Observations of times of minimum lights of the eclipsing binary V65l Cas were carried out on the three nights from November 21-23, 2000. From our observations a total of seven new times of minimum lights was obtained. Through the analysis of photoelectric and CCD times of minima of V65l Cas including ours, the light time orbit due to a third body, which was propose by Kim ＆ Lee (2000), was confirmed and improved. The resultant values for the period, semi-amplitude, and eccentricity of the light-time orbit were $6.^{y}3,\;0.^{d}0013$, and 0.78, respectively. The deduced marts range of the third body is . If the third body is $0.09M_{\odot}\;{\leq}\;M_3\;{\leq}\;0.20M_{\odot}\;for\;i_3\;{\geq}\;30^{\circ}$. If the third body suggested in V65l Cas system exists really and is a main-sequence star, it is located at the end of the main-sequence.

Background: Previous studies of radial nerve conduction study (NCS) did not present how to measure the length of the radial nerve across the elbow, and did not even mention how to manage the spiral course of the nerve. This study aimed to applicate the most reliable method to measure the length of the radial nerve during NCS. Methods: Three points (A, B, and C) were determined along the relatively straight course of the radial nerve. The distance was measured using three different methods: L1) straight distance corresponding to the A-C distance, L2) sum of the distances corresponding to the A-B-C distance, L3) based on the L2, but the elbow is flexed at a $45^{\circ}$ angle. We compared the three methods of distance measurement and the calculated nerve conduction velocities (V1, V2, and V3) in normal healthy subjects. Results: 19 normal participants were enrolled. The mean value for method L1, L2 and L3 were $22.5{\pm}1.8cm$, $24.0{\pm}2.1cm$, and $23.2{\pm}2.1cm$ (p < 0.001). Calculated conduction velocities using those distance measurement methods as follows (p < 0.001): V1 ($60.9{\pm}2.7m/s$), V2 ($64.6{\pm}3.3m/s$), and V3 ($63.4{\pm}3.9m/s$). V2 was significantly greater than V1 and V3 (p < 0.001, p = 0.010, respectively). Conclusions: The distance measurement using a stopover point near the lateral epicondyle between two stimulus points in position of a fully extended elbow with forearm pronation is the most appropriate posture for radial motor NCS.

Various solvents (chloroform, hexane, ethyl acetate, ethanol, methanol, and hot water) were tested to investigate the antimicrobial activities of sword bean (Canavalia gladiata) against 12 food poisoning bacteria. Chloroform, hexane, ethyl acetate and hot water extracts had no antimicrobial activities, but ethanol extract showed V. parahemolyticus 10 mm, S. sonnei 9 mm, and methanol extract showed strong activities in order of V. parahemolyticus 22 mm, S. sonnei 21 mm, L. monocytogenes 20 mm by disk diffusion. The minimal inhibitory concentrations (MICs) were also determined. The methanol extract had MIC values of 50 mg/mL against S. Typhimurium, V. parahemolyticus, and S. sonnei and values of 100 mg/mL against other 7 food poisoning bacteria and values of 200 mg/mL against Y. enterocolitica and MRSA. The inhibitory effect of methanol sword bean extract on the growth of V. parahemolyticus was investigated. Growth of the strain occurred at the concentration of 0.5% extract and was inhibited continuously at 1.0 and 1.5% for 30hours after inoculation, whereas the strain was completely inhibited at 2.0% after 9hours of inoculation.

Changes in total nitrogen (T.N.) and total phosphate (T.P.) content in environmental waste water upon the reaction of biological purifying reagents were measured and the reaction rate was evaluated. The purification capacity of two biological purifying reagents composed of vegetable Lactobacillus fermentum (V.L.F.), Saccharomyces cerevisiae(S.C), and Bacillus subtilis(B.S.) were evaluated and compared with that of commercial water purification system operating by local government. After 18days of reaction, the mixture of V.L.F. and S.C. showed dramatic decrease of T.N.(36.21% of the initial value). The mixture of V.L.F., S.C., and B.S. showed faster reaction rate to decrease T.P. compared with that of the mixture of V.L.F. and S.C. The reaction constant of mixture of V.L.F. and S.C. was estimated to be 0.178 $day^{-1}$ by the curve fitting of the data of changes in T.N. during the reaction.

The rapid growth of network technology makes the high-tech weapon. Thus, in the modern war, the ability to immediately use of the high-tech weapon is important. To realize this ability, continuous trainning is necessary but, this trainning spends many money. To improve the budget efficiency, Modeling and Simulation(M&S) are used. However, they seriously decrease the reality. Recently, the system which can support the combination of Live with Virtual simulation is on the rise. The typical example is L-V-C Environment and many kind of middleware which can support the L-V-C Envrionment are already proposed. Previous middleware can support the interoperability between different simulations but, it cannot completely interoperate three(Live, Virtual, Constructive) simulation environments. In this paper, to solve this problem, we propose the scheme which is combination between different middlewares. And we conduct the API mapping between HLA and DDS which are typical middleware and verify the scheme.

For simple undirected graph G=(V,E), L(2,1)-coloring of G is a nonnegative real-valued function f : V → [0,1,…,k] such that whenever vertices x and y are adjacent in G then |f(x)-f(y)|≥ 2 and whenever the distance between x and y is 2, |f(x)-f(y)|≥ 1. For a given L(2,1)-coloring c of graph G, the c-span is λ(c) = max{|c(v)-c(v)||u,v∈V}. L(2,1)-coloring number λ(G) = min{λ(c)} where the minimum is taken over all L(2,1)-coloring c of graph G. In this paper, based on Harary's Theorem, we use Tabu Search to figure out the existence of Hamiltonian Path in a complementary graph and confirmed that if λ(G) is equal to n(=|V|).

La $d\'{e}marche$ et l'objet de cette recherche sont d'analyser, psychiquement, $th\'{e}oriquement$, les marques de $l'intersexualit\'{e}$ $pr\'{e}sentent$ en Orient et les $\'{e}l\'{e}ments$ intersexuels, binaires dans le $v\hat{e}tement$, et $\'{e}galement$ de comprendre $l'ambiguit\'{e}$ ou encore la fusion des $identit\'{e}s$ $sexu\'{e}es$, qui $pr\'{e}sente$ symboliquement a travers le $v\hat{e}tement$, dans la $soci\'{e}t\'{e}$ moderne. La base fondamentale dans la $th\'{e}orie$ de l'Orient est que l'univers se divise en Yin ($caract\`{e}re\;f\'{e}minin$) et Yang ($caract\`{e}re$ masculin) et que tout individu $poss\`{e}de$ $\'{e}galement$ ce couple, en quelque sorte un intersexuel qui s'ignore, avec des variations selon l'individu. En $d\'{e}finitive$, les compositions doubles des $\'{e}l\'{e}ments$ dans le $v\hat{e}tement$ oriental montraient $embl\'{e}matiquement$ nos $qualit\'{e}s$ doubles, masculins et $f\'{e}minins$, et les trois $\'{e}l\'{e}ments$ semblent primordiaux pour $l'\'{e}lucidation$ de la $pr\'{e}disposition$ du porteur : la couleur du tissu, sa forme et la texture du $v\hat{e}tement$. La mode d'auiourd'hui oscille entre masculin et $f\hat{e}minin$. Cette fusion de la mode semble le reflet d'une tendance intersexuelle et d'une fusion du genre. Ainsi, cette recherche est, $\grave{a}$ travers $l'\'{e}l\'{e}ment$ masculin ou $f\'{e}minin$ des $v\hat{e}tements$, pour tenter de discerner lesprit, l'intention et le $caract\`{e}re$ sexuel dominant du porteur.

Insulators of 154kV T/L have been frequently damaged by fault currents. Arcing horn is a very effective and economic method for protection of insulators from the flashover. We developed arcing horns for 154kV T/L in order to protect insulators from the arc[1]. This paper analyzes the status of insulator failures in 154kV T/L after installation of the arcing horns.
