonstrated similar formant transition shapes and measurement points arriving at the maximum and minimum formant values for the three front vowels. As for the vowels [e] and [ɛ], both male and female speakers showed similar formant values across the 11 measurement points and similar measurement points arriving at the maximum and minimum values, indicating that the two Korean vowels have been merged not only in the steady-state formant values, but also in the dynamic transition shapes.
